We spent a long weekend here lovely hotel very big also could have used the other 2 hotels within walking distance this is a holiday village with 3 hotels. It has a water park that is a 15 minute walk away but be aware its all down hill going so obviously its all up hill walking back, there is a shuttle bus that runs all day. We visited on Saturday 4th October 2025 no problem getting a sun bed, the water i have to say was very cold but we did get used to it. The only down side was that there was 2 bars that where open but snacks wernt being served because of the time of year but we didnt mind because we had a large breakfast and there was a shop that sold crisps and snacks.
The food in the hotel was lovely lots of variety somthing for everyone. There is a spa but I didn't use this. There is an on site shop that sold toys souvenirs alcohol soft drinks and snacks. There is one large pool this is open 10am to 6pm access to the pool is only at this time. There was a kettle and small kitchen area in our apartment but coffe and tea was not supplied. In the hotel there is a waterfall an avery and little pond areas with terrapins. The all inclusive band has a chip in which also opens your apartment door we had quite a few issues with this so we ended up being given a key card. You have to pay a €25 deposit for the band which is refunded to you once you check out and give back your band if you lose it they charge €25 for a replacement. You also have to give bank or credit card details so they can charge you for any damages or breakages that are your fault

Do not recommend. Bed bugs found in two rooms – extremely distressing experience, and no responsibility taken by the hotel.

During our stay, we encountered bed bugs in two different rooms. I captured live bugs on video, and both myself and my 12 month old baby were bitten multiple times on the face, neck, arms. From the first night I was already reacting to bites but didn’t realise the cause until later.

I had to bag and spray all of our belongings myself, including our suitcases, because staff did not do this, despite the infestation. The situation was made even harder because we were travelling with two children and a pram.

It’s important to state clearly:
• We have never had bed bugs before this trip.
• Once we moved to a completely different hotel, the bites stopped immediately.
• We had no issues whatsoever in the new hotel or anywhere else afterward.

This makes it clear that the problem originated from the Polynesia, not from us or our belongings.

When I returned home, I had to take time off work to steam-clean all of our items, including our car. I also had to throw away a fabric suitcase to be safe. This was an enormous amount of stress, time, and money. It was a preventative measure to ensure we did not bring home contaminated belongings.

Although the hotel refunded part of our stay and transferred us to another hotel, their insurer ultimately denied all responsibility, despite the evidence we provided. The hotel offered to provide me with a full refund in exchange for not pursing any claims or action regarding the issue. We refused as see this as an extremely serious issue.

I am now pursuing an official consumer complaint because of how this was all handled.

This was a deeply upsetting experience during what should have been a family holiday. I do not recommend this hotel.

Fantastic stay at Hotel Polynesia - hotel world resort! Great food and drink choices in the restaurant with appealing meal times which worked for us as group. Clean and tidy all around the resort! Big shout out to Marta animation team! She got us all involved and we had some great fun with the games! Very enjoyable! She deserves 5*s on her own!

Outstanding hotel, unique interior with fish turtles and birds all living happily within the hotel. Perfect place for young families. Good variety of food and drinks available at convenient times throughout the day. Rooms are of a generous size and I belive all are with balconies offering great views of the surrounding sea, wildlife, sun rises and sun sets. Hotel is spotless with what seems like an army of staff working hard 24/7 to keep it that way. Would definitely come again

This was our second stay and we loved both visits. The rooms are great, the beds and big and comfortable. We loved the food (other than the desserts, which felt like fake cream in many different colours) and there were great options for all of my family. The pool is amazing and so nice to see the added extras like the inflatable slide and the foam party. The animation team were always lively and fun. The entertainers we watched were great, especially the Kenyan boys.

But most of all, without a single exception, every member of staff, from reception, to the cleaning staff, animation team and restaurant staff, were all friendly, cheerful, keen-to-help and made sure that we had a great stay.

I'm sure that we will be back.

The entertainment was good the food in the restaurant was basic and not alot of choice. The breakfast was the best meal of the day .The Italian restaurant was superb food brilliant best meal all holiday and the waitress esta sorry can't spell her full name she was wonderful great customer service.

This is my 3rd night in this hotel (one week package holiday with TUI- from UK- family of 5).

So far (being totally fair and honest)

Positives:::::

Good staff/services.

Good food/drinks (I am only refering to soft drinks)- not much varieties and very repetitive. (dishes don't have proper sign of main ingredients: pork/ham/beef/chicken/seafood. No sign for some dishes and staff sometimes struggle with English.

Good size rooms (small kitchen, living room, huge bathroom and bedroom with balcony).

Clean rooms.

Good swimming pools especially the Beach club park.

Entertainment are ok (daytime/early evening) for adults n kids but night entertainment not that good (dull).

Negatives:::::

This hotel got a serious issue; their cooling system/AC (air conditioning) is rubbish wherever you go indoors; this including rooms, restaurant, reception, gaming room.... etc..

We are very disappointed by this issue, giving this time of the year which is very hot. We can't stay in the room day time and can't sleep at night.

Spent huge amount of money thought it will be a decent hotel but we are struggling day and night with this problem.

I will talk to reception tomorrow morning for the 2nd time and to TUI rep and let's see what will happen.

I will update my review later on and provide more info or feedback regarding other services once I am back.
