The Hesperia Ramblas has an excellent location just a few metres from the Ramblas, near the famous Boqueria market in the heart of Barcelona's Old town. The service here is top-notch! Whether you need a dinner recommendation or help with check-in, the staff is super helpful. And the location? Absolutely unbeatable! You’re within walking distance of everything—La Catedral is less than 10 minutes away (a little longer if you’re like me and stop for photos), La Boqueria market is just around the corner, and Las Ramblas is only a few steps away. Plus, there’s a metro station nearby for easy access to the rest of the city. And if that’s not enough, the tourist bus stop is just a 15-minute walk away. Couldn’t ask for a better spot!

If you’re looking for somewhere to rest your weary legs, then this place fits the bill. If you want luxury, this is definitely not it.
Friendly enough staff on reception and in the breakfast hall. Excellent location with access to Barcelona Metro within a 2 min walk.

Located close by is the mercado la boqueria which has a good selection of snacks and drinks.

I am leaving Barcelona with a heavy heart, as both my spouse and I have suffered from severe colds due to the negligence of your hotel. On the first day, I informed the hotel staff that the room was too cold. The technician came twice and confirmed that the heating system was not working. He said that we would be moved to another room, but this never happened until the last day.

Moreover, the refrigerator in the room was broken. Additionally, as per your own policy, the hotel entrance door did not open automatically upon arrival, and we had to ring the reception to be let in—provided someone was available. Your reasoning for this was hotel security.

Unfortunately, our New Year's celebration was ruined, and we are now returning to our country while suffering from illness. Please never compromise the health and well-being of your guests for the hotel’s benefit. This hotel is not suitable for staying.

Just off the busy La Ramblas at a stone's throw next to the famous food market and near a lovely square with a very old building, some restaurant and locals hanging out. Out of season; not many tourists about which was perfect. Very fresh modern and clean hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Really nice breakfast buffet with excellent coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Extensive array of food with an impressive choice of cheeses and meats (chorizos and Spanish hams and the like). In season probably not as cheap a hotel anymore but it is a really nice hotel in a fantastic location.

Fantastic staff, very clean, close to everything just off Las Rambla but lovely and quiet at night because of the double glazed windows. Super sized comfy beds and pillows, lots of hot water day and night. Couldn't ask for more at such a reasonable price. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Barcelona!

Friendly and polite staff. The room was nice and clean. It’s a good place to stay if you’re into the busyness of the Rambla street.

Perfect for a few nights in barca, rooms are standard but grand! Few stains in the corners and marks all over the future but who cares about that, the pressure in the shower wasn't great, and it seemed the power cut a few times but besides that the beds were comfortable and the staff friendly, solid 4/5.
