The hotel was cozy and they were very polite but there were two problems. 1 we tried to leave early for a hike but the door was closed but it was solved quickly. 2 they said the price for the dog was complimentary but at checkout it was not, they said it was a misunderstanding.
While the hotel facilities looked good we chose the hotel last minute as we were passing through chamonix and wanted somewhere with aircon as it was very warm. Sadly we weren't informed that the air conditioning was broken. It was too hot to try the restaurant and we had a terrible nights sleep due to the heat. Finally at 5am we gave up and left. Disappointing.
Very helpful staff 👍🏼Loved the pool-Jacuzzi, the mountain view & the bar. I didn't try the restaurant but they were serving local specials when I was there. A big Thank You!
Location was great for access to the motorway. Staff were nice and pool.and sauna we're fine. Rooms were small and old.
Wonderful hotel, fantastic staff and always willing to help. Would highly recommend staying here.
We enjoyed at our recent Easter break stay at this hotel. The staff was excellent, hotel was very welcoming and in a quiet area. The breakfast was very enjoyable and especially the kids had an amazing time at Hotel Mercure Chamonix les Bossons. On arrival we were warmly welcomed, and given a free upgrade. We had filled in a pre stay survey and been given lots of tips, this was a nice touch. Our rooms...

The picture of relaxation! Every single thing was considered and accommodated for. The entire staff, down to the house keeping, was absolutely lovely. We'd happily recommend these flats.
Great place, great staff! Definitely my favorite spot in Chamonix.
Lovely
Great sized family rooms, nice pool and spa, along with sauna and steam room, had a great stay there only flaw was that the nearest ski lift was a 15 minute bus ride away, but only a 10 minute walk from town
Amazing facilities. Immaculate rooms and very kind staff. Cannot wait to stay again.
The HOTEL is nice but the wheelchair is disgusting

We stayed here for 6 nights in the beautiful Chalet Soli. Like a perfect little gingerbread house. Parking underneath (for free). Tiny issue with the air con as we were the first people there since the weather turned hot but the hotel management handled it beautifully and it was fixed the next day. The casual restaurant is beautiful… we didn’t get a chance to eat at the posh one but spoke to another...
This is a beautiful hotel, an oasis tucked into central Chamonix. We stayed on the first and last nights of our hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc. Both times we arrived early (once in the mid-morning) and our room was ready. Staff were excellent—friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were spacious, including lots of storage, and had excellent views. They have an excellent breakfast buffet, which included...
Everything about this hotel ( rooms, service, food, ambiance, spa) was great. When I had a sore throat from lunch, the chef was happy to make me a pot of vegetable soup specially for lunch and have it brought to the room. The steam room, sauna, and pool were very relaxing, and the food was excellent.
I can’t get over our stay in this hotel! You get the best view of the mountains with the coziest atmosphere you will ever experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I did not take many pictures of the room, but if you are looking for something cozy and luxurious this is your spot!! I don’t regret booking here, best times ever at this place. Dont miss out on their breakfast...
Can’t recommend the hotel enough! Welcoming and attentive service! Beautiful rooms (Room 208 was spacious with a great view). Great location within a few minutes of the center of town and very short walk to the train station! Intimate and chic bar! Accommodating shuttle service!
This hotel is fantastic for its design and amenities, but one thing puts it far above the rest. The service is possibly the best I have ever experienced. Not only did the staff energetically assist my trip, they also went above and beyond to fill in the gaps that occur in most itineraries. Their free shuttle to and from the slopes made the skiing so easy. They even assisted with some logistical solutions...

Started and finished our TMB trek here - they allowed us to check in early and held a bag while we did the tour. Very convenient to the bus terminal.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is a nice hotel. The rooms were ok but comfortable. The restaurant was nice with a very generous breakfast with many choices. The bar was very comfortable and the service was very friendly. The outdoor area was nice with good seating. It is also a good location with a short walk to the gondola and the down town area. Good place to stay in Chamonix.
Customer service was excellent. The front desk was able to get me into my room early which I very much appreciated. The rooms are not what I would expect from a four star hotel. The lighting is very poor and the brown shag carpeting is very out of date. The picture doesn’t really reflect how dark the room is. It’s much darker in person than the picture shows My room was on the roadside and as others...
After a long, 15 hour day of travel, Hôtel Le Refuge des Aiglons was exactly what my friend and I needed. It was so cute and cozy. Everyone at the front desk was kind (and patient as we called down to ask how the shower worked) and the waitstaff at the restaurant was so charming and friendly -- especially Malcolm! Plus the tiramisu was incredible. Yes, the rooms were small, but they were clean, and...
Great location in Chamonix for skiing . .rental shop down stairs was ideal and bus stop across the road made things easy. Lovely stay at this hotel. Katia checked us in, she was extremely kind and helpful. The room was lively, great bed, hot showers, and we slept with the windows open for some cool fresh mountain air. Very nice breakfast as well.
Why the 5⭐️ Rating? Customer service was personable, friendly and professional. The hotel was quaint, elegant and peaceful. The rooms we stayed in one facing the pedestrian walkway and one facing the river and mountains- incredible for the unique views. The rooms were tasteful and comfortable. The spa 👏was fantastic and we felt like we were royalty. If you have never had a Kir Royal, try one while...
the best hotel i have ever been to. the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, i swear to god if you asked for a baby polar bear in your tub, they would try and find one for you. truly a magical and wonderful time.
We had a MAGICAL experience at Grand Hotel Des Alpes! Everything was perfect! The room and the bed were very comfortable, we saw French Alps from our windows. The staff was very sweet and attentive, all our requests were fulfilled. I was also impressed by COVID-19 measures at the Grand Hotel Des Alpes. Everything was organized so well that we haven’t even seen anyone during our stay! We were alone...
Great location. Right in the centre of town. Walk out to all the stores and restaurants. Rooms is quite small but beds are very comfortable.
This is our favorite hotel in Chamonix. Sumptuous Italianate styling, wonderful breakfast, pool, location in the heart of Chamonix, and superb staff--always so friendly and gracious.

Stylish hotel with a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff, great spa. Will definitely use again.
The hotel is beautiful and has all the services, the reception is very helpful, the lobby is spacious, there are some free drinks, the swimming pool is wonderful, and the views are beautiful; The place isn’t soundproof , and there are very few bathroom kit in the bathroom and the hotel is expensive
We had a great time! We have no complaints, everything was perfect :) A great welcome, top-notch staff, a very generous breakfast, a relaxing atmosphere, the hotel is well located ... We will be back!
We booked a Valentines weekend at the Heliopic Hotel in the middle of Covid and the staff did a great job of making our stay comfortable, romantic, and somewhat normal 😊 The location is central and you can walk everywhere. Even though it’s next to a road on the map, it’s a little 2 lane and there’s no noise, our balcony was overlooking and I’m a very light sleeper, 0 noise 👌 The style is modern and...
Amazing place, highly recommended! Very nice staff, rooms, lobby. The hotel was made with the attention to the details, what I aprecciate. Cold cave in the spa is awesome). Just mind the fact it's child friendly so the are a lot of children everywhere). Some small things that can be improved: the breakfast is the same at all days and barely has any vegetables. At the breakfast time the staff is cleaning...
We spent a wonderful weekend here. We counted on the pool for pleasing the kids and we were not wrong. The hotel is quite nice, modern with lots of activities proposed on spot. Weak point from me: there are 2 building wings, if you don't ask for the one which has the pool on -1 floor, then you have to pass through the reception hall dressed for the swimming , smiling to tourists checking in or out...

Best accommodation we’ve ever had in our life !!!! It’s piece of heaven. So lovely. Great restaurant. Good breakfast. Super nice people. Can’t say more. Thanks guys for the memories you made for us. No way could be better!!! Loved it. Will go back again.
everything. the location, the views we can see from there, the food.
Very cozy hotel. Service was great, you can feel at home. Super calm since it's a little bit far from the center and the central road. Not easy to access to city center or slopes if you don't have a car. (you'll have to rely on taxis). The hotel itself is great though!
We did some hiking trips around Charmonix and decided for this cozy hotel with an amazing restaurant “le rosebud”, a nice spa with two saunas, two whirlpools and a big swimming pool. The team was very friendly and supportive when we asked about nice hiking trips. We had an amazing time and can highly recommend this hotel. (September 2022)
Amazing experience. Exquisite decorations, very clean rooms and facilities, wonderful food and services in the restaurant. Had a great massage too.

My son and I stayed here for a weekend of skiing in February. It is a very comfortable and pleasant hotel with excellent service, very nice rooms, and a wonderful little spa. Easy walking distance from the Grandes Montets lifts. Very nice atmosphere and the owners are very nice. My son fell in the lift parking lot, and the owner kindly offered to wash his ski pants. Really lovely. Highly recommended...
Friendly owners. Our room was quite small with little privacy as the one window/door to the outside faced the dining and common area in the garden where the children were playing. Our room was also quite hot with no way to cool it other than opening the door to the shared garden. Plenty of parking and a nice part of the world to visit.

A wonderful hotel with a view to die for facing mount blanc on 180 degrees ⛰️ staff are very welcoming and always ready to help. Food is fantastics with fresh breads and pastries baked every morning... highly recommended for a memorable getaway 😉
We were very lucky to get a table for lunch at Auberge Du Bois Prin. Don’t think twice about eating at a hotel. An absolute amazing place to stay! The views are unbelievable and the service is top notch. The best mountain hotel I’ve stayed at. Look no further, just book here!
This is a must-have experience for those who enjoy Chamonix. Away from the hustle and bustle of the centre, this gem of a hotel deserves the uphill walk. The staff is incredible and the food is just perfect... they even put together a picnic basket for us to take up the mountain because we couldn't make it in time for lunch... Warmly recommend a stay and if you can't stay there, at least try the restaurant...
We stayed for three nights, very nice people at the hotel and our garden patio with a view was lovely. Ojisang was super nice.. We had blessed time in Chamonix. Chet was little bit far from the city however easy to access to everywhere.
Room is not clean and is aging and bed is uncomfortable. The next day I even have back pain. The prices is not fighting back.
I think it is the best chalet for people who want to enjoy chamony for a long time with their peers. The owner, Mr. Kanda, is also a friendly person, who will consult with us. The view from the room is also great.
Good chalet.
Beautiful little chalet.. great views, clean with everything you need..love to this place
Japanese-owned pension. The staff is all Japanese. There is no worry of words. Although it is a little away from the center of the city, it is quiet for a minute. Mr. Kanda, the Lord, is a very famous person in the field.

I Stayed at Hotel Aiguille Du midi for one month, which is the longest I’ve ever stayed at a hotel while travelling o/s This time around I didn’t even get through all of the hikes that I could have! Straight from walking threw the door, everyone was so kind and attentive. Looking after our every need. The food was amazing. Home made and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Couldn't recommend it enough
We just came here to eat something after a walk. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed (it closes at 14:00). The location is ideal, service was very friendly and we really enjoyed our time here. Ideal for our children (small playground by our table) and for our dog. Highly recommended.
Honestly, it would be hard to give less than 5 stars. This family run place is just in a quiet and beatiful fraction just outside Chamonix that makes it perfect base for stunning hikes, relax and even paragliding. The staff is simply lovely and they helped us above and beyond for our stay. While recommending, will come back again to try climbing up to the glacier I see out from my window. Great for...

Great location with friendly staff. Front desk gave us complimentary reusable water bottles to fill from the water fountain to fight plastic waste. The location is amazing, just a couple of minutes walk to the market. The not so good, rooms are small, bed made us itchy and the water pressure from the shower is average.
Wow, hotel looks like a typical 1970’s building from the outside … not promising. But from the inside, it’s stylish, nicely renovated and really unique. This is true not only for the rooms but also for bar and restaurant. Eating in the restaurant was good but not exceptional. But I really enjoyed the stay.
Everything is walkable in Chamonix so no complaints on location. Parking was confusing but they do have parking (25 euros/day), but it gets taken quickly. There is a lot close by that the hotel team will direct you to if you are driving (believe it was 21 euro max per day). The spa is only 1 hour per person per booking, nice facilities but would like to use the space a little longer. It is a big hotel...

I stayed at this hotel before and after walking the TMB. I found the rooms to be comfortable and spacious, the breakfast to be delicious, and the staff to be friendly and helpful. The location was great - a 5 minute walk to the center of town, and a similar walk to the train station.
Jewel near the end of our trip. Everything was nice. Good room with balcony (east side straight onto mountains) and super breakfast. Already thinking to go and stay again.
Fantastic place to stay when visiting Chamonix. A quick walk from the centre. Lovely rooms. Great breakfast.
We really enjoyed our experience at Auberge du Manoir. They have a fun, tiny pool table in the lounge and a happy hour in the afternoon. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The only struggle is that the key system to the room is cumbersome. Our key fob was a big wooden heart that makes it awkward to carry around with you. Other than that minor inconvenience we really recommend this place to...
Everything about this hotel is perfect. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The lounge/bar area were very cozy, there is an outdoor hot tub, and everything is clean. The room was fantastic; it gave an authentic lodge vibe and was spacious. The location is great to walk around the town center. 10/10 experience!!
Had a great stay here at Chamonix! Room was nice and cosy and location was pretty good too! Slightly away from the city centre but nice and cosy spot for sure!
