Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort

This is probably the best hotel we have stayed in in any of the Canary Islands. The check in was quick and pleasant and we got a high suite with a pool view which we requested. They made my wife’s birthday special by leaving a card, banner and lovely cake in the room. Everything about the hotel and overall experience was exceptional. Staff were polite, friendly and hard working. The hotel is spotless throughout and in an excellent position to explore the whole resort. We will definitely return asap.

Another lovely stay at this hotel, beautiful rooms and friendly helpful staff. We find the location midway between the harbour and the marina is excellent. The hotel is kept very clean with well maintained gardens.
We enjoy the buffet meals with their enormous choice and freshly cooked fish and meats so haven’t tried the other restaurants on site.
We will certainly be returning in the future and would recommend it to others.

We were seriously impressed with our stay. There is a huge amount to love about this hotel, but I need to start with the staff because they are what truly make the experience.
A huge shout-out to Santos, who was seriously wonderful to us and Sonny. He was so friendly, kind, full of energy, and genuinely welcoming, we actually felt quite sad when it was time to leave! Elaina was also really wonderful, always greeting us with a beaming smile and being so attentive. And the energy from Attie and Pablo was incredible. The whole team's friendliness and spirit are exceptional.
The Kids Club and soft play are a fantastic feature. It gave us a few hours to have our own headspace, and every time we picked up our child, they were having a wonderful time, even on the day they arrived a little out of sorts.
The entire place is immaculate, really beautifully presented, with a huge selection of pools. The rooms are clean, roomy, and have all the amenities you would need.
If I had to offer one small piece of constructive feedback, the food in the pool restaurant is a little lacking. Also, there might be an opportunity for the on-site ice cream place to offer a few more savory snacks.
Overall, a truly wonderful and five star stay, thank you for making this such a memorable holiday for us.

Our 7th or 8th visit to the Yaiza. This hotel just ticks all the boxes for us. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble, their aim is to give everyone the best holiday experience. The food this year was better than ever with themed meals on many evenings.
We had a junior suite which is so spacious with a high level of cleanliness which was obvious throughout the hotel.
We look forward to future visits to the Yaiza.

We stayed for 10 days and were impressed by the beautiful location, very good food and style of the hotel. All of the stuff members were friendly and courteous.

Absolutely stunning hotel with quirky charm beautiful decor and honestly the nicest hotel in the Canary Islands. The check-in process was slick and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. The lobby is sensational and common areas are generously appointed and luxurious. We stayed in a duplex room in block B with two adults and two children. It was absolutely huge love the fact that there was extra space for the slightly older kids with their own bathroom upstairs. The view from the balcony looked all the way over to Fuerta Ventura and although some say the decor is tired it’s really well maintained and has a sort of 90s charm to it far better than some of these Love Island look alike Sterile hotels that pop up like the big Barceló. Servicing of the room was fantastic with plenty of towels turned down service very clean no issues. The hotel doesn’t offer all inclusive and we just did bed and breakfast as we like to eat out. A downside is probably they’re although the buffet breakfast is incredible it’s not easy to grab lunch at lunchtime and can be quite expensive but you aren’t far from the local bars or the beach bar just outside the gates which we highly recommend and to be honest, it wasn’t an issue for us. For breakfast, do you have the option of three big buffet restaurants. All saving the same thing but in different environments. We recommend Hacienda it does open slightly later and only serves 9 to 1030 but the restaurant ambience is so much better. You honestly couldn’t want more for breakfast the choice was sensational quality brilliant and consistent. We never had an issue getting into the Hacienda restaurant the only thing I’d say at breakfast as it was frustrating you couldn’t actually just get a coffee anywhere as the bar doesn’t open until 11 am and sometimes I just wanted to grab a coffee before breakfast. Just be aware when booking that the Family suites are located under a tunnel on the other side of the road we didn’t want that so made sure not to book it but I can imagine some people put get put there without realising it. For younger kids, there is the family suites area and there is also kids world on the other side of the hotel we didn’t venture there. In the main part of the hotel, there are two pools on tiered levels. Both are really large the upper one is heated and freshwater. Where is the lower pool is saltwater and really refreshing. The lower pool tends to be quieter and has a more adult vibe you can’t use inflatables on the lower pool. In terms of towels you get given a card each at the beginning of your stay and you swap them for beach towels whenever you want. You just must make sure you hand those cards back at the end or you’ll get charged. We just swapped towels each day really big no problem and you’re also allowed to use them on the beach. As a family with two very young children we had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The whole hotel is very well run, relaxing and enjoyable. The only negatives: one of us had food poisoning for a couple of days and we think from the fish in the buffet. It is cooked live but before it is left to sit on a plate and seems to be at room temperature, same with the meats. This put us off having certain foods for the rest of our stay. Also with the buffet restaurants, staff are absurdly quick to clear your plates. Countless times we took kids to get ice cream etc and returned to find our plates cleared and dinner taken away. They really need to slow down on clearing plates, it made us feel rushed. The entertainment is poor - the kids minidisco is very repetitive and no creativity at all. The shows later in the evening were very basic and low budget. But I guess many guests arent choosing the hotel for entertainment so the hotel invest less into this aspect. The pool areas are fantastic and our kids had a great time. We found the main pool area with two small pools for toddlers the best. We visited the family block a couple of times but found it quite crowded. The aquasplash hour was pretty dull and staff failed to control some more boisterous children. The kids activity area was also quite flat - not the experience we expected from the website that makes a big fuss of this area. Overall we found the room excellent (suite), service very good and most of the food high quality, if a little repetitive. The whole complex is a pleasure to stroll around and the beachfront is really enjoyable to take in. Thank you to all the staff for an enjoyable stay.

We have been to this hotel many times, and it gets better every time. Its always clean and well kept. The chocolates on the pillow every night are a fantastic treat for the kids as well. i want to give a special mention to Carla and Nicole in the animation team who were absolutely great with my kids and really fun and kind to us. Also, Tony is in the restaurant, and Maykal the chef. These guys went above and beyond to help make our stay pleasant. And also, helped me with my Spanish, as I have been trying to learn this year. Also, 2 lads in Giovanni's restaurant went above and beyond to make our meal special. Genis and Moha Junior. Not forgetting Anthony the pool lifegaurd, who found our float that the girls lost round the pool! Plus he would also come over and say hello to us every day. All in all, it was a fantastic and we defo will be back next year. Thanks for all your great service and Nos vemos el ano que viene!!!

An amazing experience. Since the moment we arrived, until the very last day everything was taken care to the detail. The reception, the room service, the facilities, the swimming pools, … All exceptional. The animation team and the people at the kitchen deserve an extra mention.
