Reviews
I think the place should be deep cleaned daily and the pools definitely.
The staff was nice and you can tell they work every hard.
I would pay less to stay.
The rooms are large enough with 2 large beds in a bedroom and 2 sofa bed style in the living area (with a 3rd available as a pull out from under one of the sofa beds).
There’s a small fridge and a tv.
The bathroom has a shower and a hairdryer along with usual bathroom stuff.
The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided too.
The restaurant is a typical Spanish All Inclusive restaurant. The food is good and plenty available, yes it’s not Michelin star quality but you won’t go hungry.
There are a number of bars in the day time but only 2 at night. The queue can look long but the longest we waited was about 10 minutes.
There are a number of pools and in my opinion they need work. Missing tiles in the pools and loose concrete around them too. Also the filtration system needs an overhaul as there are tide marks around the pool and the water can be cloudy.
The pool with the bouncy hump is very noisy with lifeguards constantly blowing whistles and no one listening.
The slides are a good extra too, we aware of the height restrictions. 1m 20cm for the smaller ones, 1m 50cm for the 2 biggest ones.
Also the fire alarm system needs looking at as it does randomly sound for 1-2 seconds at anytime day or night. It also went off for longer durations (minutes) with no action from any staff. It’s a worry if there is a genuine fire how long action would take.
I would say it was a good 3 star hotel but not a 4 star.
Most of the staff are really helpful and friendly.
Cleaning staff are great! Room was cleaned daily and the cleaning staff were helpful when we had an issue on our room.
Food was plentiful, some of it lacking in seasoning, but on the whole good.
The only issue we had was a leaking ceiling in the suite bathroom, it took quite a few days to fix and the bathroom was like a river, luckily we used to waste bin to collect the water until it was fixed, around 5 days later.
I would come to the resort again with smaller children and younger teens.
If you have a later flight you will need to leave your luggage in the hotel luggage room. There are lockers that cost €2 each time you open them. If you don’t have a €2 coin you may be in trouble. The hotel reception staff were not that helpful and it took a bit of a stressful conversation to finally get a token in exchange for 2 x €1. It shouldn’t be like that and definitely made for a slightly stressful time for my daughter who was trying to exchange the Money for a token.
Expectations? I suppose it depends on what kind of person you are. A family holiday for me it is to have a good time and expect a few problems along the way.
I found this very difficult to choose between 2 or 3 stars.
*Location - Can't complain at all. Close to shops and the main strip with BCM literally next door. The closet beach is just of the strip and you can enjoy some amazing walks around the coast through Palma Nova and beyond.
*Rooms - Very basic. Had a hostel like feel to them. You get beds, shower toilet and a balcony with table and chairs. There is a fridge in the room.
The beds were quite comfortable, but you only get one pillow each and a sheet. There were four people in our room and we only had two blankets between us.
*Food - Same breakfast everyday. Quite poor quality even for a party style hotel. The lunch and dinner was mixed up across the few days with salad always on offer and a variation of different hot dishes. Pasta and sauce was available for all lunches and dinners.
*Drinks - So...quite controversial as they were only available in an orange plastic beaker they they give you a token for when you check in and then you keep the cup with you. If you lose it, you need to pay 1 Euro for another one. The actual drinks themselves are certainly not all inclusive unless you are at the restaurant at lunch and dinner and want beer, wine or sangria. You are looking at 3 Euros for a beaker (about 300ml) of Estrella and cocktails were 6 Euros.
*Service - Very rushed and treated like cattle at check in. Surprised to have to pay 30 Euros each in CASH ONLY per person upon arrival. It is 2022 and post COVID where nearly everyone has got used to being cash free so this caused a problem for a few.
*Activities - The pools are great. Very clean and several to choose from. No shortage of sunbeds either as these are everywhere! The slides are only open for a couple of hours each day, although there were rarely any queues. There is a gym to use outside with mainly weigh machines but there are some cross trainers.
Overall - If you are looking for a fairly cheap option (and it needs to be given the price of drinks on the strip!) and you plan to not be in the hotel much other than the pool. Then it's ok..
Would any of the 10 of us stay there again or recommend it for Stags or Hens that we know? No, we wouldn't due to the lack of 'All Inclusive' on an 'All Inclusive' holiday.
My partner and I have had the best 5 days!
Food- Each day there was something different available. We loved trying new things and felt they put a lot of effort in to make sure there was something for all dietary requirements.
Rooms- Simple but clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and towels and bedding were changed daily.
Pool areas - you have many options available, all were lovely and plenty of sunbeds.
Outdoor Gym - AMAZING!!! The equipment is looked after and monitored each day. Massive fans are on also whilst you work out.
Drink allowance - options could have been better - beer, wine and Prosecco. You could buy more at the bars though.
Overall, we had the most amazing time and gutted we only booked for 5 days! We will definitely be coming back!
Very big, there’s a few different pools within the hotel, along with slides.
The room was good, it had 4 beds in total. The bathroom was good too, nice large space. The balcony view wasn’t too good, it faced the outside area, and it wasn’t good for sleeping as you had all the noise from outside, there’s bars outside that don’t close till 5/6am. So you’d have to listen to all the drunks coming out LOL.
It wasn’t that much of an issue, but if you’re looking for a quiet trip away, this isn’t the place for you. It’s more for younger people who like to party.
If you go all inclusive there’s decent food served, you get free soft drinks all day.
3 beers/wine per meal. That’s down to the government, not the hotel.
All in all, it was a good stay.
You have the beach close by, just a 5min walk, and there is plenty of shops and bars outside. You don’t have to walk far for stuff.
