Nova Skyland Hotel

A perfect place for a stay! The rooms were extremely clean, and set up very well for a family. The front desk receptionist was incredibly kind and friendly, and we ate at the restaurant that is on location several times. Each time the food was very good, and the staff was very accommodating and pleasant.

Is it overly predictable to say that my favorite aspect of the hotel was the reindeer?

I'll mention instead that I was particularly impressed by the hotel's staff. The level of kindness and exceptional service was remarkable. I wish I could take this level of hospitality back to Boston with me.

One notable instance was when a front desk employee took the initiative to research a question we had about Finnish saunas. Later, when we approached the desk again to purchase toothpaste, she informed us that she had found the answer to our question. This was an unexpected and appreciated gesture. Thank you (Kiitos).

Additionally, the food at the hotel was outstanding. For a lunch special, they offered the best lasagna I have ever had. Please make that a permanent menu item.

Regarding room temperature: We found our rooms to be excessively warm at 23 degrees Celsius. It's important to know that room thermostats can't be adjusted manually; you must request the front desk to make any changes.

Amazing location, amazing rooms with fireplace and sauna inside the room.
It is just 100mts from Santa's Village.
Not the best location for aurora's but it is beautiful, the food they served was very very good!!

The Hotel and the rooms are beautiful. We stayed at the Aurora Suite Double Bed. The Sauna was great, you get two big windows at opposite sides of the room for more chances to see the auroras. The only downside I found was they had sensor lights, so no matter if you turn off the power to the entire room the sensor lights at the stair will still come one at the slightest movement. This made it very difficult to enjoy the big window they had in the living room because it was creating a reflection of the inside. The Hotel I find it is expensive, but the location has a lot to do with it. It is a 5 min walk from the Santa Clause Village.

We visited Nova Skyland Hotel for 2 nights, and I can only say “What a hotel!”
From the amazingly professional and friendly staff (especially upon arrival at 3am), to the beautiful cabins, Nova Skyland takes to you to new heights of luxury, comfort, relaxation and peace of mind.
We were lucky enough to be allocated cabin No.1, one of their best cabins with a view of their Reindeer Garden (which had 2 white as snow Reindeers walking around in from of our window).
We were also able to enjoy the cabin’s Sauna which was very well functioning and spacious for 2 people.
Breakfast at the hotel was a mix of local and international food, with a generous amount of dishes and variety.
I would definitely recommend this hotel as part of your trip to Rovaniemi (even if for only 1 night, to simply experience it for yourself).

We stayed for 4 nights during our visit to Santa Clause Village and it was absolutely fantastic!
Beautiful interior, very clean, great restaurant and kind staff. Location was perfect - only 10mins (car) to airport and 3min walking distance to the Santa Claus Village.
Recommended and we hope to come back again some day 😊

Beautiful, new hotel. The rooms are decorated in a Scandinavian style with a touch of Lappish hatred. The restaurant was closed due to exceptional circumstances. Breakfast is served at a nearby hotel.

This is a heavenly experience for a lifetime. You see life in your life. Even you can't believe your eyes to see the natural beauty of this place.

Absolutely perfect accommodation. The cottage was clean, spacious, atmospherically decorated and had everything you need for a relaxing stay. Everything worked flawlessly and the customer service was especially great, thank you so much for that! The breakfast at the restaurant next door was acceptable and varied and the breakfast brought to the room was really filling and tasty :)
