Where to stay with pets in Marseille

Iconic building and remarkable location. The terrace is the heart of the hotel, with good music and food. Nice rooms with view from the balcony over the harbour. The default internet was not fast enough for video calls.

I stayed here with my kids and dog for my birthday and it was a wonderful experience. The staff go above and beyond. The accessible room was spotless and beds are comfortable

I was originally there for two nights and then had to attend a wedding in Oppedette so I left and then decided to change my plans and return to Marseille for three more nights and stay at the Intercontinental

What an amazing hotel. The views are so good and the staff so nice. The rooms are always clean and dust free, they clean immediately when you leave the room. Their food is also great. Just a great hotel.

Just got back from my first trip to Marseille and fell in love with this hotel. All the staff are so nice! Especially Jacob at front desk/concierge/management. He is the best! Everyone went above and beyond

Great room (clean) and the terrace offers a great view of the city. The sauna and swimming pool were so relaxing and I was the only one using them. Would definitely stay here again if I come back

Kind and helpful staff. Only taxi or car access to city centre (20 mins drive). Rich breakfast, good cuisine. Bar in the eve available.

One of the coolest hotels I‘ve stayed. It combines the elegant Mediterranean vibes with stylish decor and a friendly atmosphere. Spa is NOT included (which I found to be quite bizarre), but it was great too

Nhow Marseille is a serene retreat amid the city’s hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. We enjoyed a sea-view room, which is a highlight of most accommodations

I cannot fault the hotel, it was clean, quirky/unusual and located in a convenient location. We ordered room service one night, then ate at local restaurants for the other 2 nights

The hotel is well located near to the La Plage and the new end of town by the Hippodrome, which is a 15 minute walk and offers lots of choice for bars and restaurants. It’s a great spot to watch the sunset too

The room was a great size, well decorated and clean - we were located on the ground floor level next to the terrace, pool and spa

We arrived early and were advised the room was not yet ready because they were upgrading us to a suite. The room was fantastic with a 2nd level loft bedroom and an expansive balcony overlooking the Vieux Port

The mini-fridge was stocked with a nice variety of included drinks. The location is great for walking to the attractions surrounding the port. In addition, there is bus and metro access literally across the street

Lovely hotel in a great location. Helpful staff. Amazing view of the port. All you really need. Room air con was a little defective but I guess best to the open a window.

This is a fantastic hotel in every respect. The location simply could not be better: view on the Ancient Port, all sights nearby, Metro station in front, ATMs and supermarket around the corner

I tried to walk down to the port but did not feel safe as a solo female so walked back and enjoyed looking around the clothes stores. The area is a bit unsettling but the walk there from the station, feels fine

The rooms are small but compact and practical. they are also surprisingly quiet with negligible drama. shower is very strong, but they barely have any amenities so I would bring your own toiletries

they do have quick pre-packaged food in the lobby (10€) all day which is Hit or Miss. they do have private parking which is also 10€ per day. The behavior of the receptionists is sometimes strange / slow

The staff were great and very helpful and the breakfast was a good presentation of foods. I think the price to value ratio is crazy here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marseille

Was a bit surprised by the cabin toilet which is very small but it had nice features as in a washing line and a Japanese bidet toilet. The AC was great, the beds were okay, the view was okay

Clean, convenient and practical. This modern hotel has all the necessities for a short stay. Well located, walking distance to central tourist sights. The complimentary breakfast was basic but had all the essentials. 👍

We were most impressed with all the staff at this hotel. Everyone wore big smiles and was so eager to offer help and answers. The location can’t be beat given the price

Very Nice hotel located in an industrial neighborhood. Rooms are clean and decent size. Pool is smaller than on the promo pictures. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

It’s close to public transportation, and Carrefour and ethnic restaurants were on the same street out the door. You can even walk to the Old Port through Le Panier neighborhood

Everything worked in our upgraded deluxe room. We felt safe, valued, and satisfied. We are glad that we found this jewel of a hotel in Marseille as budget travelers

Pool and Hammam much better than expected (not many hotels at this price offer it). Again, if you have reasonable expectations, you will be positively surprised!

If you want a quiet room, go for room 4 on any floor (it’s towards the back so don’t expect any great views). Yes, rooms are tiny but we knew that before

The Hotel staff are well trained on hospitality aspects of their job, they were professional, patient and kind to me. If I ever visit Marseille again, I would definitely seek accommodation at Golden Tulip!

As we arrived at the hotel on our first night, we had to look for a car park nearby and as luck would have it, there was one directly located across the hotel

The room, we stayed in the next couple of days, was simply good and clean. There was nothing too elaborate but we had everything we needed. The location of the hotel was okay, too

Very nice hotel! Nice area and good breakfast. Only issue is that the elevators are only 2 old and show ones.

Perfect hotel

Business hotel. No bar or restaurant on Fridays and Saturdays. Not many restaurants nearby. Ideal for football matches, five minutes walk from the stadium.

Reasonably priced accommodations located close to to large shopping centers with plenty of eateries to choose from. Public transportation easily accessible with a tram stop directly in front of the hotel.

The cleanliness was impeccable. The room is very comfortable and spacious. We took the executive suite which was truly top notch. And thanks to the girls at the reception who made us feel very welcome

Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. The room has both a bath and a shower. TV, safe, refrigerator, kettle, coffee machine and even a microwave.

The staff are awesome and the location could not be better, really a great bargain for the price

They also provide parking for 10€ per night, but be careful - if you are not a best driver, you may have some difficulties entering to elevator. Overall, this hotel deserve better reviews than it has as it was renovated

Hotel is fully renovated! The rooms are a little bit small and with humble equipment, but everything was clean and new. Staff on the reception was very friendly

The rooms are clean and there are sensitive smoke detectors ensuring people cannot smoke in their rooms - no more smell of cigarettes anywhere

The "gym" a small room with a couple of non-functional pieces of equipment and there was no pool (google said there was on the amenities list) but overall, this was a great hotel that I would highly recommend! If I ever went to Marseille again, this hotel would be at the top of my list

Stayed there for two nights. The room is reasonably large enough, and the receptionist was friendly. Very good location. Walk distance to Galeries Lafayette and Vieux Port. Many good restaurants nearby.

A great choice for staying in central Marseille for a very good price. A great breakfast with a variety of choices (amazing view of Notre Dame de la Garde!). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with everything

Location wise, it was a 5 minute walk from the centre of the city with tons of restaurants and shops which seemed to comprise mostly of fellow tourists

The rooms were clean, reasonably large and didn't feel claustrophobic and more importantly, the bathrooms were modern, clean, and the toilet wasn't right up against a wall! They provided a large mini fridge, Nuxe shampoo / body wash and plenty of clean towels

Unlike some other reviewers, I thought the area is great: you have a lot of nice bars in the area, you can have a nice local breakfast at cafe La Muse or enjoy natural wines and veggie food in Winesucker x Mercato

I must say I never had anything to say because it was always easy, available and welcoming (even though I sometimes showed up at 5 am 😂, front desk opened all night long) but tonight, my room was on the 6th floor and I was bothered by a noise all night long

No 5 stars for Mama Shelter, because bathroom products were too limited (had to buy our own liquid soap, but since we’re in Marseille this wasn’t difficult), and our room could’ve used a sitting area or couch to fill the empty space and make it more cosy

Price and location were good, at the arrival a young fella welcomed me which took +30min but with lovely manners, so keep and mentor him he would do great! As usual BW beds are one of the reasons for my choice.

Conveniently located vis-a-vis Gare Charles Michel, the Alex has tiny but modern and comfortable rooms with balcony. Beds could have better mattresses, though. Staff is polite and professional

The surroundings are not ideal for dining, this is a Maghreb neighborhood where you will find few women on the street at night. However, a Metro station is right in front of the hotel

A mixed experience at Montgrand. The approach is interesting, as Maison Montgrand is actually a collection of four or five locations all located on the same city block on Rue Montgrand

Some locations have hotel rooms, some have apartments. We had an issue with our initial room that wasn’t exactly completely clean

The location was perfect very convenient, the only problem I had was the elevator start from the first floor if you have big luggages like me that was turned down kind of a problem but besides that location was good the receptionist was very helpful, great attention

For a 3 star hotel this is as good as it gets. Although it has small rooms, they are nice and clean, and good looking, and with a good free WiFi signal. And the staff is friendly

The breakfast they serve is relatively basic it is of good quality. Do not expect to be able to choose among many things. They offer bread, pastries, cereals, yoghurt

On the contrary, the internet connection was extremely slow, becoming impossible to navigate at some times. There is room to improve this
