It was great! The vibe, the decor, areas within the property. Breakfast a must have. The minus is the shower, small, very small, but not enough to change my opinion that is a place to stay.

The breakfast was amazing, they had a good restaurant and bar. My only complaint is with the room. The bathroom smelled like mildew all the time. The shower is an open concept, and it gets a good portion of the bathroom all wet. The room was very dark, it had very little lighting so it was hard to see clearly putting on makeup of finding articles in your luggage.

The hotel is very close to the lifts and walkable to the shops. Our room was slightly less comfortable for our family. The view off the balcony was a roof. Thankfully the mountains towered above the roof, so the view was gorgeous. The sink leaked constantly and the TV did not work reliably. When there was a shock Spring blizzard and we were snowed in to Chamonix, they did not let us keep our room because...

Spend 3 nights with family. Beautiful and fun hotel. Lots of food options and entertainment. Ski shop for rentals and ski passes is a huge bonus. Few min walk to downtown village and all the shopping and restaurants.

The staff were so helpful gave great advice and seemed genuinely happy to be there and made any reasonable accommodation to make their customers comfortable. The area around had good amenities shops and restaurants. Will definitely and happily return.

There is a bus stop right next door that will take you to Geneva, Paris or Annecy, so you don't have to rush out early in the morning. The hotel itself is nice too.

My son and I stayed here for a weekend of skiing in February. It is a very comfortable and pleasant hotel with excellent service, very nice rooms, and a wonderful little spa. Friendly owners. Our room was quite small with little privacy as the one window/door to the outside faced the dining and common area in the garden where the children were playing. Our room was also quite hot with no way to cool it other than opening the door to the shared garden. Plenty of parking and a nice part of the world to visit.

What an amazing hotel, town, and overall experience! Our stay at Hameau Albert 1er was truly unforgettable. The hotel only has three stars but should have four. We paid extra for a room (fourth floor) with a view of Mont Blanc. When we arrived, it was raining. Great time staying here. Staff were lovely, enjoyed the Sauna twice. Sauna is a good temperature, unlike some hotels which have them a bit too cold. This was a very pleasant stay. The hotel’s decor is very comfortable and beautiful. The balcony faces the mountains. The location is also extremely convenient. Authentic Chamonix Hotel! This hotel feels like home in a mountain town and is rich in Chamonix history. I stayed here with my girlfriend in March 2024 on a ski trip. It is perfectly located to catch the bus to ski, walk the streets of Chamonix after a day on the slopes and walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Cham. Great view from our room looking out over the valley. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good and better than food we had in town. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. We had a lovely one night stay here on our TMB journey. We had been out in the rain all day and our boots were soaked. The lovely girl at reception allowed us to use the ski boot warmer and by morning our boots were dry. Our room was spacious with a large balcony. Great place to stay. We got bumped here from another Hotel and did not mind at all. Hassle free check-in, helpful staff, breakfast included, bus stops are at the front door (every half hour), good WiFi, Great showers, will store your bags if walking the TMB. Didn't stay here, but had delicious food and a few drinks in the evenings. We had eaten a few times in Chamonix town centre, but this was far better - really tasty and great value. The burgers are filling, the poke bowls are full of varied vegetables and the Thai red curry was wonderfully spicy
