Great hotel, great spa, perfect location, stayed here last year and had to cancel my reservation this year that I booked for the whole family at the last moment because my father had an accident, although I didn’t had any rights for a full reimbursement, they said no problem, and wished my father well, will definitely return here next year, thanks Juliette!
Superb experience Best view of alps Rooms size are good. 3 people can fit in confortably Hotel good and bar menu is good and normal price
Started and finished our TMB trek here - they allowed us to check in early and held a bag while we did the tour. Very convenient to the bus terminal.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is a nice hotel. The rooms were ok but comfortable. The restaurant was nice with a very generous breakfast with many choices. The bar was very comfortable and the service was very friendly. The outdoor area was nice with good seating. It is also a good location with a short walk to the gondola and the down town area. Good place to stay in Chamonix.
Customer service was excellent. The front desk was able to get me into my room early which I very much appreciated. The rooms are not what I would expect from a four star hotel. The lighting is very poor and the brown shag carpeting is very out of date. The picture doesn’t really reflect how dark the room is. It’s much darker in person than the picture shows My room was on the roadside and as others...
After a long, 15 hour day of travel, Hôtel Le Refuge des Aiglons was exactly what my friend and I needed. It was so cute and cozy. Everyone at the front desk was kind (and patient as we called down to ask how the shower worked) and the waitstaff at the restaurant was so charming and friendly -- especially Malcolm! Plus the tiramisu was incredible. Yes, the rooms were small, but they were clean, and...

Nice hotel at Chamonix! Quiet place, but with only a few kilometers from busy area. Hear the bird singing and wind chimes in every morning. Ps you better self drive to get there
Best accommodation we’ve ever had in our life !!!! It’s piece of heaven. So lovely. Great restaurant. Good breakfast. Super nice people. Can’t say more. Thanks guys for the memories you made for us. No way could be better!!! Loved it. Will go back again.
Very cozy hotel. Service was great, you can feel at home. Super calm since it's a little bit far from the center and the central road. Not easy to access to city center or slopes if you don't have a car. (you'll have to rely on taxis). The hotel itself is great though!
We did some hiking trips around Charmonix and decided for this cozy hotel with an amazing restaurant “le rosebud”, a nice spa with two saunas, two whirlpools and a big swimming pool. The team was very friendly and supportive when we asked about nice hiking trips. We had an amazing time and can highly recommend this hotel. (September 2022)
Amazing experience. Exquisite decorations, very clean rooms and facilities, wonderful food and services in the restaurant. Had a great massage too.
Lovely place with beautiful furnishings, excellent food, amenities including sauna, hot tub, spa, and tennis, under the supervision of people who really seem to want you to have a good time.

We just had cocktails at the cocktail bar. cocktails were fine, music was good.as far as we looked around it seemed like the owners turned this beautiful old hotel in some kind of an event spot. Maybe because they could not afford to renovate the entire building properly. Let us hope the hotel will be successful and the money will be used to renovate completely - not just to drag money out of a beautiful...
This was a really great spot and off the beaten path, which was nice while the area gets busier. There were lots activities for kids set up during the summer months with giant trampolines, rope bridges, lots of space to run and be a kid. Also great spot for adults to have a drink and relax watching their kids from a distance. While we had cocktails in the lounge and dinner in the restaurant following...
I think this is a great idea. The hotel is very nice, the activities are very entertaining and the treatment of the staff is good. It lacks to remove the "low cost" feel. The access rooms are too "shabby" even considering the price. The idea of charging 100 euros deposit is very bad. The water in the pool is cold, the food in the restaurant can be improved, etc.... They can get much more out of it
My husband loves this hotel he went to it twice and made sure to take me to it for his third visit. Nice hotel with lovely staff. Great location as a skiing slope is right in front of it and the center is a one minute walk. They have nice shows every night. The only thing is that the spa facility that u can enter if you’re staying is very small and the pool is cold also u have to give them a call and...

Stylish hotel with a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff, great spa. Will definitely use again.
The hotel is beautiful and has all the services, the reception is very helpful, the lobby is spacious, there are some free drinks, the swimming pool is wonderful, and the views are beautiful; The place isn’t soundproof , and there are very few bathroom kit in the bathroom and the hotel is expensive
We had a great time! We have no complaints, everything was perfect :) A great welcome, top-notch staff, a very generous breakfast, a relaxing atmosphere, the hotel is well located ... We will be back!
We booked a Valentines weekend at the Heliopic Hotel in the middle of Covid and the staff did a great job of making our stay comfortable, romantic, and somewhat normal 😊 The location is central and you can walk everywhere. Even though it’s next to a road on the map, it’s a little 2 lane and there’s no noise, our balcony was overlooking and I’m a very light sleeper, 0 noise 👌 The style is modern and...
Amazing place, highly recommended! Very nice staff, rooms, lobby. The hotel was made with the attention to the details, what I aprecciate. Cold cave in the spa is awesome). Just mind the fact it's child friendly so the are a lot of children everywhere). Some small things that can be improved: the breakfast is the same at all days and barely has any vegetables. At the breakfast time the staff is cleaning...
We spent a wonderful weekend here. We counted on the pool for pleasing the kids and we were not wrong. The hotel is quite nice, modern with lots of activities proposed on spot. Weak point from me: there are 2 building wings, if you don't ask for the one which has the pool on -1 floor, then you have to pass through the reception hall dressed for the swimming , smiling to tourists checking in or out...

The picture of relaxation! Every single thing was considered and accommodated for. The entire staff, down to the house keeping, was absolutely lovely. We'd happily recommend these flats.
Great sized family rooms, nice pool and spa, along with sauna and steam room, had a great stay there only flaw was that the nearest ski lift was a 15 minute bus ride away, but only a 10 minute walk from town
Love it, condo located steps from Aiguille du midi lift. New and beautiful for a short stay with a Coop market and gas station across the street from the condo. Has a gym and swimming pool.

We stayed here for 6 nights in the beautiful Chalet Soli. Like a perfect little gingerbread house. Parking underneath (for free). Tiny issue with the air con as we were the first people there since the weather turned hot but the hotel management handled it beautifully and it was fixed the next day. This is a beautiful hotel, an oasis tucked into central Chamonix. We stayed on the first and last nights of our hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc. Everything about this hotel ( rooms, service, food, ambiance, spa) was great. When I had a sore throat from lunch, the chef was happy to make me a pot of vegetable soup specially for lunch and have it brought to the room. The steam room, sauna, and pool were very relaxing, and the food was excellent.
I can’t get over our stay in this hotel! You get the best view of the mountains with the coziest atmosphere you will ever experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I did not take many pictures of the room, but if you are looking for something cozy and luxurious this is your spot!! I don’t regret booking here, best times ever at this place. Dont miss out on their breakfast...
Can’t recommend the hotel enough! Welcoming and attentive service! Beautiful rooms (Room 208 was spacious with a great view). Great location within a few minutes of the center of town and very short walk to the train station! Intimate and chic bar! Accommodating shuttle service!
This hotel is fantastic for its design and amenities, but one thing puts it far above the rest. The service is possibly the best I have ever experienced. Not only did the staff energetically assist my trip, they also went above and beyond to fill in the gaps that occur in most itineraries. Super friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. Well thought out system for storing skis. Clean and modern rooms. Only down side being slow-draining shower and unreliable elevator. Otherwise, 10/10 would recommend.
We had lunch on a visit to Chamonix. The place is nice and cozy, lots of Ferrari pictures and Italian themed as it was an Italian restaurant. I had the seafood risotto and it was amazing. I highly recommend thos spot but be aware of ski season as it can get packed.
We stayed at the Grand Hotel des Alpes in January 2025. Whilst all the staff were fantastic, I must give a special mention to Francesca who was absolutely wonderful. She took the opportunity as soon as we arrived to learn our children's names and did everything she could to engage with them throughout our holiday. She truly is a credit to this hotel. A fantastic hotel, the staff could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable or accommodating. Great location in the centre of town & it's own ski shuttle bus to the local lift stations, which was an amazing service at the end of a long day on the mountain. Highly recommended, we will absolutely return. Thank you for a great stay
I am giving it a 5 stars even though they deserve a 4.5 at max. The location is in my opinion, the best you can hope for in Chamonix. Positive: Location is good, spacious rooms. Polite and nice staffs. Negative:The rooms beds are very uncomfortable, didn’t sleep most of the stay, and cleaning isn’t done properly (so much dust and dirt under the beds - it has been weeks since someone hoovered). Ponte Isabelle in Chamonix is a fantastic spot for a meal. The food is excellent, and the service is attentive and friendly. It's a great venue for a nice dinner or a casual meal after a day on the slopes. Highly recommend it!
Loved this hotel. We had a standard room. The rooms were large with a balcony and a great view (ask for a room facing the street). The bathroom had great space - with lots of space for your own toiletries. The lobby and bar area were lovely. The breakfast was quite good. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.
Very comfortable Hotel experience. It's not the Ritz-Carlton but I'm not paying those prices either! The staff was very helpful and friendly and the service was great. It's in a wonderful part of town with easy access and incredible views!!
I stayed here for almost a week. It’s a lovely place! The room I was in was fairly basic (3 twin beds), but it had a nice balcony with a little table and chairs. Rooms are a bit basic but charming, and the bathrooms have been modernized throughout. Close to train and bus connections making it easy to get anywhere you want in the valley.
It was so wonderful to return to Hotel Aiguille du Midi after 15 years. The hotel is in the most beautiful of locations, with absolutely stunning mountain views on their doorstep. Friendly owners. Our room was quite small with little privacy as the one window/door to the outside faced the dining and common area in the garden where the children were playing. Authentic Chamonix Hotel! This hotel feels like home in a mountain town and is rich in Chamonix history. I stayed here with my girlfriend in March 2024 on a ski trip. It is perfectly located to catch the bus to ski, walk the streets of Chamonix after a day on the slopes and walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Cham. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!
Old and charming building that shows its age a bit, but it is still in good condition and everything was conspicuously clean. The room was large (quite a bit larger than a newer, 3-star hotel in Argèntiere we stayed in later in the week). The location absolutely cannot be beat—right in the middle of the Chamonix high street, walking distance to everything you could want, and the “Chamonix Centre” bus...
Good hotel. The rooms are complete with en-suite bathrooms. The quality of the beds is good and ensures a good rest. Breakfast is sufficient. Best of all: the location, the view from the room, the staff and their service. The location: it is in the centre of the village. Everything is very close. I stayed at Hotel Richemond on a walk-in booking at the end of March 2024. I wanted a change in accommodation for a variety of unimportant reasons, and chose Hotel Richemond because it had availability and was affordable. I was not disappointed with my choice. Comfortable Charming Classic Chamonix Choice - Centrally Located 100 years old Hotel. 100% Ideally recommend for the more budget conscious traveller to still enjoy the towns delights & skiing. Beds comfortable, Bathroom was old fashioned & period. Breakfast was more than adequate, with good selection of food & coffee machine.
The hotel's property is located right on the main walking street in Chamonix. It is very convenient especially for those who do not have a car. The only drawback is that the street noise at night from the pubs across the street can make sleep difficult. The common areas and our room were well kept up. We had no issues during our 3 day stay. Jewel near the end of our trip. Everything was nice. Good room with balcony (east side straight onto mountains) and super breakfast. Already thinking to go and stay again.
Fantastic place to stay when visiting Chamonix. A quick walk from the centre. Lovely rooms. Great breakfast.
We really enjoyed our experience at Auberge du Manoir. They have a fun, tiny pool table in the lounge and a happy hour in the afternoon. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I spent one day in this wonderful hotel, it was one of the best days of my life. Lovely hotel in chamonix. The spa facility on the roof top is great. Didn't stop for the breakfasts as it was €22 euro and the local bakery 50yards away was great and around 1/3 of the price. After a series of good and not so good hiker refuges, we enjoyed several nights in Argentiere at this hotel. Very fair price, clean and quiet in spite of nearby construction. Staff very friendly and professional. Very nice breakfast and coffee/tea. Really liked this stay!
Great location in town but check to make sure you know what kind of room you're getting! We booked 2 rooms, one of which was cute and nice. The other was not. The bathroom was across the hall (still private) which was surprising but okay. May not work for some though. The carpet in the room was pretty gross and the room was super small. Nice balcony though!

Very much suggested for travellers , best hostel I had ever been. Free Breakfast 24/7 . Clean and hygienic ambiance. They also have restaurant we tried food ,it’s so good.
Stayed here for one night in August on our way back home. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. Shower was great. We didn't experience the noise issues that others have spoken about and the self check in was easy too. Self service breakfast was adequate. The food in the evening in the bar was fabulous. If I was just reviewing the food it would get 5 stars. Great that the pool table is free...
Great place to stay. We got bumped here from another Hotel and did not mind at all. Hassle free check-in, helpful staff, breakfast included, bus stops are at the front door (every half hour), good WiFi, Great showers, will store your bags if walking the TMB. I wish we had stayed our first night here as well. Would recommend.
Didn't stay here, but had delicious food and a few drinks in the evenings. We had eaten a few times in Chamonix town centre, but this was far better - really tasty and great value. The burgers are filling, the poke bowls are full of varied vegetables and the Thai red curry was wonderfully spicy
Fourth time I have stayed at le vert, with the lads, with my fiancee, who ever you stay here with you are made to feel more than welcome, like being at home with amazing food and drinks.
Don't have the duck (canard), it's a duck steak. Not how duck should be cooked. Otherwise a good pub. Good beer too.
