Good pool area ,rooms are nice with good air con. The bar q’s weren’t an issue as other reviews stated. The food at the hotel was average and as a result we ate out a few times. Breakfast was good and some dinners better than others. The Mexican night was the best. Was served raw pork chop from the hot plate and the hygiene on this station was questionable. Pool bar glasses all cracked and dirty so had to buy a flask. Staff work very hard as some areas under staffed. Staff all very friendly. Adult entertainment was poor and more kids focused. Unfortunately wouldn’t return to this hotel.

Great hotel for families, lots of activities for both, entertainment team are amazing, good choice of food each night, only critique would be they need more staff in more bar. This was our second visit and I’m sure we will be back again, big shout out to Tina aka Danni

All staff brilliant, hotel lovely and entertainment team always give 100% effort all day everyday! Been to this hotel twice and would return , a great holiday for families. Close to the centre of playa blanca too.

No higher than 3* resort. Dated. Old tiled floor that looked grubby and dirty. Aircon didn’t work in the bedroom even after someone came to take a look - to then be told I’m not using it correctly. Back door is loose even when locked. TV hanging on the wall was loose. Bathroom was old and grubby. Dirty crevices on wall by aircon. Cockroaches in room. Dead one under the bed.

After reading some reviews on Facebook we were a bit apprehensive about having booked, We had a lovely stay at this hotel, we were a party of 13, with children ranging from 1 - 11 yrs. The pool area was mostly clean, didnt expect to have to put towel down on sun bed to reserve but as usual people out at silly o'clock. The hotel does state that this is not allowed but there was no one to enforce this rule. Some people not using the beds until the pm. The children really enjoyed the pools especially the slide. Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily, bed was really comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. Would like a mirror over dressing table but thats personnal choice. The food in the restaurant could be a bit hit & miss. Breakfast always good but sometimes the lunch and dinner not much choice and other days plenty of choice. Children always ate well. Only went to one night of entertainment, which was a music quiz, but if you knew the answer you had to run to the front of stage, bit hard if you're at the back, the people at the front always getting there first. We gave the entertainment a miss after that and preferred to sit in bar or a walk into playa blanca. Staff were always polite and friendly.

The entire experience was excellent from the welcome to the departure. Greeted on arrival and made aware of the facilities and directed to our accommodation. The accomodation was a mini villa, fully air conditioned and spotless. Was within walking distance of the pool bar and spent most of our days there. The pool staff were excellent and more than happy to assist with any enquiries. The pool bar had daily entertainment with drink displays and all encouraged to join in, so a big shout out to all involved. The main dining area was well set out and the choice of food on a daily basis was excellent, covering all tastes and all easily accessible with service from the staff being of high quality. Breakfast was also served in the main dining area and was also of a high standard. The resort offers a choice of bars, with a wide range of drinks and snacks. It is situated only 15 minutes from the town and is easy to walk to or you can use the shuttle bus provided by the resort. From reception to meals to drink and cleanliness, along with the excellent attitude of all the staff an unbeatable 10 out of 10, well done Elba Lanzarote Royal Village Resort.

Family Trip – July 2025 We travelled as a family of four (2 adults, a 6‑year‑old and a 1‑year‑old) in July 2025. While we enjoyed spending quality time together in Lanzarote, we were disappointed with the hotel overall and feel it is definitely not 4‑star standard. The communal and pool areas were generally dirty. Around the pools, plates, cups and paper cups were often left lying for days without being cleared away, which made the whole area feel unclean. Room cleaning was also poor – for example, glasses left outside our room stayed there for the entire week. The air conditioning in the main building was very poor and made it uncomfortable at times. Meal times were hectic, with dirty tables left uncleared and no drinks service to tables – apart from dinner and you have to get your own. The food was of low quality, so we ended up going out for dinner on several occasions despite being all‑inclusive. As others have said, the staff themselves were generally pleasant, but the hotel is clearly very understaffed. This resulted in long queues at the bars and slow service. Additionally, you have to pay extra for the room safe and leave a deposit for towels, which is not what you expect from a 4‑star hotel. We had a lovely family holiday thanks to the destination itself, but sadly we would not return to this hotel.

I would not recommend this hotel. The pool area was nice and rooms are spacious, HOWEVER, all 7 of us in our group became ill and sick which when speaking to others around the pool, lots of other families were experiencing. The cot mattress for our youngest child had sick stains on it. When rooms were cleaned they removed the towels and didn’t replace them, when calling reception it took over an hour for towels to be delivered. This happened 3 of the 7 nights we were there. The food was poor - little selection, cold and even fewer selection for children. They were also slow to replace the food. When going to the bar you could only get 2 alcoholic drinks at a time, were were all include and this was annoying when there were 4 adults in our party so 2 people had to go to the bar each time to get one drink each. It also took 20 minutes to queue to get a drink in the day and in the evening, they had limited staff so everything took so long to get. We have been to numerous all inclusive hotels and this is the worst by far. Not worth the money.

The hotel needs deep clean.. Everything has been used and used and used...shortage of staff, glasses, spoons and so on. Entertainment poor. Cleaners can't clean...We bought our own sprays and cloths just to keep our suit somewhat clean. Kids mascot Pepe is so dirty its disguisting...
