After a long, 15 hour day of travel, Hôtel Le Refuge des Aiglons was exactly what my friend and I needed. It was so cute and cozy. Everyone at the front desk was kind (and patient as we called down to ask how the shower worked) and the waitstaff at the restaurant was so charming and friendly -- especially Malcolm! Plus the tiramisu was incredible. Yes, the rooms were small, but they were clean, and the beds were comfy so who cares about the size! The breakfast was also incredible. Highly recommend staying here, as it's also off the beaten path of the Main Street, but still comfortably within walking distance and right across from the bus depot!

Started and finished our TMB trek here - they allowed us to check in early and held a bag while we did the tour. Very convenient to the bus terminal.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is a nice hotel. The rooms were ok but comfortable. The restaurant was nice with a very generous breakfast with many choices. The bar was very comfortable and the service was very friendly. The outdoor area was nice with good seating. It is also a good location with a short walk to the gondola and the down town area. Good place to stay in Chamonix.

Customer service was excellent. The front desk was able to get me into my room early which I very much appreciated. The rooms are not what I would expect from a four star hotel. The lighting is very poor and the brown shag carpeting is very out of date. The picture doesn’t really reflect how dark the room is. It’s much darker in person than the picture shows My room was on the roadside and as others have mentioned, vehicle traffic was frequent and quite loud. There is no air conditioning so the only breeze is to leave your door open and with the traffic that is a challenge. The pool and Jacuzzi were clean and very nice, but there were no towels in the pool area and no umbrellas so you could not enjoy the pool without sitting in the hot sun.

Dingy, tiny, dark rooms with disgusting brown carpet. Front desk was unhelpful and unable to help with my requests. Parking is expensive for the area and the hotel is not located as conveniently as others in the area. Would not recommend - 4 star classification is a joke, this is closer to a 2-3 star hotel.

Great location in Chamonix for skiing . .rental shop down stairs was ideal and bus stop across the road made things easy.
We had booked half board, dined on night one and found the food very nice but a junior in our group found the food too different and fancy for him.
I spoke with receptionist ( cannot remember her name but she is a credit to the hotel) who could not have done more for us, I asked could I transfer the evening meals to bar credit. she made calls and made this happen for us for the remainder of our stay.
Transfer from hotel to Airport was also arranged for us.
A negative if a negative is the brown colour throughout the hallways and rooms, felt a bit gloomy maybe a lighter or brighter colour might work better at show casing the premises..

I recently visited Le Refuge des Aiglons and must say it was delightful experience.
Specially at the bar , which is located strategically at the best spot with an amazing view to the majestic Mont Blanc.
I was particularly drawn to the various games scattered around the bar, creating a familiar and enjoyable atmosphere.
One of the highlights of my visit was encountering the talented bartender who with genuine enthusiasm and friendly smile made my time memorable.
She took the time to share with me her signature creations from which I tried the Willy Wonka. I highly recommend everyone give it a try(I’ll add a picture)
I was impressed with her unwavering politeness, infectious postive attitude and the evident love and care she poured into every drink she crafted.
It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and passionate about their work.

Amazing hotel next to the all attractions in chamonix. The room was clean and big with a nice view. The staff were great and polite. The view for the Mont Blanc is stunning! Breakfast had a lot of delicious options. We did a couple massage really good. The spa also good.

Leaves me wanting more.. the most this hotel deserves is 3 stars. Room is tiny and dark, the only amenity is a “all in one hair body soap” and an old wall hairdryer that burned my hand to hold after 3 min.. windows facing a large busy road. Room temperature very hot and not changeable. Food was horrible.

This hotel has a lovely spa. We didn’t stay at the hotel but booked a massage at the spa. We made a mistake scheduling the appointment and the staff rescheduled us into their lunch hour. They were very nice and professional. They also welcomed us into their spa facility (saunas, outdoor pool and jacuzzi) for an hour before our massage. Really nice service!
