Primus Valencia

Stayed at this hotel for a conference. Decent location between the old town and the beach, well connected by public transport. Spacious, bright and clean rooms and common areas.

Unfortunately service at this hotel was uncharacteristically poor for Spain. No iron in the room, none to lend or use in a laundry room. Only way to get an ironed shirt is to use their laundry service, 24 hours and €8 to get a shirt/blouse ironed.

No kettle in the room, grumpy bar staff gave me a cup of boiling water very begrudgingly (I would even have been happy to pay for it!). Scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet were cold, again staff not happy to be informed.

Finally on my last day I was struggling to get a postcard with a stamp already on posted - the postbox the staff directed me to in El Corte Inglés was not accessible until after I checked out and left. I asked the receptionists for help but they simply said, No, we can’t help you with that. A good summary really of all my interactions with the staff at an otherwise decent hotel.

For €150 a night there are plenty of other hotels in Valencia without all these issues. Would not recommend for business trips.

I was disappointed in this accommodation. Too much plastic, from the chairs and tables to the lamps. There was certainly no warmth to the place. The lobby air conditioning was nice, but mediocre at best in the rooms, even on full. Service was very poor at the bar. We stayed several days an one out of three elevators was always out of service. Elevators were extremely slow. Encountered lots of other guests using the stairways. Wouldn't stay here again.

I booked this hotel for the indoors pool which is not accessible for kids unfortunately. There are 4 other reasons why I didn't consider this hotel worthy of our time: 1. Outdoor pool not maintained and cold. 2. Gym accesibile through a key to which you may or may not get access to 3. Indoor pool is closed during the week and has limited hours. You can't go after kids are asleep, and you cannot go with kids. 4. Breakfast is really just pastry and fruits. The vegetables don't seem fresh, and protein options are very limited

Dysfunctioning toilet flush in both rooms, no isolation from the constant road noise, dysfunctioning wifi making ir impossible to have a single teleconference, lack of equipment, we ask for a better furnished room and we end up in one smaller and less equipped, half of spa facility not working (and spa is actually full of kids screaming)... how can it be a 4-star and such pricy hotel ??? Only great point was the perfect location.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. The staff is nice but not helpful.
Someone entered our room when we were away, although we had a do not disturb sign. They left the window open, and didn't clean or make the beds. (When we complained, we didn't get any clear answers than "sorry it was the cleaning lady")
The room was clearly not clean when we got it (shoe marks on the floor, oily hand stamps near the bed)
The beds are not stable and one of them feels like it's gonna break soon.
Very cheap toilet paper.
There's nothing in the room but a (hair-body gel and lotion)

Would definitely not recommend it. Too much money for this kind of service.
