Reviews
There is direct bus from the airport to the hotel (bus stop it 2minutes walk).
Generally nice hotel located close to the beach, local shops and restaurants, but if you are looking for calm and relaxing accommodation, look elsewhere.
Food below average, everyday the same stuff:
- For breakfast watery baked beans, some eggs, sliced cheeses and sandwich meats, chopped veggies.
- For lunch and dinner dry meats drawn in sauce, which in fact didn’t help to hide how poorly made the food was, chips, mash potatoes, vegetables and salads.
Nothing of the food was ever seasoned.
It seemed that the meals were supposed to be adapted to the English part of the guests, but I heard that even they complained.
During our 10nights stay, I believe, only once there was a themed cuisine, and food then was actually very nice.
Restaurant maintained very clean. Still, we ended up eating outside the hotel.
Due to the new laws 3 alcoholic beverages were provided during the lunch and dinner. Any additional needs to be pay for. For me not really all inclusive, but I don’t blame hotel here.
No free access to the coffee or tea, it’s provided at the bar and often it was necessary to queue up.
I don't recommend it, simply because of the terrible food.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, with the receptionists being especially helpful and enthusiastic, particularly the Hungarian lady. One suggestion for the management would be to reconsider the breakfast offerings. It felt as though the hotel had sacrificed its culinary heritage for Western tourists, as I rarely came across traditional Spanish dishes, which was a shame. I believe tourists would appreciate the chance to explore local flavours. However, I should note we didn’t try the dinner, which might have included these.
Overall, I was happy with the hotel and would recommend it, even though the weather during our stay wasn’t ideal.
We ended up having to swap rooms due to the ceiling leaking in the bedroom after a storm.
Service/people was probably the best bit, can't really fault any of the staff there.
I wouldn't rate this place If you're travelling with kids, no entertainment on an evening, no kids club.
The breakfast is the better meal but some of this is served cold and burnt.
The rooms are spacious but shabby and the cleaning team do not clean! The beds are rock hard and for some reason our third bed was not even made when we arrived at 2am!
The pool does not open until 10am so you are not even allowed out there to enjoy the morning sun before this time. Many of the sun beds are in the shade so if you want a sun bed in the sun at 10am, you have to do an Olympic sprint to secure one.
We booked before the law changed on the 1st June so we were not privy to the full all inclusive (no one thought to mention this) and we were not even asked if we wanted to upgrade when we arrived (we wouldn’t have bothered and preferred to spend our money in the resort). Frankly this is a three star hotel at best and the price should reflect this. Would not recommend and will not be returning!
No scrambling over pool chairs in the morning!
The rooms have a safe and fridge but they need a kettle, TV had quite a few English channels and clean towels provided everyday.
Just wish we had a sign on the door to ask the cleaning team to change bedsheets.
Lots of choice for breakfast and dinner including soft drinks. Alcohol had to be bought at the bar but you do need to spend a Euro for a cup when by the pool area.
Lots of friendly staff and happy attitude every day.
Really lovely stay x
The only thing there was no entertinment or pool aerobics or anything like that.
Two nice pool areas but i did not like the fact you can buy your drinks with card but in the
same transaction you had to pay 1 euro by cash only for your plastic cups. But i did love it and recommend it as well about seven mins from the beach .
We eventually were able to go to our rooms. It was late so we dropped off our cases and went out for food. We went in the lift, and immediately the lift broke. It was extremely hot and cramped, we rang the alarm several times and had to eventually force the door open ourselves. The next morning we paid for our safe and it failed to work. We spoke to reception 3 times, rang them many more times before eventually somebody fixed it.
Following this, our expectations were very low. We were surprised at how the hotel certainly improved from then.
The room was clean, and good quality (apart from the air con). Great balcony. Fantastic pools, always with sun beds available any time of day.
We booked half board. The food was satisfactory. The breakfast always had plenty of choice and dinner was okay.
Most staff were helpful and polite but overall the customer service definitely needs improving.
The room and location did lead to an enjoyable stay overall.
The air conditioning in the rooms is almost like a small Eskimo blowing down a straw, and the fridge in the room actually makes things hotter, possibly another scandal to buy overpriced flat beer. Don’t forget to pay the deposit on the plastic cups, or the staff will just ignore you and demand a ransom for the release of a small plastic cup.
If the hotel was labeled more along the lines of a prisoner of war experience center, I would be giving this a 5-star review.
Overall, the staff was rude, but the pool staff would be at the top of the list.
Cleanliness was average.
The only thing hotter than the lifts is the sun.
Thanks for having us, really enjoyed it.
Air con is no good, best of leaving balcony doors open…
Decent location very close to all the ‘night life’ which is great if you’re interested in that.
Food is typical hotel food but very good breakfast.
Decent week away from work but probably wouldn’t come back personally!!
