Great hotel, great spa, perfect location, stayed here last year and had to cancel my reservation this year that I booked for the whole family at the last moment because my father had an accident, although I didn’t had any rights for a full reimbursement, they said no problem, and wished my father well, will definitely return here next year, thanks Juliette!

Started and finished our TMB trek here - they allowed us to check in early and held a bag while we did the tour. Very convenient to the bus terminal.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is a nice hotel. The rooms were ok but comfortable. The restaurant was nice with a very generous breakfast with many choices. The bar was very comfortable and the service was very friendly. The outdoor area was nice with good seating. It is also a good location with a short walk to the gondola and the down town area. Customer service was excellent. The front desk was able to get me into my room early which I very much appreciated. The rooms are not what I would expect from a four star hotel. After a long, 15 hour day of travel, Hôtel Le Refuge des Aiglons was exactly what my friend and I needed. It was so cute and cozy. We spent a wonderful weekend here. We counted on the pool for pleasing the kids and we were not wrong. The hotel is quite nice, modern with lots of activities proposed on spot. Weak point from me: there are 2 building wings, if you don't ask for the one which has the pool on -1 floor, then you have to pass through the reception hall dressed for the swimming , smiling to tourists checking in or out...

Positive: Location is good, spacious rooms. Polite and nice staffs. Negative:The rooms beds are very uncomfortable, didn’t sleep most of the stay, and cleaning isn’t done properly (so much dust and dirt under the beds - it has been weeks since someone hoovered). Ponte Isabelle in Chamonix is a fantastic spot for a meal. The food is excellent, and the service is attentive and friendly. It's a great venue for a nice dinner or a casual meal after a day on the slopes. Highly recommend it!

Loved this hotel. We had a standard room. The rooms were large with a balcony and a great view (ask for a room facing the street). The bathroom had great space - with lots of space for your own toiletries. The lobby and bar area were lovely. The breakfast was quite good. The staff were very friendly. I stayed here for almost a week. It’s a lovely place! The room I was in was fairly basic (3 twin beds), but it had a nice balcony with a little table and chairs. Stayed here in January on a ski trip. Great hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Located close to the main restaurants and shops. Short walk to the ski lifts. Safe storage rooms for all ski gear and luggage if required. Views out the window are stunning. Would highly recommend.

Very cozy hotel. Service was great, you can feel at home. Super calm since it's a little bit far from the center and the central road. Not easy to access to city center or slopes if you don't have a car. (you'll have to rely on taxis). The hotel itself is great though!

We did some hiking trips around Charmonix and decided for this cozy hotel with an amazing restaurant “le rosebud”, a nice spa with two saunas, two whirlpools and a big swimming pool. The team was very friendly and supportive when we asked about nice hiking trips. We had an amazing time and can highly recommend this hotel. (September 2022)

Lovely place with beautiful furnishings, excellent food, amenities including sauna, hot tub, spa, and tennis, under the supervision of people who really seem to want you to have a good time.

The hotel was cozy and they were very polite but there were two problems. 1 we tried to leave early for a hike but the door was closed but it was solved quickly. 2 they said the price for the dog was complimentary but at checkout it was not, they said it was a misunderstanding.

While the hotel facilities looked good we chose the hotel last minute as we were passing through chamonix and wanted somewhere with aircon as it was very warm. Sadly we weren't informed that the air conditioning was broken. It was too hot to try the restaurant and we had a terrible nights sleep due to the heat. Finally at 5am we gave up and left. Disappointing.

We enjoyed at our recent Easter break stay at this hotel. The staff was excellent, hotel was very welcoming and in a quiet area. We stayed here for 6 nights in the beautiful Chalet Soli. Like a perfect little gingerbread house. Parking underneath (for free). Tiny issue with the air con as we were the first people there since the weather turned hot but the hotel management handled it beautifully and it was fixed the next day. Everything about this hotel ( rooms, service, food, ambiance, spa) was great. When I had a sore throat from lunch, the chef was happy to make me a pot of vegetable soup specially for lunch and have it brought to the room. I can’t get over our stay in this hotel! You get the best view of the mountains with the coziest atmosphere you will ever experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend the hotel enough! Welcoming and attentive service! Beautiful rooms (Room 208 was spacious with a great view). Great location within a few minutes of the center of town and very short walk to the train station! Intimate and chic bar! Accommodating shuttle service!

This hotel is fantastic for its design and amenities, but one thing puts it far above the rest. The service is possibly the best I have ever experienced. Not only did the staff energetically assist my trip, they also went above and beyond to fill in the gaps that occur in most itineraries. This is a must-have experience for those who enjoy Chamonix. Away from the hustle and bustle of the centre, this gem of a hotel deserves the uphill walk. The staff is incredible and the food is just perfect... they even put together a picnic basket for us to take up the mountain because we couldn't make it in time for lunch... Warmly recommend a stay and if you can't stay there, at least try the restaurant...

We stayed for three nights, very nice people at the hotel and our garden patio with a view was lovely. Everything was great with the exception that the blanket was much too thick for summer and I was totally surprised that breakfast was not included. This was a really great spot and off the beaten path, which was nice while the area gets busier. There were lots activities for kids set up during the summer months with giant trampolines, rope bridges, lots of space to run and be a kid. I think this is a great idea. The hotel is very nice, the activities are very entertaining and the treatment of the staff is good. It lacks to remove the "low cost" feel. The access rooms are too "shabby" even considering the price. The idea of charging 100 euros deposit is very bad. The water in the pool is cold, the food in the restaurant can be improved, etc.... They can get much more out of it

My husband loves this hotel he went to it twice and made sure to take me to it for his third visit. Nice hotel with lovely staff. Great location as a skiing slope is right in front of it and the center is a one minute walk. They have nice shows every night. Great location with friendly staff. Front desk gave us complimentary reusable water bottles to fill from the water fountain to fight plastic waste. The location is amazing, just a couple of minutes walk to the market. The not so good, rooms are small, bed made us itchy and the water pressure from the shower is average.

Wow, hotel looks like a typical 1970’s building from the outside … not promising. But from the inside, it’s stylish, nicely renovated and really unique. This is true not only for the rooms but also for bar and restaurant. Eating in the restaurant was good but not exceptional. But I really enjoyed the stay.

Everything is walkable in Chamonix so no complaints on location. Parking was confusing but they do have parking (25 euros/day), but it gets taken quickly. There is a lot close by that the hotel team will direct you to if you are driving (believe it was 21 euro max per day). The room was quite worn out. It needs some painting, cleaning of the pillows on the sofa and around the roof window on the first floor. Toilet on the ground floor cannot flush 100%. All staff were very helpful and kind. The apartment had a nice view to the mountains and is perfectly placed in the middle of the village. Check out at 10:00am is a little too early.

Couldn't ask for more. Very nice hotel, great view from the room and extremely friendly staff. If I had to nitpick on anything it would be that the breakfast is a bit overpriced for what you get. But it's very convenient and the overall experience great. I've definitely found my to-go-to hotel whenever I will be heading to Chamonix for hiking, skiing or paragliding!

This is a gem in the heart of Chamonix. The rooms are tasteful and classy - not pretentious. My view from the room was incredible, and I spent most of my time in there glancing at Mont Blanc. Chocolate shops to grocery stores were all within a few minutes walking from the hotel. Mathilde and Alexandra were particularly wonderful and extremely attentive and thoughtful. I'd return in a heart beat!

The picture of relaxation! Every single thing was considered and accommodated for. The entire staff, down to the house keeping, was absolutely lovely. We'd happily recommend these flats.

Great sized family rooms, nice pool and spa, along with sauna and steam room, had a great stay there only flaw was that the nearest ski lift was a 15 minute bus ride away, but only a 10 minute walk from town

Love it, condo located steps from Aiguille du midi lift. New and beautiful for a short stay with a Coop market and gas station across the street from the condo. Has a gym and swimming pool.

Nice hotel with mountain views. Has got a nice restaurant and a bar. Right next to it they have a place where they rent all accessories for ski. Rooms are nice. Staff is well behaved. Breakfast has good choice for vegetarians as well. Right next to the railway station and very near to mountain railway cable car. Works for tourists. Rooms are good.

My son and I stayed here for a weekend of skiing in February. It is a very comfortable and pleasant hotel with excellent service, very nice rooms, and a wonderful little spa. Easy walking distance from the Grandes Montets lifts. Very nice atmosphere and the owners are very nice. My son fell in the lift parking lot, and the owner kindly offered to wash his ski pants. Friendly owners. Our room was quite small with little privacy as the one window/door to the outside faced the dining and common area in the garden where the children were playing. Our room was also quite hot with no way to cool it other than opening the door to the shared garden. Plenty of parking and a nice part of the world to visit.

The rooms are pretty simplistic for the price, but you have to keep in mind that Chamonix is a tourist destination so the prices are higher in general. Everyone working at the hotel is so friendly and kind; we didn’t speak any French but they always endeavored to help us in both English and Spanish, and I even forgot my backpack on the way out and they immediately called and texted me to let me know...

The hotel is run by a nice family, it's located on a quiet residential street, there is a bus stop right next to the hotel and another bus and train stop within less than 10 minute walk. Technically you can walk to downtown too, it's about 20 minutes to the center. Parking is small (5 cars max) on gravel/grass, next to the hotel. I recently stayed at Plan B Hotel in Chamonix in middle of summer and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. Firstly, the room had no air conditioning. While this might be due to local practices or sustainability efforts, there was nothing else provided in the room to help manage the heat, making for an uncomfortable stay during the hot summer days. Group of four of us stayed in a 2 bed, bunk apartment. Room was smart and living area an OK size. Bunk room is very small and both bedrooms have very limited storage. One 60cm hanging rail and shelf in each. No coat rack for ski gear either. We lived out of bags. Breakfast wasn’t great value but the apartment kitchen had just about enough kit to cook our own. After the initial anger of not being able to clearly find out from the staff if the hotel has a charging station due to a language barrier, the manager, Isabelle, was skilled enough to calm me down and explain everything to me in a mature, clear and very easy to understand manner. I arrived a day late, and I fully understood that my reservation was nonrefundable (we missed a connecting flight). The front desk was very responsive and helpful with advice for our overnight in Geneva, and they were welcoming when we did arrive the following day. We did not try the breakfast (15€pp). Friendly and helpful staff at all times. Rooms a bit cosy but clean and comfortable. Lift / elevator to all floors, Bar, lounge, and "business" room. Reasonably large breakfast room and good buffet breakfast. A few minutes walk from "main street" Chamonix, and about 10 minutes almost level walk to the railway station.

We had an excellent stay at Grands Montets. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view. The pool and hot tub were so relaxing. The only issue we had was that during the summer, it's a decent walk from the hotel into Argentiere to get dinner, etc. and it's through a large parking lot / trailer park.

My family of five had the pleasure to travel to les Chalets Grands Montets twice. To be clear, these are the three cottages you can rent; not the bigger hotel that is nearby. We stayed both times at le chalet de Paul. Three bedrooms, two full baths, one extra bathroom, a garage, a fireplace, a sauna, full kitchen, laundry room; the set up is great. It is a 3 min walk to the Grands Montets chairlift...

Les Chalets Grands Montets was a wonderful stay. The location is superb, literally 2 minute walk to the lifts, 10 minutes to the main street. The Chalet itself was absolutely lovely, well furnished, extremely homely and comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful. Once again, wonderful chalet, wonderful holiday.

Visited friends who had rented. An eclectic experience. Most very attractive alpine with good amenities. Pasted on top like an excresence bricks and ironwork that looked at though lifted from a one star restaurant in Andalusia. Whoever came up with that horror?

I stayed at this hotel before and after walking the TMB. I found the rooms to be comfortable and spacious, the breakfast to be delicious, and the staff to be friendly and helpful. The location was great - a 5 minute walk to the center of town, and a similar walk to the train station.

The service of the staff was really good and they nicely held our luggage for a day while we did TMB! Warmly welcomed us back after the hike as well! Thank you!

We stayed here as a group of 24 people and had booked 12 rooms. We stayed for 3 nights; 2 nights before TMB Trek and 1 night after the trek. The rooms were neat and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the spread was really good, compared to European standards. The location of the hotel is best as we can go to the happening street even late in the night. Overall we had a very pleasant stay

Definitely stay here! This hotel was amazing for the price and has the most incredible spa (that you have free access to when staying there!) the rooms were spacious, they have fans, an amazing breakfast and again the spa!! Also the staff was super helpful and friendly.

Loved loved loved this hotel … the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Their spa and waters area had a nice vibe and gorgeous views. The massage by Matilda was exceptional - and just what I needed after 9 days of hiking. It is also a great location. We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet Hôtel le Prieuré. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as we could easily reach all the places we were interested in. We also liked the interior of the hotel and of our room. It was cozy and warm. The view from the balcony was amazing. The staff was very nice and attentive. On the negative side, it would have been great to have a mini fridge in the room...

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The perfect place to relax and enjoy stunning views of the alps after a long day of hiking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa is lovely, although can get busy so would recommend a morning or later evening slot for a quieter experience. However the spa facilities and staff were excellent. We spent four nights here and had a thoroughly positive experience. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of Mont Blanc. It's our last night tonight here. The place is very clean and flats well equipped. We enjoyed our stay. The bus stop is about 2 minutes walk. The place is not directly by the slopes but it is in the middle between la praz and argentier. You can order bread from reception which is great as fresh bread every morning is a good touch. There is a kettle and Nespresso machine for a coffee. Swimming pool...

Brand New apartment hotel, comfortable, parking underneath. Very helpful English speaking staff. Fully equipped, quiet.
