We enjoyed our stay. The room was well equipped and spacious enough, the bed was comfortable, we had quiet at night and slept very well.

We liked the breakfast that is offered for a very reasonable price. We enjoyed having drinks at the hotel's bar (although we were a bit disappointed from the restaurant's food). The hotel's small fitness room was also very nice.

The hotel is located in a nice area, that is a walking distance from a good shopping center, from some bars and restaurants, from a relatively big train station, and from 2 metro stations. Walking to the Gothic Quarter is about 40 minutes, but that can easily be done with public transportation.

All in all - good balance between everything. Good job, and thank you very much for a great stay.

I was surprised how good this ibis is. In my opinion, it is a little bit more than a budget hotel, and I had an even better experience than some three-star hotels of Accor group.

The location is great. The hotel sits outside of the old town, in a fairly new and modern district. Several minutes away is the Glories shopping center, two subway stations, and the beloved restaurant street. In 20 minutes walk you'll get to beaches. Next to the hotel is a hospital, but the noise isolation was great in my room, it didn't bother me in the night.

The room I got was a typical ibis room with new standards. Nothing special, all sits in expectations. A big plus is that the king size bed was not two beds putting together, but really a big size bed.

The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. The reception is on call 24/7. In the late night the hotel entrance will be locked and only be opened manually for hotel guests. That's a plus for the security.

The downside during my stay was the breakfast. There was only a small area for breakfast, not so many options. The bread was really bad, I'm not comparing it to German bread, just bad in general. I would not recommend booking the breakfast, since there are tons of cafes in the neighborhood.

There's a fitness room in the hotel, which I would say is not typical in budget hotel. There's a treadmill, a cycle machine, and a step machine, dumbbells from 4 to 14 kg and a yoga ball available. Apparently the fitness room was not used a lot. In my first visit there were no towels anymore. And the second visit, the treadmill was not working. Still, a good option to do some exercises, just not a fully equipped gym.

Overall I'm happy with the hotel, and will probably book again for the next time.

Hotel was nice, if dated on the upper floors - it has the classic IBIS look and layout. Was not cheap, but Barcelona at this time of year is very very busy with visitors - and the prices of everything reflect that. Nice lobby, nice breakfast, (much nicer than the Gent, BE Ibis for instance). Overall a nice stay.

Room and bathroom are clean.
Equipments are new (smart TV)
Front desk staff are nice and are willing to help.

But a bit weird that the cleaning staff ask do i need room service, given i have placed the quiet sign outside my room.

And more than 2 times unknown guys would like to open my room door, given my room is locked.
I dont know they are staff or other visitors or thief as i cannot see them from the door.

Be careful if you stay in this hotel.

We loved the hotel! The decor, the breakfast was good especially the tortilla. The room was great size and the shower was great. Only complaint would be the heat in the room. The only way to cool the room was to open the window. We are Canadian, I'm sure a European would not have the same feeling.

This was a nice clean hotel that was just a few blocks away from a couple of subway entrances. The rooms were comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived a bit early but our rooms were ready and they allowed us to check in which was very much appreciated after 9 hours of travel. The breakfast was simple, but filling most days there was a good selection of breads, jams, tea and coffee. They also offered eggs, bacon and sausage. It was all buffet style. We tend to stay at locations that offer breakfast as a part of the stay to save on spending on at least one meal a day and this one was satisfactory.
The location was a bit distant from the center of town and seemed to be in a more residential part of town, however a 20-30 minute ride on the metro took you right to the heart of town. But because it was away from the tourist areas it was really nice and quiet. They had a bar where the breakfast was served and patio seating which was nice if you want to come back and have a casual drink at the end of a busy sightseeing day. There were little grocers just a block or two away where you could pick up snacks or drinks. No coffee, tea, fridge or microwave in the rooms. But they had some amenities in case you forgot to bring a razor, toothbrush or cotton swabs. I would stay here again especially after figuring out how to get around the town. It’s also very close to a Hop on Hop off Bus stop.
