Rooms are OK depending on the number of people you have with you, we had a broken toilet when we arrived however this was quickly fixed. The cleaners were around most days apart from Sundays, always helpful and did a good job. The location is €5 in a taxi to the marina or 15/20 min walk. Lots of pools to choose from, the water is on the cooler side but you get used to it quickly. Lots of sunbeds available and entertainment throughout the day/night. Clean resort, food and drink available and a small supermarket

Me, my husband and 6 children came and stayed at Tropical Island in June. I honestly cannot express how amazing out 2 week all inclusive holiday was. There is not one bad point I could even say. My children absolutely loved the evening mini disco & kids club throughout the day. We met Patricia, who my whole family absolutely adored! All the staff we came across, especially Patricia (the management) and Raquel (entertainment) were absolutely amazing! They went out of there way to speak to me and the children everyday! I would love to get hold of Patricia, if anyone knows how I could contact her? We could not fault anything about this holiday in anyway!!

Had a few issues with the room. The staff were very helpful though and sorted all.our issues out very quickly. The kitchen is not really suitable for self catering though! There is quite a walk to the seafront but taxis are quite cheap to get there and back. The entertainment and kids club staff were brilliant especially with the kids.

I went for a short break with my husband at this hotel and I must say it was one of the best holidays we had (unfortunately was quite short). I enjoy delicious food and I must say the food was amazing. Beautiful garden where to have a walk and lot of facilities (swimming pools, spa, everything you need). I must say I will go back to this hotel at one point in life. 🩵 Highly recommend it!

Brilliant adult pool. Great service from the bar staff.
Could do with a bit of an update, ceiling in our bathroom had been patched up, as had the bath from chips.bridge over the adult pool needs attention. Only 1 restaurant was open instead of the 4 advertised. Modt of the bars were closed.Was a good 20 minute walk from town/beach

Brilliant family resort,lots to do. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the maid service is great; always clean towels and toilet roll. The staff a really helpful and friendly and the food is delicious with lots of choice and tables always available. The pools and grounds are Brilliant and always kept clean and well looked after and the splash park is good fun. There was only 1 criticism I could make and that was the music at the main pool was repetitive but that aside it was the best family resort we have stayed at

Really enjoyed staying here. Apartment was clean and spacious for our family and there was a playground right outside door which kids were made up with. We went in the winter so the pools were absolutely freezing and could do with being heated. We used the small puddle pools. Small splash park also very good. Not far from main town and reception will order taxi if you ask. Buffet breakfast was nice and had a large variety to choose from.

We had a fantastic stay, staff were lovely, amazing facilities. they really have thought about everything you need to have a lovely holiday so you don't even need to leave the hotel. Would recommend for anyone to stay as it's very close to the beach.

We had a lovely short break here. The receptionists were efficient and friendly. The room was good problem with ants they gave us spray but my daughter suffered from bites which got infected. However it didn't stop us from enjoying what I believe to be an excellent family resort my grandson was never bored and the splash zone was good. The only downside to it is the location I had to hire a scooter as I have difficulty walking far but the roads are really nice so gad no problem. If your young it's maybe 20 mins to town.

Middle of the road stay, everything was fine, you get what you pay for. We were looking forward to the spa, but I'd give that a miss, a bit unkempt and dated. There are plenty of pools to swim in and I should imagine lots for kids to do, little water slides, smaller pools, soccer pitches, kids entertainment.
I can't comment on the dining facilities as we didn't use them, we ate out every night. All in all I'd say a 7 out of 10.
