Pointe Isabelle Hotel, Chamonix1 / 50
8.4
Chamonix, 165, Avenue Michel Croz 🧭 Map
location is excellent, parking with charge. my room with a big balcony where we can see the beautiful mountains.
Beautiful hotel in Chamonix. Front desk was very friendly and allowed luggage storage before and after our tour. This is a G Adventures affiliate hotel, so lots of tour travelers coming through. No refrigerators or air conditioning the room. So ask the front desk to store your temperature sensitive items. And for a fan during hotter days. Room had a patio that opened to a lovely mountain view. Located...
We had a lovely 2-night stay at Pointe Isabelle in Chamonix. The hotel has a fantastic central location- just a short walk from the train station, with easy access to the main streets, lifts, and some beautiful hiking trails. The room was modern, clean, and sort of quiet considering how close it is to everything. Only downside - the blue light coming into the room from the terrace is very unpleasant...
I had an excellent stay here an would definitely stay again! Extremely convenient location right in middle of Chamonix, very comfortable rooms, and excellent service with a luggage room where I was able to leave my things while checking out for a night to stay in a mountain hut. They have a usable gym and breakfast is decent, although perhaps a little expensive but still not a bad deal. The one caveat...
The hotel only has three stars but should have four. We paid extra for a room (fourth floor) with a view of Mont Blanc. When we arrived, it was raining. The following day was clearer and the following morning it was crystal clear. They only have SIX parking spaces, which must be booked in advance. The nearest car park is 45 euros a day; one farther away is 22 euros a day. The dinner in the restaurant...
I am giving this hotel 5 stars primarily for it's service. Cami at the front desk is so welcoming, kind, and helpful. Lovely person! Even though the weather was partly terrible we had a fabulous stay. The location is a short walk to most of the attractions. Easy check in and check out as we were able to pull car up and we were able to grab complimentary parking not too far away. The rooms are small...

Great time staying here. Staff were lovely, enjoyed the Sauna twice. Sauna is a good temperature, unlike some hotels which have them a bit too cold. Table tennis and the bar were good, pool table has room for improvement. They even accommodated a small brekkie for us for our alpine starts on two days. Great views from the hotel.
Absolutely stunning! The staff feels like family and our server Ernest was so sweet. I have had multiple lunches here, played tennis, and enjoyed the pool. We even did a yoga in the garden. Favorite place to relax :)
We had a lovely room with balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely meal sitting outside on a nice warm summer evening.
Very nice family managed small hotel, great location. With easy access to the train station. The staff is very kind and helpful.
A great Hotel with English staff, which makes it really easy! Totally delivers what it says on the can and friendly helpful staff!
Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Family run, with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food, with a particularly generous breakfast, cheese, and desert selection. Rooms are a bit basic but charming, and the bathrooms have been modernized throughout. Close to train and bus connections making it easy to get anywhere you want in the valley.

The location was the best thing about this hotel and for my purposes
You can hear your neighbors very well. There are no sockets - to charge your phone you have to turn off the TV. There is no refrigerator or air conditioner. There are no hooks for towels in the bathroom. There is no mirror in the room, you have to go to the bathroom all the time ((( Pros: there is a kettle and tea-coffee-sugar on the floor. There is a balcony with flowers and a view. They answer letters...
The location is good, the price is reasonable, and the view from the room is amazing.
The room is clean and tidy. You can see the snow-capped mountains from the room. The scenery is beautiful. It is very convenient to the various ski resorts in Chamonix. There are also various French restaurants, grocery stores and beauty stores nearby.
After the initial anger of not being able to clearly find out from the staff if the hotel has a charging station due to a language barrier, the manager, Isabelle, was skilled enough to calm me down and explain everything to me in a mature, clear and very easy to understand manner. If it wasn't for her communication skills, I wouldn't give this place such high marks. The hotel itself is cosy and comfortable...
I arrived a day late, and I fully understood that my reservation was nonrefundable (we missed a connecting flight). The front desk was very responsive and helpful with advice for our overnight in Geneva, and they were welcoming when we did arrive the following day. We did not try the breakfast (15€pp). The sauna is also charged 15€pp. just fyi. The room was very clean, modern and nicely put together...

The property is centrally located . The staff is very co-operative and supportive. The view of the Alps from the bigger room was stunning One should surely check the room size as few rooms are pretty small
Perfect cozy hotel. Especially liked the attention to detail and the style of it. So many beautiful pieces of decor, placed everywhere with love. Something nostalgic felt about this place, some pieces of furniture may seem a bit old-fashioned (90s-2000s style), but it's used in a good way and it's definitely looked after, not shabby at all!!! Everything is clean. Moreover, the receptionist Franck was...
Central location, great parking and very helpful staff. Overpriced for what you get, no lift, bar closes at 9.00pm., thin walls and small room. Bathroom had sloping ceiling and for a man you could not stand straight to use the toilet.
This small boutique hotel was lovely with clean and well appointed rooms Windows opened with a view to Mont Blanc, And the common area in the entry and comfy bar was lovely. The setting was peaceful with gardens, a hot tub and areas to relax outdoors. I Highly recommend this hotel!
Perfect location in terms of transport, ski hire, and proximity to restaurants. Rooms were comfy and charming, staff very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely.
It was a cozy and lovely place! It was really clean and tidy, but it was a pity that the water in the sink didn't drain well. Even so, the location, cleanliness, and coziness were all perfect. When the hotel owner's dog, a border collie, greeted me, it felt like I was in a mountain lodge. It was so nice. I will come here again on my next vacation.

Great place if you're interested in skiing or hiking. A minute from the Brevent gondola. The place itself doesn't offer much besides a good breakfast and nice and large rooms - very good value for the price.
Great view from our room looking out over the valley. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good and better than food we had in town. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. The hotel/restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. One caveat: it is a 10 minute Uphill walk from the center of town or you can drive.

We stayed at this lovely hotel in Chamonix at the beginning of September, in room 205 this time. The first time was last year! We highly recommend places like this if you’re looking for authenticity. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is delicious, and the rooms are modern and comfortable. Thank you to the entire team for the great service—we truly felt at home in your hotel. Izabela and Kasper
Really nice hotel in the heart of Chamonix centre. Nice interior design in the room we lived in and apparently PERFECT noice isolation, because we were not once disturbed by the best after ski Chamonix has to offer just two floors below our window. The personnel was greasy and offered first class service and the food was magnificent.
Stayed at this gem of a hotel, not far from the main train station and 10 min walk to the bus terminal. A very good location, shops and restaurants are a plenty. The hotel is quite ok and we had a fairly big room, bed was comfy, decor was ok, bathroom a little antiquated, breakfast was ok but the dining room was dimly lit.
I recently stayed in the Langley Hotel Gustavia when visiting Chamonix. My room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the service and food was very good. I would definitely consider staying here again at this hotel.
The location is great. The staff are friendly but their local knowledge & advice is weak. The hotel appears to have recently been refurbished as it smells a little of paint & all the furnishings appear new. However, the refurbishment, furniture & design is simply not fit for purpose. The bed/matteress is way too soft & very uncomfortable. The so called double bed is actually 2 single beds pushed together...
Lovely hotel located opposite Chamonix Mont Blanc train station. Fantastic staff and a good breakfast is available from the restaurant attached to the hotel. The rooms are lovely and we were lucky to have a balcony with a mountain view. Lovely furnishings and fantastic bathroom.

Great place, friendly staff, will definitely return, only things that could be improved are price of Breakfast/dinner and Parking
Awesome, recently refurbished rooms. Great views of the mountains. Ideal location only 5 mins walk from the ski lift and free ski kit room!
The bed was comfortable and the decor was tasteful. Coffee machine was a plus. Free public parking is available nearby. Skiing is also convenient.
It apparently reopened I. June 2024 after a total refurbishment. Everything was excellent.

Simple but very friendly accommodation, pleasant welcome, on a day hike, we didn't miss anything, the picnics were ready on time (between dessert sandwich and sweet treats) what you need for a hike! To recommend ! From Metz (Moselle).
The views were amazing. Very close to town and a great staff.
Very sympathic staff, very nice chalet. So cosy and charming. Best way to spend a really nice time in this gorgeous time. In winter, the chalet is right next to the slopes: 1 minutes to go there, unbelievable. In summer let's climb! The start path to "la mer de glace" is where the slopes are. The bus and the trainstation are near by. I recommand!

Good location, nice service and garden, the spa is good too.
Chamonix has a great view and clean air. Highly recommended. It is the best place to see Mont Blanc and the Pochon Glacier. The Aiguille de Midi cable car is fantastic.
Good location with view and spa. But room relatively small and parking charge was ridiculous …
The hotel reception is very good and speaks multiple languages. The location is also very convenient. The scenery of the hotel is also very beautiful. When you open the window, you can see the snow-capped mountains. The hotel can also rent ski equipment
View from the hotel room was amazing! Staff were helpful and friendly! Only complaint was the pool and hot tub were a bit cold. 29th Nov - 1st Dec 2024

Amazing location with views of the Mont Blanc massiv out of our window! Really clean and comfortable
The hotel is just located next to the bus station. It is great if you will travel to other places by bus. There are some interesting entertainments you can pay to play such as bowling games. Inside the room, though there is no fridge, there is safe and water kettle. The room is simple but practical, and it is very clean.

We loved our stay here. The location was perfect, just off of Chamonix' main pedestrian street, and close to the bus stations to all of the main ski resorts. The views from our room where great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also fantastic, with fresh French pastries and other goodies provided daily.
We really enjoyed our stay at La sapiniere hotel. Gabriel and the rest of the team did a spectacular job. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Mandy and Patrick made us feel incredibly welcome. They were both so warm and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. This boutique hotel was perfect. Not only did they offer EV charging, private sauna or hot tub, and free parking. Also, the location was exactly what we wanted. Chamo getaway Staff are excellent - central but quiet, good breakfast, good sauna/spa - comfortable and hope to stay again next year
Fab hotel close to everything will definitely be returning. Only bad thing was the lack of light in our room.
It was a much narrower space than I thought. The window was right above the bed, so when I opened the window, a dried, twisted spider fell out and I was surprised. The bathroom was also spacious, and it was a perfect hotel for a one or two-day stay.

Good value for money And good location, just a little over 5min walk from ski shuttles.
The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the hotel itself was terrific! Would love to return for another visit in the future!
I stayed 2 nights and I’m in love it’s so beautiful it’s an amazing 3 star hotel. Lots of wardrobe space, no fridge but I put my water in the balcony 😂 ❄️ They lady offered to get me a kettle and they have hot water on the bar in the evening if you want to make a drink. Holiday village located in a very pleasant setting. Nevertheless the swimming pool deserves to be completely redone. The bottom of the latter is abrasive and the copings have deteriorated between periods of freezing and thawing.

I believe this was originally a single luxury home converted to an inn. Over the years the owners have spent much effort into brining it up to three star hotel status. Excellent location that might be described as the rim of the town center. The ST. Michel church...

Really enjoyed our stay in resort and this hotel which located just off main shopping and restaurant/bar area. Owners very friendly. Some building work going on during our stay, but managed to get into room after climbing over wet concrete 😀. Thanks owners.👍
The room is very clean, the heating is sufficient, the boss has a very good service attitude and has a very cute puppy. The hotel's balcony has a nice view, the bathroom is clean and large, and there is a small bottle of mineral water prepared in the room. Overall, it is highly recommended. This place is amazing! I stayed with my friends traveling abroad and the staff was so kind and helpful. The property felt clean, safe, and was in the perfect location for skiing and shopping!
Wonderful stay We requested Mountain View’s which were stunning and quieter than lower rooms. Spacious living and sleeping arrangement, even with our own Christmas tree. Excellent stay. Everything we needed. The view of Mont Blanc was really good, and the location is excellent. The only slight negative was we found the upstairs to be really warm, almost uncomfortably warm during the night.
Good location I’ve stayed here in the past and the level of service and quality was higher in the past. There was more care and attention to detail.
