Mandarin Oriental, Ritz Madrid

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here, away from our home in Canada. For us, this could easily have simply been an expensive indulgence, similar to any high end hotel around the world. However, the experience at MO turned out to be a treasure. The hotel is in a great spot, as you'd expect from a former royal palace. The facilities - especially the restaurant and the pool/gym/spa area are exceptional. The staff made us feel as important as any of the real VIPs, with so many special, unsolicited touches to make our stay particularly wonderful.

Particular thanks go to the concierge, Jesus. Amongst an amazing team, he really stood out for us with local recommendations within our budget, great late-night chats and the type of welcome you wish your family gave you every time you walked into a room.

Generally, the service culture at this hotel is just a cut above the rest. To a person, everyone was kind, seemed happy and found clever ways to enhance our stay. Truly, if Madrid wasn't such an amazing experience in itself, we'd have happily stayed in the hotel the entire time :)

An incredible team that truly made us feel like royalty! From the seamless check-in process to the exceptional buffet breakfast, every detail was thoughtfully attended to. The quality of the food and drinks was outstanding, especially in the beautiful new garden pergola, an absolute highlight of our stay. A top-notch experience from start to finish!

We had an absolutely fabulous experience. Ritz level service and beyond in all departments. Early check-in after a long international flight. Room upgrade with Welcome coffee and pastries. Lovely restaurants on property. Amazing location.. Guest services were willing to accommodate any requests (cleaned and polished our leather boots as a courtesy). The concierge (all 3 of them over the course of our stay) gave us great recommendations. It was honestly the best jet lag day stay before 3 weeks exploring Southern Europe!

I had an incredible experience at The Beauty Concept Spa at Mandarin Oriental Ritz! I arranged numerous appointments for our clients during an event, and the customer service and care were just outstanding, whether for in-room services or treatments facilitated in the spa. Every detail was tailored to ensure a luxurious experience for each client and I could not be happier. Luciano, Sandra, and all of the staff were just remarkable!

Our stay was excellent from our arrival until our departure. The staff (especially the long-standing ones) are extremely attentive, the amenities exceeded our expectations, and the evening turndown service was impeccable. As a travel agent, I tend to make a lot of comparisons, and for me, this hotel is the best in Madrid. I also had the pleasure of meeting the commercial director, Raul Guerra, who showed us the other accommodations and spoke with such love and enthusiasm, sharing the hotel's stories, making me even more eager to recommend it to our clients. At dinner, when my father-in-law commented on the delicious cherries and my wish to buy some the next day, the waiter, Mr. Julio, brought a bowl full of cherries. How could one not love such a hotel?

A Memorable Stay at a Top Destination
I recently had the pleasure of staying at one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever experienced, and it has easily become one of my top destinations in the world. From the moment we arrived, the exceptional service at this hotel truly set it apart.
The service provided by the staff was outstanding, with special mentions to the sommelier in the Ritz Garde and Juan Carlos at the Palm Court. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our stay was unforgettable went above and beyond our expectations. Although I forgot to get the sommelier's name, his knowledge and recommendations added a delightful touch to our dining experience. Juan Carlos at the Palm Court also deserves special recognition for his impeccable service and warm hospitality.
I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Rebeca for her efforts in organizing our rooms and for the warm welcome we received upon arrival. Her attention to detail and personalized service made our stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, our stay at this hotel was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service and the beautiful surroundings. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and look forward to returning in the future for another unforgettable experience.

One of the best hotels in Europe. Our upgraded room on the top floor was lovely and bright. The garden, the formal dining room and the atrium were all beautiful and comfortable places for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was uniformly excellent. We enjoyed the pool and gym. Finally everyone on staff was gracious and helpful.

First time in Madrid , I really enjoyed my experience in Mandarin oriental.
They have a good place to eat breakfast and enjoy your afternoon tea there.
The hotel is very clean, the staff were helpful and very kind.
