We had the pleasure to stay in this hotel, most likely hotel from the 70 ies, with a cosmetic touch up.
Being not French, bur Scandinavian, I wonder how you can run a hotel 2022 in the French alps and in the most prestigius resort with single glass window and direct electric heating radiators? Must be nightmare when the electric bill comes!! But it is ofcourse the guests who pays the bill. Think bit about environment as well!! Its is pure silly to run a hotel on electric direct heating with single glass windows. In most europeean countries it is not allowed at all. Not eaven in the 70 ies Russia this was allowed. The old original pine wood doors have been painted in tasteful green color to give a good ambience. However they totally forgot that there is no threashold between floor and doors, That makes corridors noisy and you can hear everything from each room. A lot to whish here. The restaurant serves excellent food, staff deserves more then 5 Stars. Very friendly and helpful in almost all situations. My recomendation is repaint the exteriors same as your neibourgh hotel in white! Change the wardrobes inside make sure you have a refrigerator at least in the suit 616, there, was non! Bathrooms, change the shower facets to a quality brand so you can take a normal shower without burning yourself. You don't even have a complementary water bottle, only first night!!!

We booked this hotel very last minute when the road into Val Thorens was closed. After being in a car for 5 hours we were very weary.
We were greeted like old friends upon arrival and informed that we were the first guests upon the hotel’s post-lockdown reopening. The staff seated us by the fireside in the cosy new lounge area and supplied us with complimentary champagne and appetizers. Our room was upgraded.

The hotel is beautifully redecorated with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was impeccable and our room was cozy with beautiful views from the balcony over the town.

We dined at the restaurant where the food tasted as lovely as it looked. Would highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay again.

Superb renovations, a top team

We are going to the Grand Hotel Courchevel for the opening weekend, the hotel has been very tastefully renovated. The staff are welcoming and very friendly. The food is very good and the view from the restaurant on the snow-capped mountains is just magnificent!
We have already booked our next stay in March!

The hotel renovations are superb and the room very comfortable!
