I stayed at this hotel with my partner, daughter and 2 sisters. We had 2 rooms booked at half board. We are normal working class people who save up to have our annual holiday. We decided to book a package via TUI. The hotel is rated a four star and as we normally book three star, we were really looking forward to it and the hotel had some really good reviews. Oh how disappointed we were. Whilst the hotel has all the grandeur of a four star hotel with a lavish foyer and reception areas, the buck stops there. On arriving, we found the reception staff to be very abrupt. Given the flight time, we had to wait over 2 hours to check in. When we did get to our room, there was a maintenance man still there trying to fix the wardrobes so the doors would close and he had also been in the bathroom filling in the side of the bath with a horrendous smelling filler that lingered for about an hour. We unpacked and went to the pool. The sun terraces are very spacious and well maintained and the pool is nice but there's one slide for kids. That evening we went down for dinner. The tables were not laid and we literally had to ask for someone to provide cutlery so we could eat. We were made to feel like we were an inconvenience. The food was abysmal. Empty dishes and what was there was cold and inedible. The kids area had 4 items and my daughter didn't eat anything. Staff stretched over you to take plates away and one evening actually stood behind us waiting on us to finish (there was still an hour of dinner service remaining). At the same time another staff member was cleaning tables and setting out cups and saucers. When I say setting out, she was throwing them on to the table. Whilst the breakfast had more to offer, there was still the issue of no tables set and extremely rude staff. I really cannot stress the rudeness enough. One morning I had to wait ten minutes for a jug of milk to be brought out to put on my cereal. 1 litre was brought out for a hotel full of people. After breakfast on our first morning, we came back to our room to find the bath infested with ants. They were on the walls, in the bath and crawling all over our toiletries. We spoke to a number of families around the pool area and all complained about how bad the food was and most of them were all inclusive and said their kids didn't eat either. One lady said that people on half board changed to lunch instead of dinner because the food was better at that time. We tried to change and were told that three days in a row, the restaurant was fully booked. Not only were we going out to lunch, we also had to pay to eat dinner out just to get some decent food. We saved hard enough to go on holiday and now we had to pay out more. The bar was another story and rudeness of staff here was on a different level. My sister was ordering a drink, the barman kept speaking over her and then started to shout at her asking how many waters she wanted, obviously my nine year old wa

Great location, minutes walk to beach, restaurants, marina and town. Great value, professional and friendly staff, spotlessly clean. Fab pool area and restaurants on site. Great choice of food at the breakfast and dinner buffet. Spacious balconies with great views.

The hotel and room where very nice and clean, we found on odd occasion the food was not great , breakfasts where fine, but some evening meals where not up to their usual standard. As this was our diamond wedding anniverssary (60 years) .we had cholates and carvar in our room on arrival ( nice touch) . Overall we enjoyed our stay Staff were very nice . Thank you

We had a fabulous family holiday at H10 Lanzarote Princess. The hotel is perfectly located a 10 minute walk from the centre of Playa Blanca and 5 minutes from the nearest beach (Playa Dorada). The facilities were excellent and met all our needs for fun and entertainment for the kids and adults alike. The variety of pools and sun tearrace areas was ideal. The rooms were very comfortable, well furnished and cleaned every day. We stayed all-inclusive and the restaurants were great with a super choice of food and the bars served premium drinks. The staff kindly reserved a table each night for the 14 of us! We hope to come back soon to enjoy another super holiday there.

This hotel is one of the nicest we’ve stayed in. Room 1012 was clean, spacious, fresh towels daily, beds comfortable and quite big… The products in the bathroom were lovely, even tried their shampoo and conditioner, it smelt like the white company products that the Crowne plaza hotels use in the UK… The mini bar in the room lasted us the week, nice touch. Room was not pool facing but didn’t bother us, the terrace was shaded but meant the room stayed cool and the air con was great! There was a low pitched humming noise but you could only hear it when the door was open, not sure if we were above the kitchen area or if it was fair? My one niggle with room was the shower head wasn’t the greatest… Vintage Bar was great on an evening with “proper” drinks, soft drinks were glass bottles and they had branded spirits… it fills up though, so can be hard to get a seat, we did sit at the end of bar and they frequently came and asked if we were ready for another drink… there was also some bar snacks there if you get there early enough. Mikes coffee shop was a lovely little touch, we tried a few things on the menu and all were good! Definitely recommend the smoothie or iced coffee to keep you cool. But on an evening this was then used as an outdoor bar, as the other bar was closed… but we didn’t like the drinks from there. Cactus snack bar was a great touch. Personally I feel some AI get it wrong with a snack bar but this one didn’t disappoint. Aside from never having the veggie sandwich…and they could have a veggie burger option…. Or plain pizza. But the cheese bites, onion rings and chips went down well after a swim or sunbathe. The pool bar seemed to struggle when it got busy. I think it needed two members of staff really at all times. Now to the main event… the food! This hotel has seemingly been getting a bad rep for the food. While I agree improvements can be made, there was always something to eat. We are a family with a veggie, pescatarian and carnivore… we always found something. It was heaven for the carnivore… fresh meat on the grill every night… a lot of dishes had meat in it. I would say the one thing this hotel missed out on was just a plain pizza for lunch or evening meal, always seemed to have some pizza with meat on it… and a plain paella, the veggie one definitely had meat in it. We witnessed some other guests arguing with waiting staff about the drink wait time. I mean the staff were over worked and on short supply. I think management need to rethink that strategy a little. Get one designated person to take drinks per section. And at breakfast have another option for hot water, as the coffee machines seemed to break often. We ended up using hot water and the coffee sachets provided. We only booked the Italian restaurant during our stay and it was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the dining hall. But unfortunately the Japanese had no veggie option so we didn’t book there. It’s a long one. But felt I needed

From the outside and in the reception the hotel looks grand but unfortunately there were a lot of things which let it down. AI was not worth it as we ate out most of the time due to the sheer volume of people in the restaurant and no tables getting cleared, food not getting replenished and cold. We were in a room overlooking the fair which carried on until midnight with loud ‘boom boom’ music which we suffered for 3 nights before asking to be moved, we were moved to the other side of the hotel. Best sleep in a few days but then woke to find ants along the wall and the TV didn’t work, again complained to reception, which was sorted but still had the odd one crawling about and the TV was replaced the day before we left. Rooms were clean but outdated and the beds comfortable. Sun beds cannot be reserved but you were lucky to find an empty one around midday, plenty of room around the pools but the best was the indoor one although it was full of kids who were ‘learning’ to swim so not very relaxing. Overall the hotel is in a good location and close to the resort centre and beach but I won’t be returning.

Our stay at the hotel had a mix of highs and lows. On the positive side, the hotel itself is beautiful and very close to the beach, as well as the rest of Playa Blanca, which made getting around really easy. The reception staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel welcome right away. We really enjoyed the vintage bar acts in the evenings, and Mike’s Coffee Shop quickly became one of our favourite spots. The food at the Cactus Bar was good, though the experience was let down by long wait times and staff who came across as quite rude. We also noticed that on some days, a few of our favourite food options weren’t available at the Cactus Bar and weren’t replaced with alternatives, which was disappointing. A standout moment of our trip was the Code Red act, which performed only once while we were there—it was hands down the best entertainment of the holiday. That said, there were a few aspects that really took away from the experience. When we first arrived in our room, we noticed a bucket and spade left at the top of the wardrobe. It was a small thing, but it suggested the room hadn’t been properly cleaned before we got there. Our room was also at the front of the hotel, right across from a fair that we hadn’t been told about. The noise from it was extremely loud and often went on until 1am, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The queues at the bars were consistently long and clearly needed more staff to keep things moving. We were also really disappointed with the food in the main restaurant during the evenings. We’re not fussy eaters, but we often struggled to find anything we fancied. The children’s pizza had tuna on it every night, which was odd, and many dishes weren’t labelled properly so it was hard to know what we were eating. Food was often cold and not replaced regularly, which was a shame. On a couple of occasions, there was even a bird flying around the dessert section—definitely not ideal, especially for someone who’s afraid of birds. Unfortunately, we also found that many of the staff, apart from those at reception, came across as quite rude. We weren’t sure if it was due to our age, but it left a bad impression nonetheless. All in all, we made the best of our holiday and enjoyed what we could. Playa Blanca itself is a lovely area and great for families with young children, as there’s plenty to do. However, for younger adults like ourselves, it felt like there wasn’t as much on offer.

Visited this hotel after hearing great reviews. However, it wasn’t as good as we hoped it to be. Firstly, Location is brilliant! Hotel is fantastic in some areas and poor in others. Reception, Lobby Bar and Pool areas are lovely. The issues we had were the staff, dining and entertainment. At meal times the staff were not welcoming, looked unhappy and were unhelpful. Just asking for a drink seemed to be a problem. No doubt they work hard but there needs to be more staff to cater for the amount of people. There was just one older lady in the buffet restaurant who had a smile on her face and was happy to help. Food replenishment took ages (especially the popular items) and people were queuing every day for far longer then they should have. One night nothing was labelled so no one knew what they were eating and asking the chef was delt by him just walking away from the situation. The entertainment is also very poor (apart from lobby bar with live music) we went out most nights but then that defeats the object of going All Inclusive. Pools are very cold. Rooms/bathrooms need updating, but cleaners do work hard cleaning them everyday. Sadly we wouldn’t return as we honestly just felt very unwelcome. We’ve been to many other hotels in Lanzarote that have much better quality and service for a 4* hotel.

What a shame. Nice hotel, chaotic evening dinner. On a regular basis, no plates, empty food stations, endless queues. Would benefit with 2 sittings, the staff work hard but can't cope with large numbers.Everything about the hotel is good, Management need to look at this and things would be perfect.
