The hotel was great in every way except the death trap windows. Being up to five or six floors up, with windows that fully open, a step making them knee height and no locking facility, pretty scary with young kids. Thankfully they were able to relocate us to a low floor, hence still a good rating.

Ibis are rightly famous for small, modern, comfortable hotels in convenient locations and this is a perfect example. Right next to the train station, a simple five minute drive from the A26 motorway, it's also only a 15 minute walk to the town centre of Béthune for a wider selection of cafés, bars and restaurants. Splendid three days. Second time I've stayed here. Convenient for the golf course and supermarket and a pleasant walk into a lovely town. Along with some places in Normandy, Bethune is the friendliest place that my Friends and I have found in France. Very good breakfast and nice Lady on reception - plus Thomas the cat. We also enjoyed a nice bottle of fizz in the pleasant garden.

A basic hotel for a stopover but very clean and comfortable. My children enjoyed seeing the hotel cat who slept in the dining room chair!

Four night stay Very convenient (particularly as a base for the local golf courses), extremely secure and a nice walk in to the town. Breakfast is excellent and the room had all we needed, notwithstanding the slightly small bathroom, compensated for, by the shower bath. Host bilingual, friendly and helpful. Would return.

Great location Nice hotel in great location. Its just around the corner from main square which has lovely bars and restaurants.

The hotel is across from the train station and a cinema with a lot of places around to eat and have a drink. It can be noisy in the morning when freight trains pass but if you're sound asleep, you'll probably won't even notice it. There's no parking of the hotel but you can park for free on the street during night time or for free on the train station parking lot.

Very easy as we arrived late. Room smelt of chips maybe from the restaurant downstairs but for a family room it was really well laid out with a double bed and a screen door between this and 2 single beds. Bathroom was a good size and clean and shower was very good. Hair dryer included. We managed to park close by. Would definitely recommend

Good location to get into Lille centre easily. However, extremely dated facility, particularly the bedrooms. Small beds, damp patches, hooks hanging off walls. Perfect for a lads weekend, would not recommend for families or couples - not unless you want a divorce 😀

The location is in the middle of nowhere. Near a subway rail. That was quite loud in my opinion. The receptionist deserves a compliment though. She was very friendly, and she spoke English. I was quite pleased with that because my French is terrible.

This hotel has the best location in Lille, right in the city centre, near a large metro station and walking distance from the bus station. Friendly guy dealt with us on arrival. Very handy that they have a car park,looks a bit imposing for some at first, I have a bigger car but managed just fine. Room is clean and modern with a great shower.

Unfortunately, despite checkout being between 6 and 12 a.m., the chambermaid asked us to leave the room twice, knocking loudly at 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. The service at the reception was friendly, as was the breakfast service.

Lovely staff and grounds. Shower was the highlight. Came for the air conditioning during the heatwave but the system was not adequate. Fold out couch was incredibly uncomfortable and squeaky, ended up putting the mattress on the floor.

This hotel is very good. There is no reception. Everything is done by entry codes. Code to get inside the hotel and a code to get into your room. Make sure you have this information before you arrive. No lift so not recommended for elderly people unless on ground floor. We only had breakfast once but it was very good. All clean and very quiet. Excellent staff, wonderfuul restaurant. Room was regularly hot and humid, curiously, although a simple opening of the windows remedied this. There was also an air conditioning unit that was made available, but which we did not use. Location is wonderful, beautiful buuilding that was decorated with taste.

The Clarance hotel is a lovely little gem in the city of Lille. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is good and the location is perfect, right in the center of town.

Great central location but the hotel was disappointing and didnt meet 5 stars or Relaix and Chateau standard. We had a suite booked and were initially put in a loft room which was all painted virtually black and very dark and the bedroom was upstairs with very steep stairs which were steep and not ideal. Had a great stay. It’s within walking distance of many of Lille’s attractions. The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. There’s a safe in the room and received complimentary drinks which I appreciated. I’d stay here again without a doubt!

Lille is a city with a beautiful skyline. The hotel is also in the downtown area. It is nice to have a kitchen in the room. It is the room on Ctrip. It is annoying. There is no worse, only the worst. The breakfast was rich, the food in the freezer was free (5 bottles of drinks), and a piece of chocolate was given. The hotel is located quite near the train station, Lille Flandres. The location is convenient since you’re at the heart of the city with lots of things to do and visit. The room was very basic and tiny. It is without doubt the smallest room we have ever stayed in. They only supply one towel per person. It is very central and the main reason we stayed for the one night is access to a car park a few minutes walk away. Despite being in the town centre we didn’t hear any noise from outside. Directly across from the opera house, Hotel Carlton is a gem in the center of Lille. It’s a historical building, having been damaged and rebuilt after both world wars. This place has hosted royalty. We had a shirt stay in this wonderful hotel. Welcome and all other service was excellent and the room was beautifully clean and very grand with a view overlooking a square.

We were assigned an accessible junior suite though we didn't request an accessible room.. The bathroom was half finished and the wiring was not completed with the switches for the separate toilet and bath located in the doorway.
