Reviews
Our stay at Hotel Annapurna Courchevel was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless and luxurious, exceeding all our expectations.
One of the most pleasant surprises was that we were upgraded to a stunning room with a balcony, without even asking for it! This level of generosity and attention to detail truly set the tone for our stay.
Incredible Spa and Pools
The hotel's spa facilities are world-class. The indoor pool is spacious and elegant, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes, while the outdoor heated pool offers breathtaking mountain views. It was an incredible experience to relax in warm water surrounded by snow-covered peaks.
Exceptional Service
Service was truly 5-star in every aspect—attentive, professional, and beyond reproach. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable stay, always welcoming us with a smile and anticipating our every need.
Outstanding Dining Experience
The hotel’s restaurants are exceptional, offering gourmet cuisine with impeccable service. One highlight was our dinner at La Ferma, the hotel’s French Savoyard restaurant, where we enjoyed an authentic and refined take on local specialties. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and the ambiance was warm and inviting.
Final Thoughts
From start to finish, Hotel Annapurna Courchevel delivered a flawless luxury experience. If you’re looking for the best hospitality in Courchevel, look no further. We will absolutely return—this hotel sets the gold standard for excellence.
Highly recommended!
1. Upon check-in, we were not provided with a tour of the hotel and its amenities and so we were unaware of the complimentary breakfast.
2. We had requested to ski on four days however, the concierge incorrectly charged us for 5 days. The hotel failed to offer any compensation or alternative solution, leading to a substantial charge.
3. Unfortunately, we inadvertently lost our key due to an error on our part. The previous guest had also lost their key, and the hotel did not have a spare. Consequently, we were forced to pay for the lock change. Most hotels provide key cards, and if that was the only key available, we would have appreciated prior notification.
In total, we accrued charges that could have been avoided if not for the miscommunication that occurred during our stay.
You cannot control the temperature in the room, which is ridiculous.
The breakfast is pathetic. For simple eggs, you have to order and wait.
And simply there is nothing to choose from.
The swimming pool is so cold that nobody uses it. The steam bath smells and the sauna is very small.
The bed was very uncomfortable. The synthetic cover glows during the night from static electricity. This combined with thick synthetic pillows ruins your dreams.
The gym is very small and separated into two different rooms.
Overall, I would give it 0 stars if I could.
The administration will respond to this review but there is no point.
I will never be back.
One of the highlights of our stay was the impeccable cleanliness and convenient access to the slopes. The rooms were spotless, providing a comfortable and relaxing retreat after a day of adventure on the slopes. Plus, the easy access to the slopes made our skiing experience all the more enjoyable, allowing us to maximize our time on the snow.
The prompt shuttle services provided by the friendly drivers were a true convenience. Whether we needed a ride to the nearby attractions or back to the hotel after a day of exploring, the shuttle service was always readily available and provided with a smile.
Overall, our stay at Hotel Annapurna exceeded all expectations, and we can’t wait to visit again soon. With its welcoming staff, pristine accommodations, and convenient amenities, it’s the perfect destination for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable mountain getaway. We’ll certainly be returning to create more cherished memories in the near future!
Thanks team!
We are staying at the hotel at the moment and more lousy “five star” service is hard to find in my experience. And as far as I’m concerned that they don’t really care for their reputation nor their clientele. Never coming back
Let’s go into details:
First of all, the breakfast is very poor and takes more than 20 mins to get simple fried eggs. In the photos you can see how much salmon they add to poached eggs. The second breakfast photo is an example of a “poached egg” (looks boiled to me).
Secondly, housekeeping. They forgot to lock the door after cleaning the room. So anyone can get in. As we are here with family , we have two rooms and one suite. One of the rooms wasn’t cleaned two days in a row! And in all the rooms they constantly forgot to restock vanity kits. And they move personal belongings from the night stand near the bed and put them on the suitcases (what for ? Only god knows 🤷🏼♀️)
Concierge - shuttle service - reaction from the management:
The hotel has shuttle service. So when you go in the center of the village, you can call the concierge and ask for the shuttle to pick you up from a restaurant. So we called the shuttle and the concierge told us you have to wait the regular 10 minutes for it to arrive. We went outside waiting for it to come. But to our surprise the shuttle took exactly 30 minutes to come. Meanwhile I called the concierge asking where is it and they said it’s on the way. After 15-20 minutes, I’ve said arrange us a taxi courtesy of the hotel, it’s not ok to wait outside when it’s freezing (-5 degrees Celsius). And can you imagine what kind of a reaction I’ve got from him? “Ok, but you’re gonna pay for it. The hotel is not!!”.
When we came finally thirty minutes after to the hotel, we decided to speak to the general manager either the duty manager, as it was more than 10 pm already. And can you imagine that a 5 star hotel doesn’t have a duty manager on site? And he isn’t available by phone neither
The girl at the reception was listening to us with a smirk, rolling her eyes and interrupting. She wasn’t looking for a solution of this situation. We asked to call the general manager or duty manager for us specifically. She called the front office manager (which is responsible only for the reception and concierge workers). Who didn’t hear the idea that we needed to speak to the top management.
Not one sorry or a simple apology was heard from the girl on reception. My last words to her was “try adding a word sorry to your vocabulary”.
On the next day the girl from the reception looked me straight in the eyes and didn’t even say hello. Do you call that service?
The last straw was screaming in the hallways at 6 am sharp! And it turned out some “lady” wasn’t paid a 1000€ euro per night. If you know what I mean :)
Wow!
All in all WOULDNT RECOMMEND!!! Choose a different hotel!
