Hotel Puerto Palace

Staff are attentive and polite. Rooms are spacious with ample cupboard space. They do not come with a kettle so definitely take one. Food is plentiful and cutlery clean. The pool water is warm with 2 outdoor jacuzzi.
You can access the roof to see the sunrise and sunset, but be aware there is nudist part accessed via a gate.
The hotel offers a shuttle into town, which is a coach, and drops you off in the shopping centre, where there's a Mercadona which is a supermarket, mega cheap and the hot food counter offers delicious food

Been going here for 25yrs on and off. Better than ever! Rooms have had a lovely make over, staff lovely including housekeeping staff who cheerfully greet you every morning. Some of the same staff since year 2000, that says a lot. Pity some punters feel the need to thieve from the breakfast room, obviously can't afford the holiday if lunch is a problem!!!!
Keep up the high standards Puerto Palace and PLEASE keep the overtly Spanish vibe!!!

We're coming to the end of our week's holiday at the end of August 2025. We have been very impressed by the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Nothing is perfect in this world, but given the price, we think this hotel is excellent.

Room - AirCon works silently, keeping a steady temperature without an icy draught. Beds comfortable. Shower a bit on the weak side and susceptible to temperature wavering. We were on floor 3 with a pool view. Room is cleaned every day, to a very high standard.

Food - pretty good, maybe a bit samey. Only the buffet restaurant, no 'specialist' full service areas like some hotels (more expensive) have. We certainly didn't starve! If you choose something and don't like it, simply go back and pick something else. Minor breakfast gripe is that there are no mugs (only cups), teapots or milk jugs. So those of us who like a strong mug of tea have to make multiple trips. 'First world problems' and all that...

Grounds - excellent. Beautifully kept gardens with lots of little areas for sunbathing. Maybe could do with a few more parasols as they are all fixed. Absolutely no problems getting sunbeds at any time of day. Naturist area on top floor if an all over tan is your thing.

Location - there is a road next to the hotel so there's always some traffic noise at the poolside. So pop in your earbuds and listen to your music.

Overall, very happy with our holiday. The hotel was spotless. The staff were all friendly and the food was great. When we booked, this was the cheapest half board offering in the area, so also terrific value.

Excellent hotel. You can park with car or motorbike in the garage for free.
Rooms are clean and nice. Good food, nice staff.
It is a good bit of walk to the beaches and the way is upward.
The hotel itself has plenty to offer: gym, pools, bars, events. You can use safe locker in the rooms with number combination so you don't have to carry extra key.

We stayed here for 5 days. It is a fantastic hotel. The pools were a big selling point for us, and did not disappoint.
It is staffed by friendly, attentive staff and the food and drink selection is excellent. They went above and beyond to help us when we lost a pair of sunglasses in a taxi.
We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Rooms: We had a big room with a big balcony. The room furniture is a bit old and it will be a good thing to renovate.

Pools: There are 2 outside pools and 2 small with heated water. Unfortunately the water in the pools is not heated and it is difficult to get inside.

Service: the service is fast, the staff is friendly.

Food: even if the food option is limited, the food is good. We had breakfast and dinner. The drinks were not included in the price.

Parking: take note that the hotel parking has limited capacity. We have parked next to the hotel, 1-2 streets away. The parking was free.

We had a fantastic holiday at Hotel Puerto Palace in Tenerife! The staff were friendly, the rooms were spacious with balconies, and the pools and activities were excellent. The variety of food and drinks was impressive, and the entertainment kept us entertained. Highly recommend for a great stay!

As a hotel that sits not as an adults only but equally not the hustle and bustle of a full on family hotel, it was perfect for us.
The food and drink options were great, serving pizzas until 11pm each night. There was plenty of room around the pool (until you decided to go there late afternoon when it was busy) but the pools and sunbed spaces were great.
My only gripe with the pool was that other the two jacuzzis said ‘children must be supervised’ they weren’t and as a result the jacuzzis were taken over my children, the lifeguards not necessarily being too fussed about it.
Service was generally good, rooms were great (sea view) and they were kept really clean.
Our shower had a mind of its own, blasting room cold to hot every 30 seconds and nearly scolding us; could job we like quick showers!
It’s not for those that expect the town or beach on the doorstep especially as Tenerife is quite hilly, but it was perfect for us; a nice 20-minute walk into town in the evening.

Very nice hotel, highly recommended. The facilities are not particularly new but everything is there. You can see that the standard was very high back then. The room is large, with plenty of hot water, a large balcony and welcome fruit. The hotel has a separate yard with a swimming pool and a nice garden. The breakfast is rich and has a full range of dishes. The location is not special. It takes a while to walk to the beach. There is also a bus stop next to it. It is very convenient to take a bus from the city and sit directly until the evening. There are also buses that can go directly to the airport within walking distance.
