The hotel provided excellent service during my stay.
Upon arrival on Wednesday evening, I encountered two minor issues: the safe in my room (264) would not open, and the balcony door would not close properly. I promptly contacted the reception, and a maintenance team was dispatched to address the problems immediately.
While the view from my balcony overlooked workers engaged in hotel maintenance, this did not pose any inconvenience.
The only area where improvement could be made is the dining room. It was consistently crowded, and occasionally the food was served cold or the serving dishes were empty.
On my last day, I inadvertently locked myself in the restroom and was unable to open the door. After knocking on the door and calling for help, a staff member promptly arrived and assisted me in opening the door by firmly pushing down on the handle. Although I felt somewhat embarrassed, the hotel staff handled the situation efficiently and professionally.
Overall, I had a positive experience at the hotel and commend the staff for their prompt and effective response to any issues that arose.

I was afraid that the hotel had no good beach or sea view, but I was surprised that it has a great 45-degree view from the balcony to the best beach troya. I visited other beaches, they are rocky, and many hotels are not direct to the beach. You must walk more than 15 min to reach good sandy beach but not with Alexander Hotel troya from there you just cross the street, and it is surrounded by shops and active areas. You will not feel bored outside or inside the hotel. I don't think that we will choose another hotel next time.

spent almost a whole week in the hotel and i would go back any time.
the location of the hotel is really good, 20-25 mins max from the airport by bus/car, 3m max from the beach and absolutely 1m from the street/shops/bars/etc.
there are 2 bigger pools outside, a bar, a stage for entertainment at nights and lots of places to sit or lay down.
towels for the sunbeds can be obtained through the reception, for deposit of 15 euro / piece.
the service and the staff were super great, always polite and helpful, so hereby i thank all of them for the handling once more. :)
had half board, so i always had breakfast and dinner. the dinner was amazing all the time, had different meals every day; they gave me a challenge to try and taste lots of different things - so the dinners were absolutely awesome!
the breakfast were a little bit tricky, there i could see some improvements. (like not starting making fresh fried eggs only at 0730)
the pools and the rooms were clean, rooms were got cleaned every day.
(one more downside about the location: especially after the weekends if you go out early, you can see trash on the street, as youngsters cannot use the trashcans.:( not the hotel's fault though!! the space which they manage were always clean and they have guards btw:))

My wife and I had an amazing experience, we loved the room and the maids were very nice and helpful.
The air conditioning was not working and a very nice girl came right away and fixed it quickly. We had a nice conversation. The buffet has very varied food and the spa is small but very complete.
The location is perfect.
We will definitely stay here again!

The staff was very pleasant. The rooms are very clean however, balcony is too small for our family.location excellent.food just ok but good selection.bar cue constantly long no matter what time of day.lost all-inclusive on day of arrival and at 12am on check out. So all day no drinks or food for children before flying after paying in a package for this and had to make other arrangements for them.entertainment was good mix up.great pool side activities for kids.pool side showers within toilets for showers on departure from hotel. Variety of shopping brought into the hotel on a daily basis but no pressure. Didn't see our rep the whole time there but the hotel staff were helpful with this.The new infinity pool and use of the spa with all inclusive was excellent!! Adult time away from children while they were having pool side fun with great pool staff security(life guard). One massive downside was the hotel is on the main night time strip so for families with young babies ,not a great idea. Ask for the other side of the hotel. The double class balcony door&TV in the room drowned it out a little. We will come back for sure!!

Absolutely loved this hotel, beautiful location with sea view and within Easy access to bars and shops.
The hotel has excellent amenities with lots of different places to relax, if you like the pool lots of sunbeds and a lovely bar which serves food but if you want quiet time a beautiful sun terrace with sunbeds and a lovely covered area for shade with comfortable sofas.
The restaurant is lovely and clean with friendly and efficient staff and there is an excellent choice of food and drink.
The room we stayed in was clean, modern and had everything we needed, the housekeeping staff did an excellent job.
The staff on reception were helpful and pleasant to talk to and were always accessible.
All in all i would highly recommend this hotel for a lovely holiday.

1st time in Tenerife and it definitely won't be the last. The Troya is in the perfect location, right beside the beach, eating places, shop's, chemist etc. Room was ok, bathroom is lovely. Had to pay €25 for a fridge and 16 drinks, which we thought was a good price. Definitely need 1 in the heat. I thought the food was good enough, partner wasn't as fussed. Only heard music and shouting coming from the strip 1 night (Saturday).
Entertainment every night was good.
All in all we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay there again.

Amazing holiday from start to finish. Had 7 nights here at the end of August, the facilities were excellent. Clean rooms and bathrooms, clean towel change everyday. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, very good variety. the pool area was great two with the 2 different pools. Cocktails were also excellent. Felt very welcome from the off, with a welcome bag on arrival. Helpful staff when needed. The entertainment was great too with a lot to join in on. A great location too, as a young couple we were glad the strip was only a 2 minute walk, right on the beach, and plenty of shops near by if we needed anything. Wouldn't stay anywhere else, already planning next years holiday to the same hotel.

Stayed 12 nights all Inclusive in Club room, so had full access to Spa etc. Food was fantastic, night time entertainment was very good. Also day time activities were cool, Mrs, 10 yr old daughter and I will not hesitate to book there again. I can be a fussy eater, but can't compliment the buffet and service enough, 5 stars all round. Being picky, Gym equipment is basic, tired free weights and equipment needs updating, but still OK to maintain yourself and get the endorphins flowing. All 3 of us loved Spa/Sauna facilities, as 10 yr olds are allowed in 3pm till 4pm. Little girl loved it 😉💯👍 Would definitely recommend 👌

The hotel is family friendly, clean and modern. There were some renovations happening, but I see this as a positive as the hotel was not at full capacity and the workers were very mindful of the noise created.
All staff from cleaners to receptionist are excellent, very helpful, kind and hardworking.
If you book all inclusive, please read all terms and conditions, as some things such as the fridge, iron machine or some drinks from the menu cost extra.
