The picture of relaxation! Every single thing was considered and accommodated for. The entire staff, down to the house keeping, was absolutely lovely. We'd happily recommend these flats.

When I had a sore throat from lunch, the chef was happy to make me a pot of vegetable soup specially for lunch and have it brought to the room. This hotel is fantastic for its design and amenities, but one thing puts it far above the rest. The service is possibly the best I have ever experienced. Not only did the staff energetically assist my trip, they also went above and beyond to fill in the gaps that occur in most itineraries. We had lunch on a visit to Chamonix. The place is nice and cozy, lots of Ferrari pictures and Italian themed as it was an Italian restaurant. I had the seafood risotto and it was amazing. I highly recommend thos spot but be aware of ski season as it can get packed.

Great pool. Location can’t be beat. Service was exemplary. Excellent shuttle service. One item to be careful about. The design of the combination tub and shower in some of the rooms is dangerous and should be avoided by all but the most limber.

Let me be fair. This is a very small village with restrictions and very little room to expand. That being, the room is as good as is possible in this environment! The chalet is nice to watch and the view on the mountain is exceptional - chalet Granit. We like the vast living room - kitchen with a 270 degree view. Just sit next to the fireplace and enjoy the view! Miss Wang has welcomed us warmly and explained us all the appliances.

Absolutely top. We have spent 4 days in the chalet for our wedding in June 2018 (we rented 2 adjoining buildings). Facilities were absolutely flawless, service was fantastic (special thanks to Marta), location cannot be beaten for convenience to shops, transportation, lifts, but especially views. There is a bus stop right next door that will take you to Geneva, Paris or Annecy, so you don't have to rush out early in the morning. The hotel itself is nice too.

My son and I stayed here for a weekend of skiing in February. It is a very comfortable and pleasant hotel with excellent service, very nice rooms, and a wonderful little spa. Easy walking distance from the Grandes Montets lifts. Very nice atmosphere and the owners are very nice. My son fell in the lift parking lot, and the owner kindly offered to wash his ski pants. Friendly owners. Our room was quite small with little privacy as the one window/door to the outside faced the dining and common area in the garden where the children were playing. Our room was also quite hot with no way to cool it other than opening the door to the shared garden. Plenty of parking and a nice part of the world to visit.

Very cozy hotel. Service was great, you can feel at home. Super calm since it's a little bit far from the center and the central road. Not easy to access to city center or slopes if you don't have a car. (you'll have to rely on taxis). The hotel itself is great though!

We did some hiking trips around Charmonix and decided for this cozy hotel with an amazing restaurant “le rosebud”, a nice spa with two saunas, two whirlpools and a big swimming pool. Lovely hotel in chamonix. The spa facility on the roof top is great. Didn't stop for the breakfasts as it was €22 euro and the local bakery 50yards away was great and around 1/3 of the price. Nice hotel and friendly service. Very good location and nice garden and spa. But breakfast is not included and if you choose for breakfast which is €15 per person you still have to order and pay for things like eggs, ham, cheese, fruit separately. In a luxury hotel like this I would assume breakfast is included in the price (inclusive all supplements which are quite normal like fruit, eggs….)

Pool wasnt warm so wasnt as nice as I had hoped. Would if loved a sauna at the hotel over a jacuzzi, that again wasnt warm. Good breakfast! Definitely worth the extra to get you fuelled for the slopes. I 100% would recommend hiring a car, we managed to venture to other ski slopes and get home when we wanted to rather than having to go vis the bus timetable. It's alright, but nothing outstanding. The lighting in the hallways, rooms and pool is broken (e.g. 3 broken lamps in the pool) or ineffective (e.g., can barely see the door to swipe the card). We also booked a twin room but they didn't separate the beds as asked. All for a rather expensive price. We won't go back.

I only went to the spa after my own hotel had no availability for appointments. Paul my therapist was AMAZING. He was incredibly professional and very skilled for releasing my tight muscles. I did the 75 minute body scrub that includes massage and my skin is as soft as the day I was born and my calves feel SO much better. I highly recommend Paul! Stayed only one night here but it was terrific. Location was perfect -near the gondola and not far from the train station, other restaurants, etc. Really comfortable bedding and nice rooms. Staff was very helpful and accomodating. On a 3 week long trip, this is probably our favorite hotel.

You can contact the hotel for parking. The car must be not high and not big to park underground at the hotel. There is a charge but it is convenient. It is recommended to contact and reserve a parking space in advance. Even though you can check in at 4:00 PM, you can walk around the city or take the train first. Come back to check in and go to the indoor pool at the spa.

We arrived at the SUD bus station in Chamonix town at noon, which is about 900 meters away from the hotel. The hotel is close to the train station. Everything was great with the exception that the blanket was much too thick for summer and I was totally surprised that breakfast was not included. We had an excellent stay at Grands Montets. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view. The pool and hot tub were so relaxing. The only issue we had was that during the summer, it's a decent walk from the hotel into Argentiere to get dinner, etc. and it's through a large parking lot / trailer park.

Les Chalets Grands Montets was a wonderful stay. The location is superb, literally 2 minute walk to the lifts, 10 minutes to the main street.
