Where to stay with pets in Marseille

All the elements of my stay, from the service offered by the front-desk to using the fitness centre regularly was 5-star! this would probably be my best stay at an Intercontinental to date

Great room (clean) and the terrace offers a great view of the city. The sauna and swimming pool were so relaxing and I was the only one using them. Would definitely stay here again if I come back

I also enjoyed the breakfast service, particularly the freshly cooked eggs, pastries, and crepes

I had a wonderful stay. The service by the staff was fantastic. Concierge recommendations were perfect. Room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend staying at the Intercontinental in Marseille!

I would stay at Intercontinental Marseille over and over again

I tried to walk down to the port but did not feel safe as a solo female so walked back and enjoyed looking around the clothes stores. The area is a bit unsettling but the walk there from the station, feels fine

The rooms are small but compact and practical. they are also surprisingly quiet with negligible drama. shower is very strong, but they barely have any amenities so I would bring your own toiletries

they do have quick pre-packaged food in the lobby (10€) all day which is Hit or Miss. they do have private parking which is also 10€ per day. The behavior of the receptionists is sometimes strange / slow

The staff were great and very helpful and the breakfast was a good presentation of foods. I think the price to value ratio is crazy here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marseille

Was a bit surprised by the cabin toilet which is very small but it had nice features as in a washing line and a Japanese bidet toilet. The AC was great, the beds were okay, the view was okay

Clean, convenient and practical. This modern hotel has all the necessities for a short stay. Well located, walking distance to central tourist sights. The complimentary breakfast was basic but had all the essentials. 👍

Staff has been top notch all around, from the front desk to room service to the breakfast room which by the way offers a good sort of produce and you get to ask for some a-la-carte plates for no extra fee

The hotel’s beautifully appointed rooms, modern amenities, and prime location are exceptional, but it’s the warm and attentive service that truly stands out

Very nice hotel! Nice area and good breakfast. Only issue is that the elevators are only 2 old and show ones.

Business hotel. No bar or restaurant on Fridays and Saturdays. Not many restaurants nearby. Ideal for football matches, five minutes walk from the stadium.

Nice hotel, spacious rooms with good wi fi connection. Bad cleaning on the rooms. Good staff on reception. Bad location. Good parking lot

Kind and helpful staff. Only taxi or car access to city centre (20 mins drive). Rich breakfast, good cuisine. Bar in the eve available.

Nhow Marseille is a serene retreat amid the city’s hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. We enjoyed a sea-view room, which is a highlight of most accommodations

I cannot fault the hotel, it was clean, quirky/unusual and located in a convenient location. We ordered room service one night, then ate at local restaurants for the other 2 nights

Can't imagine how awesome it would be during summer months with the patio and pool overlooking the Mediterranean. Parking was a little confusing as far as getting to the ramp from within

A special mention goes to Benjamin, whose attentive and professional service made our stay even better. He provided valuable tips for exploring the city efficiently

The room was a great size, well decorated and clean - we were located on the ground floor level next to the terrace, pool and spa

The room, we stayed in the next couple of days, was simply good and clean. There was nothing too elaborate but we had everything we needed. The location of the hotel was okay, too

Convenient location, friendly staff, neat and clean, buffet breakfast - something for every pallet, great view of the sea (from the even numbered rooms I assume)

As we arrived at the hotel on our first night, we had to look for a car park nearby and as luck would have it, there was one directly located across the hotel

The Hotel staff are well trained on hospitality aspects of their job, they were professional, patient and kind to me. If I ever visit Marseille again, I would definitely seek accommodation at Golden Tulip!

They were short staff due to covid but always tried to help which is expected from a hotel ! The minuses are sometimes less smiling (given the circumstances not a big deal) however credit card numbers are written on a Notebook which to me is a first in any hotels I have been and probably not really secured

Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is away from the large gatherings of people. We preferred to be a walk away from all the action. It’s minutes walk away from the action so it was perfect.

Perhaps a good software or payment processing solution website would have stored this securely for the clients. Other than that it was great! Breakfast and rooms were clean and nice

10 minutes walking distance from Metro and Bus. With Metro 4 stops away from St. Charles Train station where you can ride train to Paris or Spain. Also one easy transfer away from city center, tourist attraction

This is not full 5 stars hotel with all amenities but it was not price to be that either. I was very happy to stay in that place

I had a wonderful stay at AC Hotel Marseille, deserving of a solid 4 stars. The standout feature was the exceptionally friendly and helpful reception staff, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction

Location wise, it was a 5 minute walk from the centre of the city with tons of restaurants and shops which seemed to comprise mostly of fellow tourists

Stayed there for two nights. The room is reasonably large enough, and the receptionist was friendly. Very good location. Walk distance to Galeries Lafayette and Vieux Port. Many good restaurants nearby.

The "gym" a small room with a couple of non-functional pieces of equipment and there was no pool (google said there was on the amenities list) but overall, this was a great hotel that I would highly recommend! If I ever went to Marseille again, this hotel would be at the top of my list

The rooms were clean, reasonably large and didn't feel claustrophobic and more importantly, the bathrooms were modern, clean, and the toilet wasn't right up against a wall! They provided a large mini fridge, Nuxe shampoo / body wash and plenty of clean towels

A great choice for staying in central Marseille for a very good price. A great breakfast with a variety of choices (amazing view of Notre Dame de la Garde!). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with everything

What a great hotel! I've left a bunch of reviews after my first trip to France because I found the reviews of other users very helpful. It seems as though they are sometimes more accurate than hotel star ratings

Close to the station and to the metro, internal car park, nice staff, that answered all my questions about how to visit the city . Very satisfied

I stayed here in September 2024. This hotel is extremely convenient to the train station and metro subway - just across the street. Emilie at the desk checked me in and was lovely and very friendly

The room had a nice view of Marseille, the sea, and Basilica. I was given a top floor room by the elevator. The room was clean, furnishings were decent, but I felt like the carpet was due for a change

Skip the breakfast - this is one spot that they can control and improve. The staff was friendly, but there was little selection and it was just not appetizing

So location is a double-edged sword - great for transit, no too great for environment. If you just sit around a hotel on vacation, then this isn't for you

I'd stay here again, especially if I have an early morning train to catch. You can't beat this location for that

After trying the Ibis Budget, which was not accessible for private travelers during the events, I was happy to have found the B&B hotel below the Velodrome that was affordable, comfy and close to the event location

Now there is also Pizza ordering machine. This hotel chain has self catering style

The location of the hotel is excellent since you avoid the traffic of the city centre, but it is not far away from it. There is a secure, open parking. There is no height limitation which was a concern for us

Thus, as I said, its location is perfect and the parking is excellent!! Room was clean and was cleaned every day. At least, our specific room could be a bit larger. Nothing fancy, but it had all the basics

Its price though was too high, for what was offered. Overall, we had a very nice experience and we will book again in our next visit to Marseille (hopefully we will get a larger room this time)

Good hotel for the price. Night manager was very kind and helped us for automatic check-in as we arrived almost at midnight. Parking available at this place, wifi is well conection.

There are also many and quality choices to go out for food, with a large range of prices, within a walking distance

Very Nice hotel located in an industrial neighborhood. Rooms are clean and decent size. Pool is smaller than on the promo pictures. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

It’s close to public transportation, and Carrefour and ethnic restaurants were on the same street out the door. You can even walk to the Old Port through Le Panier neighborhood

Everything worked in our upgraded deluxe room. We felt safe, valued, and satisfied. We are glad that we found this jewel of a hotel in Marseille as budget travelers

Pool and Hammam much better than expected (not many hotels at this price offer it). Again, if you have reasonable expectations, you will be positively surprised!
