Description

The hotel is situated in the privileged area of Illetas. The area is surrounded by parkland. Have Russian speaking staff. The hotel is located on a high hill and has many stairs. Not recommended for the elderly. Perfect for a family holiday.

Location: Illetas, 7 km from Palma, 19 km from airport, 3 km from the leisure area of Puerto portals, 1 km from the nearest Golf course (Real Golf Bendinat), and not far from other Golf clubs of Palma and Calvia, close to the beach (800 m).

Is included into group of hotels RIU HOTELS & RESORTS.

In one hotel a six-story building and 22 two-storey bungalows. Bungalows are located next to the hotel, surrounded by a Park and offer a great view of the sea.

The hotel has 138 rooms.

Total area: 8000 m2

Beach: public, sandy (Playa de Illetas), 800 m from the hotel (3 coastline). On the beach umbrellas, sun beds: free. At the pool umbrellas, sun beds: free of charge. Pool towels: Deposit. The length of the beach 120 m.

The hotel is clean as are the rooms, however the rooms could be modernised. No free water provided even though there are drinks in the fridge.

The location is good and has good transport links, it’s just two buses (4 and A11) to the airport and takes about an hour to an hour and twenty, the stops are directly outside the hotel.

Breakfast was included and it was exactly what we expected, clean, fresh and catered for all dietary requirements.

There is a crazy golf course, pool and tennis courts.

We booked Bonanza Park because of a nice green garden and normal spacious bathrooms. But they put us up in their neighboring hotel (Bonanza Palace - very uncomfortable bathrooms and not for families with children for sure!!) without our permission and didn't even think to consider our wishes - there weren't many of them - a bigger balcony with a nice view - no matter the garden or the sea. The main thing is not a wall. In the end, they put us up in a neighboring hotel with a small balcony and a view to the neighboring balcony' wall. They called it an upgrade. In fact, the hotel we booked simply didn't work! The reservations department was rude to us when we tried to fix the situation. Our vacation was ruined and we left with an unpleasant aftertaste that we were brazenly deceived. We will never come back here again - the attitude of the staff is disgusting! I hope my review reaches the management!

Very good hotel, located not too far from the city (about 20-30 minutes by bus) and close to the sea (5 minutes on foot). One great thing about this hotel is that you get access to the spa area at Bonanza Playa, which is right across the street. The value for money is much better at Bonanza Park compared to Playa. The service (cleaning / restaurant ) was OK. However, the room cleaning service could be improved (sometimes they forget to restock toilet paper or refill shampoo).

During a two-week stay, this only happened once, so it was still very acceptable (hence the 4 stars).

I recommand this hotel for a couple!

Stayed here for four nights, the staff are friendly, quiet area, not much street noise or noise from other rooms. Location is great with private beaches, mini marts and restaurants within walking distance. Bus stop right outside hotel. Catch number 4 for 2euro each into Palma about 30 mins. They come every 10-15minutes. Breakfast buffet is great so much choice. Grounds are well kept, nice view from our sea view room, two pools, mini golf all well kept. Room was comfy and clean. Do note that the AC only works when the balcony door is shut. The only small downsides to note are that toilet roll was not topped up on room services, we asked for an iron which arrived quickly but wasn't working and there is a place to top up your water bit it's hidden in the luggage room and we feel this could have been more easily accessible and visible. We would stay here again.

It was a week holiday for me and my husband. A good experience, the hotel is good with a perfect service all the staff is at your service and smiling all the time a special thank you Stefano 👍 the receptionist who we saw the first day we arrived he was really nice and helpful as well as carolina 😘 the bar waitress a hard working and joyful lady. The breakfast was taken at the hotel it self a good variety , nice and clean. They have two swimming pool enough sunbeds and towels with a bar where you can have lunch, snacks and drinks. Where as dinner is across the road at bonanza playa hotel, the restaurant has a nice view on the sea with a good service and a very big choice of food. The beach is not that easy to access for families with kids as it's a beach with rocks no sand but different nice little sand beaches at walking distance. The negative point if I have to tell you about one is the cleaning which we feel that it has been done very quickly could be done better.

Excellent friendly & helpful front desk staff. Rooms cleaned everyday by lovely ladies.
The food was very good with plenty of choice. We thought it was really bad that drinking water was not offered at the tables with your meal, expensive bottle water was the only option.
