Hotel Timor

Not worthy for the Price. A bit outdated, rooms had wierd smells. The aircondition is only working with hot air, the floor is dirty, my bed has multiple black hairs, and the toilet even have brown spots on it. The rooms is also very sound sensitive.

Location is perfect, right next to beach. Rooms are clean and breakfast is lovely.

However…
1) the walls are paper thin that you can clearly hear conversations of the next room (you will not get a good sleep) as well as the blinds not being able to block out the sun effectively. So you will be woke up by the sun each day.

2) the tall man who works in the restaurant is honestly the rudest person. The first interaction we were on our way into dinner and we stopped to wait for someone to assist us into the restaurant however no one came so we preceded to walk in. The man approached us and stopped us by placing his hands on both me and my partner which I truly didn’t appreciate and made me feel uncomfortable. This was to get our room number but please keep your hands to yourself as me and my partner do not appreciate being man handled. The second horrible interaction with this man was at breakfast time. We had finished 2 plates of food and we’re going up to fetch something else. When we came back the table was cleared which is understandable but the cutlery was gone also. So we sat down the table next to it which had cutlery/cups. This obviously annoyed the man as I sat and watched him point at me and shake his head clearly in my view. Honestly being the second horrible interaction with this man made it feel worse. I felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave, really can’t put into words how humiliating it felt. I’m on holiday and expect to have a nice time, not to be treated so horribly. If Timor Hotel cares for their reputation it would be wise to look into that man’s attitude towards their guests.

Will not be back.

Amazing room, decent hotel, meh food, horrible experience. The is no silence there... All morning the kitchen delivery keeps rumbling woth bottles... All day anoging teens that come to get drunk play loud music... All night drunk germans yell and knock on wrong doors for fun. Very very loud. No sound isation in rooms. Uncomfortable mattresses and horrrible pillows. My neck hurt the whole week (after a while i figured out that it's better sleeping without a pillow). The staff and location is amazing but the guest are very loud and often behave barbaric. And no... It was not just that week, those drunk germans are almost always there. The hotel staff speaks german all the time... Rarely anyone speaks english and it got annoying real quick.
