Chamonix, 8 Route du Bouchet 🧭 Map
The property is centrally located . The staff is very co-operative and supportive. The view of the Alps from the bigger room was stunning One should surely check the room size as few rooms are pretty small
Perfect cozy hotel. Especially liked the attention to detail and the style of it. So many beautiful pieces of decor, placed everywhere with love. Something nostalgic felt about this place, some pieces of furniture may seem a bit old-fashioned (90s-2000s style), but it's used in a good way and it's definitely looked after, not shabby at all!!! Everything is clean.
Moreover, the receptionist Franck was...
Central location, great parking and very helpful staff. Overpriced for what you get, no lift, bar closes at 9.00pm., thin walls and small room.
Bathroom had sloping ceiling and for a man you could not stand straight to use the toilet.
This small boutique hotel was lovely with clean and well appointed rooms Windows opened with a view to Mont Blanc, And the common area in the entry and comfy bar was lovely. The setting was peaceful with gardens, a hot tub and areas to relax outdoors. I Highly recommend this hotel!
Perfect location in terms of transport, ski hire, and proximity to restaurants. Rooms were comfy and charming, staff very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely.
It was a cozy and lovely place! It was really clean and tidy, but it was a pity that the water in the sink didn't drain well. Even so, the location, cleanliness, and coziness were all perfect. When the hotel owner's dog, a border collie, greeted me, it felt like I was in a mountain lodge. It was so nice. I will come here again on my next vacation.

Beautiful hotel in Chamonix. Front desk was very friendly and allowed luggage storage before and after our tour. This is a G Adventures affiliate hotel, so lots of tour travelers coming through.
No refrigerators or air conditioning the room. So ask the front desk to store your temperature sensitive items. And for a fan during hotter days. Room had a patio that opened to a lovely mountain view. Located...
I had an excellent stay here an would definitely stay again! Extremely convenient location right in middle of Chamonix, very comfortable rooms, and excellent service with a luggage room where I was able to leave my things while checking out for a night to stay in a mountain hut. They have a usable gym and breakfast is decent, although perhaps a little expensive but still not a bad deal.
The one caveat...
The hotel only has three stars but should have four. We paid extra for a room (fourth floor) with a view of Mont Blanc. When we arrived, it was raining. The following day was clearer and the following morning it was crystal clear. They only have SIX parking spaces, which must be booked in advance. The nearest car park is 45 euros a day; one farther away is 22 euros a day. The dinner in the restaurant...
I am giving this hotel 5 stars primarily for it's service. Cami at the front desk is so welcoming, kind, and helpful. Lovely person! Even though the weather was partly terrible we had a fabulous stay. The location is a short walk to most of the attractions. Easy check in and check out as we were able to pull car up and we were able to grab complimentary parking not too far away. The rooms are small...
Our group of two families stayed at Pointe Isabelle in mid-February for a ski trip. The rooms were comfortable, the location is amazing - right in the center of everything, and we reserved a parking spot in the garage (you must reserve). The garage parking was very convenient, but spots are tight, so I would not bring an enormous vehicle. We purchased the breakfast the first day, but did not purchase...
Positive: Location is good, spacious rooms. Polite and nice staffs.
Negative:The rooms beds are very uncomfortable, didn’t sleep most of the stay, and cleaning isn’t done properly (so much dust and dirt under the beds - it has been weeks since someone hoovered). The bed sheets are also very basic. The restaurant food is average for the price. A lot of staff members can’t speak French. No scramble...

A great Hotel with English staff, which makes it really easy! Totally delivers what it says on the can and friendly helpful staff!
Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Family run, with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food, with a particularly generous breakfast, cheese, and desert selection.
Rooms are a bit basic but charming, and the bathrooms have been modernized throughout.
Close to train and bus connections making it easy to get anywhere you want in the valley.
It was so wonderful to return to Hotel Aiguille du Midi after 15 years. The hotel is in the most beautiful of locations, with absolutely stunning mountain views on their doorstep. It is a 5th generation family hotel (which is such a rarity), it has a lovely friendly, welcoming atmosphere, delicious breakfasts and dinners and cozy traditional decor - it was like coming home each day, at the end of...
Fantastic family owned hotel. Every detail was looked after and the staff (mostly family) was passionate about making your stay memorable. Food for dinner and breakfast was the best! I would give 10 stars if allowed!
From the moment I arrived, Carla warmly welcomed me and she explained everything to me regarding my stay ahead.
I Stayed at Hotel Aiguille Du midi for one month, which is the longest I’ve ever stayed at a hotel while travelling o/s
This time around I didn’t even get through all of the hikes that I could have!

After the initial anger of not being able to clearly find out from the staff if the hotel has a charging station due to a language barrier, the manager, Isabelle, was skilled enough to calm me down and explain everything to me in a mature, clear and very easy to understand manner. If it wasn't for her communication skills, I wouldn't give this place such high marks. The hotel itself is cosy and comfortable...
I arrived a day late, and I fully understood that my reservation was nonrefundable (we missed a connecting flight). The front desk was very responsive and helpful with advice for our overnight in Geneva, and they were welcoming when we did arrive the following day.
We did not try the breakfast (15€pp). The sauna is also charged 15€pp. just fyi.
The room was very clean, modern and nicely put together...
Nice hotel, pleasant service. We arrived in the morning and got ready to go to the mountains, we managed to leave our things, this is a big plus. There is a small bar and many restaurants nearby. The bed was very nice and clean. There was a kettle and tea/coffee in the room. This is a great solution for the morning to spend time with a hot drink on the balcony and a wonderful view. In the hole there...
Friendly and helpful staff at all times. Rooms a bit cosy but clean and comfortable. Lift / elevator to all floors, Bar, lounge, and "business" room. Reasonably large breakfast room and good buffet breakfast. A few minutes walk from "main street" Chamonix, and about 10 minutes almost level walk to the railway station.
Very nice and cozy hotel, clean and beautiful rooms, friendly staff. Located in the center of Chamonix close to all restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay there a lot!
Excellent views from the rooms, very good breakfast and skier services. The spa, ski room are excellent.

Great place if you're interested in skiing or hiking. A minute from the Brevent gondola. The place itself doesn't offer much besides a good breakfast and nice and large rooms - very good value for the price.
Great view from our room looking out over the valley. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good and better than food we had in town. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. The hotel/restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.
One caveat: it is a 10 minute Uphill walk from the center of town or you can drive.

Lovely hotel! Great location very close to the center of town, but also not on such a busy street that it’s noisy. Overall, amazing views and a good stay.
Very welcoming from all, lovely location and super comfy rooms. Views of the mountains take your breath away.
Pros:
- in the center of Chamonix (across the train station), the position is unbeatable
- we had a room with Mont Blanc view
- the breakfast was good, although not too varied
- very friendly staff, they allowed us to have a late check-out free of charge
Cons:
- the room is small and the furniture is quaint
- thin walls, you could hear the other people walking, but I had earplugs, so it didn't bother...
Very friendly staff. Fantastic location literally across the street from the gare. The breakfast was a good value but underwhelming for variety. I ate a few times at the restaurant (cafe neuf) and had a pleasant meal. My room on the forth floor has a fantastic view and had exceptional housekeeping. Recommended!

Dinner was great. Loves the outdoor fire pit in the evening and being able to eat outdoors. Lovely charm. Very close to city center so you may experience a bit of noise if something is going on in town Square.
Fantastic hotel. The owners are amazing and are very attentive to their client needs. Particularly loved the morning breakfast with the homemade waffles.
Lovely service and good for ski touring visits. If you need luxury spend more money.
Stayed for one night on the tmb. Great dinner and breakfast. Nice little town. Recommended!
One the of nicest hotels I have been to. Large connected rooms. Enough room to have all your ski clothing and stuff. Boot warmers and lockers for skis. Great breakfast and a nice restaurant. The owners operate the place, so it feels more like a nice bed and breakfast than a hotel. Very close to the slops, shops and restaurants.
Free parking in public area, in walking distance.

Simple but very friendly accommodation, pleasant welcome, on a day hike, we didn't miss anything, the picnics were ready on time (between dessert sandwich and sweet treats) what you need for a hike!
To recommend !
From Metz (Moselle).
The views were amazing. Very close to town and a great staff.
Very sympathic staff, very nice chalet. So cosy and charming. Best way to spend a really nice time in this gorgeous time. In winter, the chalet is right next to the slopes: 1 minutes to go there, unbelievable. In summer let's climb! The start path to "la mer de glace" is where the slopes are. The bus and the trainstation are near by. I recommand!

We stayed here as a group of 24 people and had booked 12 rooms. We stayed for 3 nights; 2 nights before TMB Trek and 1 night after the trek. The rooms were neat and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the spread was really good, compared to European standards. The location of the hotel is best as we can go to the happening street even late in the night. Overall we had a very pleasant stay
Definitely stay here! This hotel was amazing for the price and has the most incredible spa (that you have free access to when staying there!) the rooms were spacious, they have fans, an amazing breakfast and again the spa!! Also the staff was super helpful and friendly.
Loved loved loved this hotel … the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Their spa and waters area had a nice vibe and gorgeous views. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The perfect place to relax and enjoy stunning views of the alps after a long day of hiking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa is lovely, although can get busy so would recommend a morning or later evening slot for a quieter experience. However the spa facilities and staff were excellent. Room was comfortable, stylish and clean with beautiful views....
We spent four nights here and had a thoroughly positive experience. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of Mont Blanc. Paid parking available in the area at 18 euro/24 hours. Good price in accordance to the services.
I had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc! The food was simply outstanding, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I knew this would be a different hotel experience when we entered the reception area and found 2 swings hanging from the ceiling! This place is designed for fun! We loved our stay at Plan B Hotel before and after the TMB. Sarah, at the front desk, was a highlight of our stay, delivering excellent service with genuine care. I recently stayed at Plan B Hotel in Chamonix in middle of summer and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory.

We really enjoyed our stay at La sapiniere hotel. Gabriel and the rest of the team did a spectacular job. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Thank you to the team. Looking forward to visiting again and will make.this our home in Chamonix. 5 stars for a 3 Star hotel. Michael
The room was quite worn out. It needs some painting, cleaning of the pillows on the sofa and around the roof window on the first floor. Toilet on the ground floor cannot flush 100%.
All staff were very helpful and kind. The apartment had a nice view to the mountains and is perfectly placed in the middle of the village. Check out at 10:00am is a little too early.
Hotel is very beautiful. I request a room in the first floor and they were very helpful with our luggage. Staff very friendly and sweet, always with a smile and good attitude. Rooms beautiful and the jacuzzi in the spa was the best way to end a day In Chamonix. The view of my room to the snow mountains. I’ll get back to this hotel on my next holidays
Couldn't ask for more. Very nice hotel, great view from the room and extremely friendly staff. If I had to nitpick on anything it would be that the breakfast is a bit overpriced for what you get. But it's very convenient and the overall experience great. I've definitely found my to-go-to hotel whenever I will be heading to Chamonix for hiking, skiing or paragliding!
This is a gem in the heart of Chamonix. The rooms are tasteful and classy - not pretentious. My view from the room was incredible, and I spent most of my time in there glancing at Mont Blanc. Chocolate shops to grocery stores were all within a few minutes walking from the hotel. Mathilde and Alexandra were particularly wonderful and extremely attentive and thoughtful. I'd return in a heart beat!
