I had an excellent stay here an would definitely stay again! Extremely convenient location right in middle of Chamonix, very comfortable rooms, and excellent service with a luggage room where I was able to leave my things while checking out for a night to stay in a mountain hut. The hotel only has three stars but should have four. We paid extra for a room (fourth floor) with a view of Mont Blanc. When we arrived, it was raining. The following day was clearer and the following morning it was crystal clear. They only have SIX parking spaces, which must be booked in advance. Great time staying here. Staff were lovely, enjoyed the Sauna twice. Sauna is a good temperature, unlike some hotels which have them a bit too cold. You can hear your neighbors very well. There are no sockets - to charge your phone you have to turn off the TV. There is no refrigerator or air conditioner. It was a cozy and lovely place! It was really clean and tidy, but it was a pity that the water in the sink didn't drain well. Even so, the location, cleanliness, and coziness were all perfect. When the hotel owner's dog, a border collie, greeted me, it felt like I was in a mountain lodge. It was so nice. I will come here again on my next vacation.

Great view from our room looking out over the valley. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good and better than food we had in town. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. The hotel/restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. One caveat: it is a 10 minute Uphill walk from the center of town or you can drive.

We stayed at this lovely hotel in Chamonix at the beginning of September, in room 205 this time. The first time was last year! We highly recommend places like this if you’re looking for authenticity. Really nice hotel in the heart of Chamonix centre. Nice interior design in the room we lived in and apparently PERFECT noice isolation, because we were not once disturbed by the best after ski Chamonix has to offer just two floors below our window. The personnel was greasy and offered first class service and the food was magnificent.

Stayed at this gem of a hotel, not far from the main train station and 10 min walk to the bus terminal. A very good location, shops and restaurants are a plenty. The hotel is quite ok and we had a fairly big room, bed was comfy, decor was ok, bathroom a little antiquated, breakfast was ok but the dining room was dimly lit.

I recently stayed in the Langley Hotel Gustavia when visiting Chamonix. My room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the service and food was very good. I would definitely consider staying here again at this hotel.

The hotel appears to have recently been refurbished as it smells a little of paint & all the furnishings appear new. However, the refurbishment, furniture & design is simply not fit for purpose. Awesome, recently refurbished rooms. Great views of the mountains. Ideal location only 5 mins walk from the ski lift and free ski kit room!

The bed was comfortable and the decor was tasteful. Coffee machine was a plus. Free public parking is available nearby. Skiing is also convenient.

It apparently reopened I. June 2024 after a total refurbishment. Everything was excellent.

Very sympathic staff, very nice chalet. So cosy and charming. Best way to spend a really nice time in this gorgeous time. In winter, the chalet is right next to the slopes: 1 minutes to go there, unbelievable. In summer let's climb! The start path to "la mer de glace" is where the slopes are. The bus and the trainstation are near by. I recommand!

Chamonix has a great view and clean air. Highly recommended. It is the best place to see Mont Blanc and the Pochon Glacier. The Aiguille de Midi cable car is fantastic.

The hotel is just located next to the bus station. It is great if you will travel to other places by bus. There are some interesting entertainments you can pay to play such as bowling games. Inside the room, though there is no fridge, there is safe and water kettle. The room is simple but practical, and it is very clean.

We loved our stay here. The location was perfect, just off of Chamonix' main pedestrian street, and close to the bus stations to all of the main ski resorts. It was a much narrower space than I thought. The window was right above the bed, so when I opened the window, a dried, twisted spider fell out and I was surprised. The bathroom was also spacious, and it was a perfect hotel for a one or two-day stay.

We loved our stay at L'Oustalet. It is in a quiet street only 5 mins walk from the busy centre of Chamonix, the bus and train stations. It has free parking! I stayed 2 nights and I’m in love it’s so beautiful it’s an amazing 3 star hotel. Lots of wardrobe space, no fridge but I put my water in the balcony 😂 ❄️ They lady offered to get me a kettle and they have hot water on the bar in the evening if you want to make a drink. The beautiful tea room is a nice place to have a tea coffee cake 🍰

The room is very clean, the heating is sufficient, the boss has a very good service attitude and has a very cute puppy. The hotel's balcony has a nice view, the bathroom is clean and large, and there is a small bottle of mineral water prepared in the room. Overall, it is highly recommended.
