Good location in Valladolid - walking distance from centre - good to have parking space inside hotel. Very friendly and efficient check in staff - rooms comfortable and clean - excellent and large bed - very good sleeping quality- streets can be a bit noisy at night so sleep with windows open may be a challenge. Cheap, clean, slightly old-fashioned hotel that needs renovation. Best of all: it is practically in the entire center of Valladolid and is perfect to stay after a trip by AVE and subsequent sightseeing around the city. It was recently acquired by the Barceló chain and will surely be renovated. We went with somewhat low expectations due to the opinions in the reviews but we were pleasantly surprised...

The hotel staff is so nice, it’s really great, but the air conditioning in the rooms is way too strong, it made it difficult to sleep well… Also the shower is tricky but once you get it, it’s very nice! The rooms might need more outlets, but the bed is so comfortable!

The location of the hotel is great, close to the main attractions and parks! The staff is very friendly and the hotel offered a couples drinks on arrival. The room was small, and no water given for free, they wanted €4, also the room was very small. The breakfast was ok, not as good as other NH hotels I have stayed in, and the room was cold. The reception staff were charmless, and one even shouted at my husband for knocking something over when he did not, and then when they realised he had not done anything no apology. I was disappointed with my experience

I had a really nice stay at Hotel NH Valladolid Bálago. The staff were so friendly when we arrived, check in was quick and the room was spotless and very fresh. The location is 20minutes walking from the centre. The furniture was rather tired. The bathroom was nice and clean. I made a complain because there was a label of the mattress with a chewing gum stuck in it in between the Nordic and the sheet and I got a fright in the middle of the night thinking it was something else. The receptionist apologized but that was it

We booked this hotel because it has a parking. Turned out to be full, and good luck finding public parking around there. We circled for 20 minutes and just decided to park a 20 minute walk away. This is not a 4 star experience. Reception staff was friendly.

We loved it here. Comfy bed, all you need is here. Helpful front desk, cleaning crew. Restaurant downstairs is at least 5 star facility. Impacable service, ambiance, delish food. We will be back.

Been in quite a few hotels in valladolid, but I slept the best in this one. The rooms have a working airco. Nice beds, fresh breakfast and is located at a nice street

We only stayed for one night on our drive from Portugal to Santander. The hotel is very centrally located in Valladolid, and everything about our stay was excellent. The double room was very comfortable, and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and efficient. The array of choice at the buffet breakfast was excellent.

Very nice and comfortable hotel next to the Plaza de toros and Corte Inglès store department. Upon arrival I was received with a smile and quite professionally, almost impossible nowadays wherever you go to find professionals. The room was quite big and the online deal gave me a quite affordable room. Very recommended.

Stop at this hotel as a stopover, the welcome is perfect. The room is large and well laid out even if it is a little outdated. The restaurant is very pleasant, the choice is limited but sufficient with reasonable prices. We enjoyed dinner. I'm knocking a couple of points off because I'm certain that the previous people had been smoking in the room..certainly smelt like it but the receptionist was very good & friendly..the breakfast good enough & in a good location

Located on the same avenue as the Valladolid Trade Fair, with a city bus stop across the street. It's a long walk to the city center. The room is spacious with a double bed. A desk, shoe rack, and minibar are included. The bathroom is large with a bathtub, bidet, and hairdryer. Perfect for short stays. Friendly reception staff. The hotel is a bit outdated. To be 4 stars I missed details such as complimentary water or coffee maker in the room as there are in other NHs. Quiet area and in 15 minutes walk you are in the main square.

Had a warm welcome by the guy from reception. Rooms are okey and had a nice sleep Approx. 10minute walk to the city centre. Wil come back within 2 weeks.

Valladolid sojourn The hotel reception (Roberto) was exceptionally friendly and took time to explain the facilities of the hotel plus the sights around the lovely city of Valladolid. I got to see the monument of my hero Christopher Columbus too. Had lovely meals and coffee around the city which are the bonus of our short visit to Valladolid

The hotel is in an excellent location in the old town. My room, although small, was clean. Same with the bathroom. One issue if you are in a lower floor is the noise at night from the bars/restaurants below. My only challange was the room temperature. Although the fan worked, the AC didn't. The breakfast is a good deal for the cost!

Excellent location with good standard a very good hotel in centre, just behind Plaza Mayor. The parking under Plaza Mayor is very near and easy to find. The hotel have a good standard with nice staff.

We enjoyed Valladolid. The hotel is near La plaza mayor , but the parking is bellow the plaza. The town is all walkable, clean & nice to enjoy for a few days. We stayed for 2 days .

I've been here twice over the past couple of years, visiting from London. I have been very happy with the accommodations. The bed and bedding is very comfortable. The bathroom is immaculate and pleasant. The windows, when closed, block out virtually any street noise. The staff are very helpful and it's a good location. I'll definitely be back when I visit Valladolid again.

Even though the hotel is close to the city centre, the neighbourhood is quiet. The rooms are very clean - it was the first hotel I wasn't afraid to walk barefoot. The staff is nice and the breakfast is good. I liked my stay 😊

A fabulous hotel, great room, clean, beautifully designed, exceptional service everywhere (reception, bar, breakfast) in a great location. Convenient parking space, everything is just perfect here. I haven't found such a great hotel for a long time. We will always come back here if we travel to Valladolid.

Quite a small but nice hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are decently sized. I was very satisfied with the ventilation system, as our colleagues stayed in a different hotel and complained about the heat, not a problem in this hotel.

A perfect place to stay. We had a suite room so there was a separate lounge area. It made a huge difference. The room was excellent, clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The parking was good, although the elevator was a bit scary at first. For breakfast, directly outside the hotel entrance is a great bar. They did excellent tortilla, which kept us going until lunch.

We stayed here one night towards the end of our honeymoon. The room and bed were very comfortable and the staff was very nice. We ordered dessert and had it on the terrace and we were the only ones out there and it was very romantic. This hotel is ideal for a stopover on the way up to Santander or Bilbao ferry ports. The hotel is very nice and the lady in reception and Anna in the bar were exceptional. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Excellent hotel literally next to the cathedral. Everything about this hotel is fab including size and cleanliness of room and it’s secure parking. However the one thing that really made our stay was the professionalism and care the receptionist dealt with us. It's a great little hotel in the heart of Valladolid. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was spacious and clean. The location was good, just a few steps from the bars/Terrazas zone.

One of the best experience in a boutique hotels. The staff is amazing, impeccably clean, great area - central located, surrounded by restaurants, great breakfast... The room 401 is big with very comfy beds. I highly recommend this little gem in Valladolid

Great location and friendly staff, although A/C was very light

The room was very nice with very nice bedding and a comfortable bed. It was quiet and it was close to the plaza major and restaurants. The staff were helpful even though some didn’t speak English we communicate very well. The car parking was challenging as we had to get the car into a lift (Honda HRV ) which wasn’t easy and it took us down 2 floors. It was not quite as challenging getting it out !

Traditional churros place in Valladolid. Old school style, almost a tourist attraction if you haven’t seen churros being made!

The hotel is located in the town center. The room is clean and comfortable but not very well designed...the bathroom access is awkward and there is very little drawer space. The safe does not work. The staff are helpful and friendly.

It is a old fashion hotel. But you will have all what you need and the hotel is in the center. The restaurants are juts one street away and the shopping just around the corner. Don't be afraid the hotel street is very quiet anyway.

Nice old style hotel, big room, bathroom, they had a problem with the Wi-Fi, you could connect but it wasn't giving internet. They have reserved parking places for the clients of the hotel nearby.
