Hotel Riu Festival

This area services a largely German / Dutch traveler. I found the room to be great, very clean and everything worked properly. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. The location is excellent if your interests are the beach, proximity to Playa Palma, or if you need to stay nearer to the airport. I was treated upon arrival by a very nice gentleman, the ladies in the restaurant are very sweet, and the manager is always looking out on the guests. Breakfast is excellent, and dinner is also very nice.

A big bang for your buck .The room was a good size. Balcony on street but very quiet. Great wifi. Food exceptional. Clean ++. Lovely pool area but not much sun because of buildings and trees. Short distance to the sea and boardwalk. Will definitely go again more than 4 nights .

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is in a lovely area, with plenty of buses into Palma. The staff are just amazing, friendly and helpful, while the food was perfect. Can't recommend highly enough.

Nice, professional 4 star hotel and very friendly staff. Food buffet was not super big and could be varied more and only one local beer was available..., but all in all, food and drinks were good. Nice experience.

We arrived very early in the morning and the hotel staff were very good to us. Most of the guests were German or Dutch but the reception staff had a good grasp of English. The food was standard buffet style for breakfast and dinner. Not outstanding but sufficient and well presented. The pool is a little small for the size of hotel but it was clean and well maintained. The pool bar made great cocktails and the staff were friendly and hospitable. Our room was of a good size and our balcony had a great view across the gardens towards the sea. All in all a great base for a holiday.

Overall great place to stay, Will point out the negative points first and then the positive:

Negative;

Main door of the rooms and the way the hall is built has little sound proofing which creates noise problems, and as I mentioned the halls are quite echoed and creates noise, will effect if you want to sleep in and it gets noisy during breakfast and dinner time. As I mentioned that the soundproofing is not great the cleaners make quite a racket also due to this.

Please be advised there is no hotel parking so you will have to find parking in the area, sometimes can be hard to find one during peak season.

I don’t want to sound mean but the cleaners/maintenance team do not really respect the do not disturb/enter red tag on the doors, a couple of times they just entered the room, i think this is very disrespectful to our privacy.

Positive;

Hotel is beautifully renovated, rooms are nice and overall hotel is very clean !

Location is good, really close to the beach like 100 m!

Staff are very friendly and nice and the overall service at the restaurant/dinning and pool is very good.

Food is good, they different dishes every day which is repeated weekly, you have a lot of selection for breakfast and dinner which is nice.

Overall I would recommend to a friend and I would come back to this hotel.

Had such a great time here! The staff was fantastic and so friendly! The rooms were clean and a decent size. Would definitely come again.

Nice clean hotel. Room was nice, had everything you needed. Food ok, lots of choice from buffet, but not great. We were the only English people in the hotel. Seems to be mostly Germans.
