The picture of relaxation! Every single thing was considered and accommodated for. The entire staff, down to the house keeping, was absolutely lovely. We'd happily recommend these flats.

We stayed here for 6 nights in the beautiful Chalet Soli. Like a perfect little gingerbread house. Parking underneath (for free). Tiny issue with the air con as we were the first people there since the weather turned hot but the hotel management handled it beautifully and it was fixed the next day. Everything about this hotel ( rooms, service, food, ambiance, spa) was great. When I had a sore throat from lunch, the chef was happy to make me a pot of vegetable soup specially for lunch and have it brought to the room. The steam room, sauna, and pool were very relaxing, and the food was excellent.

I can’t get over our stay in this hotel! You get the best view of the mountains with the coziest atmosphere you will ever experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This hotel is fantastic for its design and amenities, but one thing puts it far above the rest. The service is possibly the best I have ever experienced. Not only did the staff energetically assist my trip, they also went above and beyond to fill in the gaps that occur in most itineraries. Great pool. Location can’t be beat. Service was exemplary. Excellent shuttle service. One item to be careful about. The design of the combination tub and shower in some of the rooms is dangerous and should be avoided by all but the most limber.

Let me be fair. This is a very small village with restrictions and very little room to expand. That being, the room is as good as is possible in this environment! Went to spa by Clarins for a massage and unwind. Jade (not sure if I spelt it correctly) was wonderful. She gave me a firm massage to fix my back. Was incredibly attentive. Thanks also to Costa for keeping me hydrated by the pool 🍹 If youre looking for a day to unwind in Chamonix, highly recommend.

The chalet is nice to watch and the view on the mountain is exceptional - chalet Granit. We like the vast living room - kitchen with a 270 degree view. Just sit next to the fireplace and enjoy the view! Miss Wang has welcomed us warmly and explained us all the appliances.

Lovely villas, although owner was a too pushy and forward by walking into chalet when still under rental agreement asking what time we were leaving the following day, rather than abiding by the rental timings as per the contract.

Absolutely top. We have spent 4 days in the chalet for our wedding in June 2018 (we rented 2 adjoining buildings). Facilities were absolutely flawless, service was fantastic (special thanks to Marta), location cannot be beaten for convenience to shops, transportation, lifts, but especially views. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is a nice hotel. The rooms were ok but comfortable. The restaurant was nice with a very generous breakfast with many choices. The bar was very comfortable and the service was very friendly. The outdoor area was nice with good seating. It is also a good location with a short walk to the gondola and the down town area. We spent a wonderful weekend here. We counted on the pool for pleasing the kids and we were not wrong. The hotel is quite nice, modern with lots of activities proposed on spot. Very cozy hotel. Service was great, you can feel at home. Super calm since it's a little bit far from the center and the central road. Not easy to access to city center or slopes if you don't have a car. (you'll have to rely on taxis). The hotel itself is great though!

We did some hiking trips around Charmonix and decided for this cozy hotel with an amazing restaurant “le rosebud”, a nice spa with two saunas, two whirlpools and a big swimming pool. The team was very friendly and supportive when we asked about nice hiking trips. We had an amazing time and can highly recommend this hotel. (September 2022)

My son and I stayed here for a weekend of skiing in February. It is a very comfortable and pleasant hotel with excellent service, very nice rooms, and a wonderful little spa. Easy walking distance from the Grandes Montets lifts. Very nice atmosphere and the owners are very nice. My son fell in the lift parking lot, and the owner kindly offered to wash his ski pants. Friendly owners. Our room was quite small with little privacy as the one window/door to the outside faced the dining and common area in the garden where the children were playing. Our room was also quite hot with no way to cool it other than opening the door to the shared garden. Plenty of parking and a nice part of the world to visit.

The hotel was cozy and they were very polite but there were two problems. 1 we tried to leave early for a hike but the door was closed but it was solved quickly. 2 they said the price for the dog was complimentary but at checkout it was not, they said it was a misunderstanding.

While the hotel facilities looked good we chose the hotel last minute as we were passing through chamonix and wanted somewhere with aircon as it was very warm. Sadly we weren't informed that the air conditioning was broken. It was too hot to try the restaurant and we had a terrible nights sleep due to the heat. Finally at 5am we gave up and left. Disappointing.

This is a must-have experience for those who enjoy Chamonix. Away from the hustle and bustle of the centre, this gem of a hotel deserves the uphill walk. The staff is incredible and the food is just perfect... they even put together a picnic basket for us to take up the mountain because we couldn't make it in time for lunch... We stayed for three nights, very nice people at the hotel and our garden patio with a view was lovely. Everything was great with the exception that the blanket was much too thick for summer and I was totally surprised that breakfast was not included. Ojisang was super nice.. We had blessed time in Chamonix. Chet was little bit far from the city however easy to access to everywhere.

Room is not clean and is aging and bed is uncomfortable. The next day I even have back pain. The prices is not fighting back.

I think it is the best chalet for people who want to enjoy chamony for a long time with their peers. The owner, Mr. Kanda, is also a friendly person, who will consult with us. The view from the room is also great.

Japanese-owned pension. The staff is all Japanese. There is no worry of words. Although it is a little away from the center of the city, it is quiet for a minute. Mr. Kanda, the Lord, is a very famous person in the field.

Great location with friendly staff. Front desk gave us complimentary reusable water bottles to fill from the water fountain to fight plastic waste. The location is amazing, just a couple of minutes walk to the market. The not so good, rooms are small, bed made us itchy and the water pressure from the shower is average.

Wow, hotel looks like a typical 1970’s building from the outside … not promising. But from the inside, it’s stylish, nicely renovated and really unique. This is true not only for the rooms but also for bar and restaurant. Eating in the restaurant was good but not exceptional. But I really enjoyed the stay.

Everything is walkable in Chamonix so no complaints on location. Parking was confusing but they do have parking (25 euros/day), but it gets taken quickly. There is a lot close by that the hotel team will direct you to if you are driving (believe it was 21 euro max per day). I only went to the spa after my own hotel had no availability for appointments. Paul my therapist was AMAZING. He was incredibly professional and very skilled for releasing my tight muscles. Stayed only one night here but it was terrific. Location was perfect -near the gondola and not far from the train station, other restaurants, etc. Really comfortable bedding and nice rooms. Staff was very helpful and accomodating. On a 3 week long trip, this is probably our favorite hotel.

Lovely hotel in chamonix. The spa facility on the roof top is great. Didn't stop for the breakfasts as it was €22 euro and the local bakery 50yards away was great and around 1/3 of the price. There were fingernail clippings on our nightstand and chewed up cherry pits in the floor. I thought it was probably just a fluke but reading other online reviews, the uncleanliness seems to be a pattern. The spa was very nice and well maintained. Staff was great.

But breakfast is not included and if you choose for breakfast which is €15 per person you still have to order and pay for things like eggs, ham, cheese, fruit separately. In a luxury hotel like this I would assume breakfast is included in the price (inclusive all supplements which are quite normal like fruit, eggs….)

Nice hotel with mountain views. Has got a nice restaurant and a bar. Right next to it they have a place where they rent all accessories for ski. Rooms are nice. Staff is well behaved. We had an excellent stay at Grands Montets. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view. The pool and hot tub were so relaxing. The only issue we had was that during the summer, it's a decent walk from the hotel into Argentiere to get dinner, etc. and it's through a large parking lot / trailer park.

My family of five had the pleasure to travel to les Chalets Grands Montets twice. To be clear, these are the three cottages you can rent; not the bigger hotel that is nearby. It is a 3 min walk to the Grands Montets chairlift...

Les Chalets Grands Montets was a wonderful stay. The location is superb, literally 2 minute walk to the lifts, 10 minutes to the main street. The Chalet itself was absolutely lovely, well furnished, extremely homely and comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful. Once again, wonderful chalet, wonderful holiday.

Visited friends who had rented. An eclectic experience. Most very attractive alpine with good amenities. Pasted on top like an excresence bricks and ironwork that looked at though lifted from a one star restaurant in Andalusia. Whoever came up with that horror?

To be clear, I am talking about the Chalets, owned and run Stella, not the hotel. Stella is brilliant, could not be more helpful and obliging. We stayed for 3 weeks in March in Chalet Ferme d' Estelle.
