Reviews
2. When i requested for lotion, they said they dont give lotion. We booked to 6 different hotels in Spain. Only this hotel has no lotion.
3. There is no complementary water. If you need water, you have to go get it from the cafeteria.
4. The air conditioning system is not working. The only hotel we booked at with no air conditioning for 3 days. So we had to open the windows, hoping that no bird would fly in while we were sleeping.
A grand hotel, but dated. Service and staff friendly.
We had a problem with the a/c and within 5 minutes there was a mechanic, then a few minutes later our room was changed.
Beautiful pool with a pool bar where you could pay cash, card or charge to the room.
As for the food at the buffet, I found the variety to be scarce, expensive, and all the food is pre-cooked.
I would like to suggest to the management please can you discuss them with the management to take action as soon as possible,
-Repaint the double bedroom walls they are very dirty and marked.
- replace the restaurant carpet/ or have the restaurant carpet washed
-Answer emails/ telephone calls as guests cannot communicate with the hotel?
Thank you and I look forward to staying again next month hopefully with new changes.
I do not recommend this hotel…..my advice is to stay somewhere else when in Toledo!
HORRIBLE!!!!! The whole experience was terrible. From the second I walked in to the minute I ran out. The staff was extremely rude upon checking in. We got up to our room and realized that they didn’t have an iron so I called to ask for one and was told that if I wanted the iron I would have to go get it in the lobby. I went to the lobby to get it. They took down my room number and told me that I needed to bring it down as soon as I was done using it. Nobody says please or thank you so obviously don’t expect a good morning or good evening. My first night there, I woke up at 2am drenched in sweat because they turned off the AC. I called to ask what was going on and they told me that the hotel turns off the AC in all of the rooms from 12am-2pm daily. Why would they turn off the AC at the times when people are actually in their rooms. I told them that my Fiance and I were very uncomfortable because it was extremely hot and they said there was nothing they could do and I could wait to speak to the director in the morning. The next day, my Fiance called at 1:33pm to ask about the AC but again was told we had to wait until 2pm for the AC to come back on. She said there was nothing that could be done, however it magically turned on after he hung up at 1:35pm. My mirrors were foggy, that’s how hot it was and we had to get ready for a wedding in a musty room. On our way out to the wedding, I asked for a cab and the front desk gentleman asked me for my passport because he said “he forgot to ask” while I checked in the day before. I provided my drivers license and credit card while checking in so not sure why he needed it. I had to leave so I said no and walked away. At this point, I just wanted to check out and go home. The pool was also not available for guests. This was not mentioned while booking nor while checking in. Also, they stand in bunches while ignoring the guests and seemed bothered when approached. The entire experience was terrible and I am very sad that this was the way my very anticipated trip to Toledo turned out. I will never go back and do not recommend this very expensive hotel.
