Ilunion Mini-hotel

The room was very clean and mostly comfortable. The TV only had one English channel which was news. The staff at the front desk were slow and not very friendly or helpful. There were 3 people in our room and we only had glasses and towels for two. Requested the items from the front desk and received a small paper cup, twice. Language was not the issue. Had to get ice from the restaurant in the lobby. No bucket just a small plastic bag.

I stayed for 4 days at the hotel and they gave me a room in the first floor. The smell was a bit strange in the corridor, but when I opened the room door, goshhhh. A quite strong smell came out. My first impression was that someone smoked there or the last guest had a strong body smell. In any case, I couldn't stay there and had to switch. The other room in the fifth floor was much better. However, I could notice the same smell but much less.

I believe the carpet or the central air conditioner is extremely old. In general the room is clean and there are a lot of people cleaning the rooms.

The building and room are very old. The breakfast is extremely bad. my team (7 ppl) and I weren't able to eat there. A friend had a lunch and vomited a few minutes later... I highly recommend not to stay there.

The last day, the hotel cut the water supply of my work colleagues. No words to describe this hotel.

If I could give this place a zero I would. First off, it’s 2025… if you’re going to charge an arm and leg for a hotel that has a cleaning lady just hanging around the washrooms and not re filling anything I suggest you hire better cleaners. Toilets were disgusting, no soap, no toilet paper. No ironing boards or irons in the room, you have to pay if you want to use one. People at this hotel don’t smile or offer to help you. The only person who smiled was David in the dining area. Let’s talk about that… when you eat, workers are hanging around watching you. They don’t smile and yell at you if you take an apple or banana to your room. 2 lights never went on in our room so you couldn’t see half the time. Came into my room one day with a pile of hair in the corner on the floor, definitely not a clean place. The shower was so messed up. Half a door, so water gets everywhere. The tub was extremely slippery and so dangerous. I would not recommend this place to anyone, EVER. My mom called for another towel, and they told her to go downstairs because no one was available to bring one to her. She went down, and they sent her back up because they said they would bring it to her. Then she went upstairs and someone was there with the towels. What poor communication. At breakfast, they told you where to sit, you couldn’t choose. I had a horrible experience here… never coming back. At check out, no one asked how our stay was just “Name. Bye.” Yeah.. see you never. This place lacks so much.

Let me start by saying the room was filthy. Cleaning? Barely existed. Dust, hair, stains - like no one bothered to do a proper job.
They call themselves “dog-friendly” - that’s a joke. My dog is friendly, calm, trained, and clean. Yet we were treated like pests. Staff looked disgusted, guests stared. The whole place radiated hostility toward animals. You shouldn’t advertise as dog-friendly if you can’t handle the presence of dogs - my dog.

And now the worst part:
My backpack was stolen literally at the front door of the hotel, right after check-in, at 11 AM - broad daylight.
We were unloading our luggage and boom - gone. The hotel staff? Completely indifferent. Not even a “we’re sorry.” No help, no camera footage, no concern. Just a cold “go to the police, not our problem.”

How dare you call yourselves hospitality professionals? You create an unsafe, unwelcoming, and frankly disgusting environment.
Absolutely shameful.

NO Air conditioning! After switching rooms a couple of times staff told us that is they way their A/C works. Feels like it is pushing out stale air. Our room is warmer than the hallway. We had to move to this hotel as our other one could not take our accommodate us for our 9 day stay. This hotel is definitely a step down from our other hotel. Smaller, bed not as comfortable and don't forget about lack of A/C!
