chic&basic Reding Hotel

Booked last minute due to the national power outage in Spain which resulted in our evening flight home being cancelled.

Checked in in darkness and entered room in darkness but using our phones we navigated around the room and slept well in a comfortable bed for a few hours before returning to the airport.

Good price, less than 10 minutes walk to the airport bus stop.

Lovely guy on the desk who accepted our screen shot of a booking we'd managed to make in the snippets of data being available.

We very much appreciated the friendly welcome and good sleep.

Highly recommended and we are going to book again when we need to be in Barcelona.

When we booked we reserved breakfast because it was advertised as an all-you-can-eat buffet. After finalizing the reservation, in the confirmation email we were informed that our breakfast would be served in a lunch box. It was a bad surprise! We were very disappointed and felt like we had been ripped off. (False advertising) We were able to cancel breakfast upon arrival because we didn't like the formula. Otherwise, all around the hotel there are excellent breakfast options.

We've spent 2 nights in Reding. Everything was clean, functional and comfortable. We had a Nespresso machine with capsules, sugar etc. Bathroom amenities were also there. Location is just the best, 100 m to underground and airport bus, steps from Rambla, Passeigh de Gracia.
And the best of the best was David, the receptionist. Starting with a professional and helpful attitude to a friendly and warm relationship. No problem with earlier check in, bag storage on departure day. Thank you David.

First of all, if you are Korean, a place where you can feel safe about losing things is the top priority, so I'll tell you this first~! I stayed for a total of 4 nights and it's a place where you can feel safe. They clean it as requested and pay a lot of attention to the room condition in preparation for the aging of the building! It's a bit noisy, but I slept well with earplugs on!

3. There's a bit of a smell that Koreans have a hard time getting used to

I didn't want to pay 400+ a night for a hotel after a cruise so this place had good reviews. The concept hotel was bright and modern in reception area, although I think in an older building. The staff were great and helpful allowing us to store our luggage early. The rooms were big, clean and pleasant. Beds were comfortable, we needed something to open our luggage on. We were told to help ourselves to the minibar. We enjoyed the small bottle of wine and chips on the desk. The decor was a bit dark and lighting was low. Bathroom had funny sayings on the different soaps etc. They had told us in advance that they were switching to boxed breakfasts and so we weren't expecting much especially since I'm gluten free, we were very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast boxes, with sandwiches, baked goodies, breakfast bars, yogurt and juice, see photos. A very pleasant place in a good location to many things. We would stay here again. Only thing is we saw on their advertisement was that they had a free shuttle to the airport was not true, for free they will call a cab you have to pay for. Translation issue? They need to remove that as it's incorrect information.

Hotel with a great location! Right in the center of Paris and with metro nearby! Very friendly staff!

The location is excellent. There are different shops and restaurants right outside the hotel. It is also very quiet at night. The cleanliness is acceptable and the receptionist's service attitude is also very good. Drinks in the room can be enjoyed for free, which is very satisfying.

The room was very clean and there were plenty of drinks available, including juice and wine. I would like to stay here again if I come to Barcelona. Thank you very much.
