There is a bus stop right next door that will take you to Geneva, Paris or Annecy, so you don't have to rush out early in the morning. The hotel itself is nice too.

Great time staying here. Staff were lovely, enjoyed the Sauna twice. Sauna is a good temperature, unlike some hotels which have them a bit too cold. Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Family run, with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food, with a particularly generous breakfast, cheese, and desert selection. Rooms are a bit basic but charming, and the bathrooms have been modernized throughout. Close to train and bus connections making it easy to get anywhere you want in the valley.

After a rocky start in Chamonix (in different accommodation) we then had the best 24hrs of our trip around France during our stay here! I enjoyed my visit. The breakfast was superb with many many choices. The spa was also a nice place to relax at the end of the day. You can contact the hotel for parking. The car must be not high and not big to park underground at the hotel. There is a charge but it is convenient. It is recommended to contact and reserve a parking space in advance. Even though you can check in at 4:00 PM, you can walk around the city or take the train first. We had a lovely 2-night stay at Pointe Isabelle in Chamonix. The hotel has a fantastic central location- just a short walk from the train station, with easy access to the main streets, lifts, and some beautiful hiking trails. The room was modern, clean, and sort of quiet considering how close it is to everything. Only downside - the blue light coming into the room from the terrace is very unpleasant...

Amazing location and view. Restaurant menu not the greatest but the hotel is extremely close to Chamonix, and the hotel provides public transportation passes in case you are travelling without a car. Great amenities.

Pool wasnt warm so wasnt as nice as I had hoped. Would if loved a sauna at the hotel over a jacuzzi, that again wasnt warm. Good breakfast! Definitely worth the extra to get you fuelled for the slopes. I 100% would recommend hiring a car, we managed to venture to other ski slopes and get home when we wanted to rather than having to go vis the bus timetable. If you book a room that does not state garden view, it may well be directly facing busy highway. If the weather is hot, and since the rooms do not have aircon, your choice is either a hot or noisy night. This is something the hotel should be more forthcoming. How about installing aircon to the highway facing units? MGM is otherwise a fine property with many positives.

The hotel is just located next to the bus station. It is great if you will travel to other places by bus. There are some interesting entertainments you can pay to play such as bowling games. Inside the room, though there is no fridge, there is safe and water kettle. The room is simple but practical, and it is very clean.

We had lunch on a visit to Chamonix. The place is nice and cozy, lots of Ferrari pictures and Italian themed as it was an Italian restaurant. I had the seafood risotto and it was amazing. I highly recommend thos spot but be aware of ski season as it can get packed.
