Pointe Isabelle, Chamonix1 / 50

Chamonix, 165, Avenue Michel Croz 🧭 Map
Positive: Location is good, spacious rooms. Polite and nice staffs. Negative:The rooms beds are very uncomfortable, didn’t sleep most of the stay, and cleaning isn’t done properly (so much dust and dirt under the beds - it has been weeks since someone hoovered). The bed sheets are also very basic. The restaurant food is average for the price. A lot of staff members can’t speak French. No scramble...
Ponte Isabelle in Chamonix is a fantastic spot for a meal. The food is excellent, and the service is attentive and friendly. It's a great venue for a nice dinner or a casual meal after a day on the slopes. Highly recommend it!
Loved this hotel. We had a standard room. The rooms were large with a balcony and a great view (ask for a room facing the street). The bathroom had great space - with lots of space for your own toiletries. The lobby and bar area were lovely. The breakfast was quite good. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.
Very comfortable Hotel experience. It's not the Ritz-Carlton but I'm not paying those prices either! The staff was very helpful and friendly and the service was great. It's in a wonderful part of town with easy access and incredible views!!
I stayed here for almost a week. It’s a lovely place! The room I was in was fairly basic (3 twin beds), but it had a nice balcony with a little table and chairs. There were two of us sharing the room, and it was comfortable (bed was great, not too hard or soft!). Very clean. The sauna has a fantastic view of the mountains, and using it is included with your stay. A friend utilized the gym and liked...
Stayed here in January on a ski trip. Great hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Located close to the main restaurants and shops. Short walk to the ski lifts. Safe storage rooms for all ski gear and luggage if required. Views out the window are stunning. Would highly recommend.

The staff is a big highlight of our 3 night stay. So helpful, happy and eager to assist making our time in Chamonix excellent. They recommended all the right restaurants and tips on all things local. Thank you to the team. Looking forward to visiting again and will make.this our home in Chamonix. 5 stars for a 3 Star hotel. Michael
The room was quite worn out. It needs some painting, cleaning of the pillows on the sofa and around the roof window on the first floor. Toilet on the ground floor cannot flush 100%. All staff were very helpful and kind. The apartment had a nice view to the mountains and is perfectly placed in the middle of the village. Check out at 10:00am is a little too early.
Hotel is very beautiful. I request a room in the first floor and they were very helpful with our luggage. Staff very friendly and sweet, always with a smile and good attitude. Rooms beautiful and the jacuzzi in the spa was the best way to end a day In Chamonix. The view of my room to the snow mountains. I’ll get back to this hotel on my next holidays
Couldn't ask for more. Very nice hotel, great view from the room and extremely friendly staff. If I had to nitpick on anything it would be that the breakfast is a bit overpriced for what you get. But it's very convenient and the overall experience great. I've definitely found my to-go-to hotel whenever I will be heading to Chamonix for hiking, skiing or paragliding!
This is a gem in the heart of Chamonix. The rooms are tasteful and classy - not pretentious. My view from the room was incredible, and I spent most of my time in there glancing at Mont Blanc. Chocolate shops to grocery stores were all within a few minutes walking from the hotel. Mathilde and Alexandra were particularly wonderful and extremely attentive and thoughtful. I'd return in a heart beat!

Good quality hotel about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Chamonix. Spacious rooms with beautiful view, decent breakfast. The ladies at the front desk could be a little bit more friendly and helpful. Paid parking available in the area at 18 euro/24 hours. Good price in accordance to the services.
I had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc! The food was simply outstanding, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The attention to detail was impeccable, and you could tell that only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients were used. The service was equally exceptional—attentive, friendly, and truly made us feel welcome. To top...
I knew this would be a different hotel experience when we entered the reception area and found 2 swings hanging from the ceiling! This place is designed for fun! The ground floor has a bar, restaurant, casual seating, outdoor terrace with a view of Mont Blanc, board games, mini-bowling, pinball machines, Foosball, 2 toddler scooter cars, and more. It sounds like the makings for a frat house party,...
We loved our stay at Plan B Hotel before and after the TMB. Sarah, at the front desk, was a highlight of our stay, delivering excellent service with genuine care. She patiently answered all of our questions and pointed out Mont Blanc when the peak appeared between the clouds. Because of her, we looked forward to our return to the hotel at the end of our hike. The location to the buses, restaurants...
I recently stayed at Plan B Hotel in Chamonix in middle of summer and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. Firstly, the room had no air conditioning. While this might be due to local practices or sustainability efforts, there was nothing else provided in the room to help manage the heat, making for an uncomfortable stay during the hot summer days. Additionally, there was no fridge...
Group of four of us stayed in a 2 bed, bunk apartment. Room was smart and living area an OK size. Bunk room is very small and both bedrooms have very limited storage. One 60cm hanging rail and shelf in each. No coat rack for ski gear either. We lived out of bags. Breakfast wasn’t great value but the apartment kitchen had just about enough kit to cook our own. Good coffee machine! Bar and dining area...

After the initial anger of not being able to clearly find out from the staff if the hotel has a charging station due to a language barrier, the manager, Isabelle, was skilled enough to calm me down and explain everything to me in a mature, clear and very easy to understand manner. If it wasn't for her communication skills, I wouldn't give this place such high marks. The hotel itself is cosy and comfortable...
I arrived a day late, and I fully understood that my reservation was nonrefundable (we missed a connecting flight). The front desk was very responsive and helpful with advice for our overnight in Geneva, and they were welcoming when we did arrive the following day. We did not try the breakfast (15€pp). The sauna is also charged 15€pp. just fyi. The room was very clean, modern and nicely put together...
Nice hotel, pleasant service. We arrived in the morning and got ready to go to the mountains, we managed to leave our things, this is a big plus. There is a small bar and many restaurants nearby. The bed was very nice and clean. There was a kettle and tea/coffee in the room. This is a great solution for the morning to spend time with a hot drink on the balcony and a wonderful view. In the hole there...
Friendly and helpful staff at all times. Rooms a bit cosy but clean and comfortable. Lift / elevator to all floors, Bar, lounge, and "business" room. Reasonably large breakfast room and good buffet breakfast. A few minutes walk from "main street" Chamonix, and about 10 minutes almost level walk to the railway station.
Very nice and cozy hotel, clean and beautiful rooms, friendly staff. Located in the center of Chamonix close to all restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay there a lot!
Excellent views from the rooms, very good breakfast and skier services. The spa, ski room are excellent.

I stayed at this hotel before and after walking the TMB. I found the rooms to be comfortable and spacious, the breakfast to be delicious, and the staff to be friendly and helpful. The location was great - a 5 minute walk to the center of town, and a similar walk to the train station.
Jewel near the end of our trip. Everything was nice. Good room with balcony (east side straight onto mountains) and super breakfast. Already thinking to go and stay again.
Fantastic place to stay when visiting Chamonix. A quick walk from the centre. Lovely rooms. Great breakfast.
We really enjoyed our experience at Auberge du Manoir. They have a fun, tiny pool table in the lounge and a happy hour in the afternoon. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The only struggle is that the key system to the room is cumbersome. Our key fob was a big wooden heart that makes it awkward to carry around with you. Other than that minor inconvenience we really recommend this place to...
Everything about this hotel is perfect. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The lounge/bar area were very cozy, there is an outdoor hot tub, and everything is clean. The room was fantastic; it gave an authentic lodge vibe and was spacious. The location is great to walk around the town center. 10/10 experience!!
Had a great stay here at Chamonix! Room was nice and cosy and location was pretty good too! Slightly away from the city centre but nice and cosy spot for sure! The service of the staff was really good and they nicely held our luggage for a day while we did TMB! Warmly welcomed us back after the hike as well! Thank you!

We stayed here as a group of 24 people and had booked 12 rooms. We stayed for 3 nights; 2 nights before TMB Trek and 1 night after the trek. The rooms were neat and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the spread was really good, compared to European standards. The location of the hotel is best as we can go to the happening street even late in the night. Overall we had a very pleasant stay
Definitely stay here! This hotel was amazing for the price and has the most incredible spa (that you have free access to when staying there!) the rooms were spacious, they have fans, an amazing breakfast and again the spa!! Also the staff was super helpful and friendly.
Loved loved loved this hotel … the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Their spa and waters area had a nice vibe and gorgeous views. The massage by Matilda was exceptional - and just what I needed after 9 days of hiking. It is also a great location. We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet Hôtel le Prieuré. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as we could easily reach all the places we were interested in. We also liked the interior of the hotel and of our room. It was cozy and warm. The view from the balcony was amazing. The staff was very nice and attentive. On the negative side, it would have been great to have a mini fridge in the room...
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The perfect place to relax and enjoy stunning views of the alps after a long day of hiking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa is lovely, although can get busy so would recommend a morning or later evening slot for a quieter experience. However the spa facilities and staff were excellent. Room was comfortable, stylish and clean with beautiful views....
We spent four nights here and had a thoroughly positive experience. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of Mont Blanc. The breakfast was thoughtfully curated, offering a cozy atmosphere and delicious options. The spa experience was relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

A great Hotel with English staff, which makes it really easy! Totally delivers what it says on the can and friendly helpful staff!
Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Family run, with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food, with a particularly generous breakfast, cheese, and desert selection. Rooms are a bit basic but charming, and the bathrooms have been modernized throughout. Close to train and bus connections making it easy to get anywhere you want in the valley.
It was so wonderful to return to Hotel Aiguille du Midi after 15 years. The hotel is in the most beautiful of locations, with absolutely stunning mountain views on their doorstep. Fantastic family owned hotel. Every detail was looked after and the staff (mostly family) was passionate about making your stay memorable. Food for dinner and breakfast was the best! I would give 10 stars if allowed!

Good location, walking distance to most anything. Rooms are clean. Adequate for one or 2 nights stay for TMB. This review is for staying in August which is quite hot and hotel has no A/C, which makes you want to leave windows open and then the noise can be a problem, no matter which room you stay. You ether near the street, which will be noisy through out the night due to hotel's center location. Or...
Great stay before and after the TMB. The hotel offers free luggage storage in their basement, which was very useful. It isn't 100% secure (you just pop downstairs and add your luggage to the shelf) but luckily we didn't have any issues. Rooms are a little stuffy but we had large windows with a view of either the river or the mountains. No frills but very comfortable. The pub is very cute, great happy...
We had a one night stay here at the end of our TMB journey. It has a fab location right in the center of town. Our room was a good size with a nice hot shower. We were overlooking the river and it was so full and fast flowing I thought it would be difficult to sleep with the noise of it but just snuffed it was so tired!
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Valley Blanche. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the host, Alex, and felt right at home. That was much welcomed after a very LONG day of travel to get here! The location is perfect, being a close walk to both the train and bus stations. My room was right on the river, with beautiful views. The breakfast was superb! The experience at this hotel was great. The room was bigger than the picture, and the view was beautiful. There was an elevator, so I could move my luggage comfortably, and it was convenient because it was close to major attractions and restaurants such as cable cars. Alex at the reception was very kind to help me with the things I need at the hotel, so I'd like to visit again next time. Thank you
Couldn't be better. Huge room on water, clean, lovely shower. The manager Alex is super helpful. Within 50 ft. Of centre de Chamonix and near self sert laundry. Within 10-mimute walk to Chamonix -Sud bus station. I highly recommend this hotel.

Charming "old school" family run hotel with very friendly staff. Cosy, clean, wood panelled room with excellent views. Breakfast on the simple side but perfectly adequate. Very useful storage/drying room for skis/moutaineering equipment. The reception closes at 9 p.m - so if you are arriving late make sure you get the door code in advance!
A wonderful family run hotel in the heart of Chamonix. The location couldn't be better, as all the major attractions and best bars and restaurants are only a short walk away. Awesome hotel. It's located in the town centre, very close to a supermarket, bars, bakeries and pretty much everything. It's very clean and has outstanding views. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the breakfast which, from my point of view, isn't worth it.
