Where to stay with pets in Marseille

All the elements of my stay, from the service offered by the front-desk to using the fitness centre regularly was 5-star! this would probably be my best stay at an Intercontinental to date

Great room (clean) and the terrace offers a great view of the city. The sauna and swimming pool were so relaxing and I was the only one using them. Would definitely stay here again if I come back

I also enjoyed the breakfast service, particularly the freshly cooked eggs, pastries, and crepes

I had a wonderful stay. The service by the staff was fantastic. Concierge recommendations were perfect. Room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend staying at the Intercontinental in Marseille!

I would stay at Intercontinental Marseille over and over again

The room was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed walking and jogging on the coastal sidewalk overlooking the sea. The Welcome Desk staff was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating

Nhow Marseille is a serene retreat amid the city’s hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. We enjoyed a sea-view room, which is a highlight of most accommodations

I cannot fault the hotel, it was clean, quirky/unusual and located in a convenient location. We ordered room service one night, then ate at local restaurants for the other 2 nights

Can't imagine how awesome it would be during summer months with the patio and pool overlooking the Mediterranean. Parking was a little confusing as far as getting to the ramp from within

A special mention goes to Benjamin, whose attentive and professional service made our stay even better. He provided valuable tips for exploring the city efficiently

The room was a great size, well decorated and clean - we were located on the ground floor level next to the terrace, pool and spa

The room, we stayed in the next couple of days, was simply good and clean. There was nothing too elaborate but we had everything we needed. The location of the hotel was okay, too

Convenient location, friendly staff, neat and clean, buffet breakfast - something for every pallet, great view of the sea (from the even numbered rooms I assume)

As we arrived at the hotel on our first night, we had to look for a car park nearby and as luck would have it, there was one directly located across the hotel

The Hotel staff are well trained on hospitality aspects of their job, they were professional, patient and kind to me. If I ever visit Marseille again, I would definitely seek accommodation at Golden Tulip!

I was like having trouble with my luggage because the cord of my cape was like stuck in the wheels and they helped me out

The location is Stella. It’s connected to the Sofitel but cheaper and has all the use of their falsities. Room was plain but completely adequate, with as spacious bathroom. Wonderful views from the restaurant

Wonderful location. Very clean. Great staff. The food in the restaurant was very good, as was the view across the Old Port its terrace.

Two kids slept in onesies in January because they were sweating in pj’s. We only chose this hotel because of private parking and we came in a car. Decent price, decent location, hotel itself is not 4 stars

If that doesn't exist, branding this a 4 star hotel is fraudulent, period. I honestly can't think of how they can fix this place. I'd suggest maybe converting it into a self-storage or office space

Very good Lunch at Mid-Day at the restaurant Magaté, food is perfect, with great fish and amazing Desert ( millefeuille ), with great service from Alessandra and Christophe. We will come back

Short walk to the port so it’s a walkable location which was a plus. I think the thermostat in the room was broken as we turned it off but the room was still SO SO hot

Staff has been top notch all around, from the front desk to room service to the breakfast room which by the way offers a good sort of produce and you get to ask for some a-la-carte plates for no extra fee

The hotel’s beautifully appointed rooms, modern amenities, and prime location are exceptional, but it’s the warm and attentive service that truly stands out

Close to the station and to the metro, internal car park, nice staff, that answered all my questions about how to visit the city . Very satisfied

I stayed here in September 2024. This hotel is extremely convenient to the train station and metro subway - just across the street. Emilie at the desk checked me in and was lovely and very friendly

The room had a nice view of Marseille, the sea, and Basilica. I was given a top floor room by the elevator. The room was clean, furnishings were decent, but I felt like the carpet was due for a change

Skip the breakfast - this is one spot that they can control and improve. The staff was friendly, but there was little selection and it was just not appetizing

So location is a double-edged sword - great for transit, no too great for environment. If you just sit around a hotel on vacation, then this isn't for you

I'd stay here again, especially if I have an early morning train to catch. You can't beat this location for that

A well priced and centrally located hotel immediately in front of the tram stop and a short walk to the Metro and Vieux-Port area and all its attractions

Central location, you can feel « the vibe » of the City when you step out of the hotel

The hotel is relatively new and modern and the room was well appointed with large TV, coffee machine, fridge and wardrobe and had curtains and triple glazed windows that completely blocked any noise from the street

Access to hotel by key card only which is great as Marseille does have an issue with crime and vagrants. Ask for a quiet room and they will try to put you in a higher room

Luckily the double ou triple windows in the room are working really great ! Loved our Privilege room - totally recommend, very nice decoration and the bathtub is comfy

The street immediately outside the hotel is busy, bustling and although I didn't feel unsafe, you need to be aware of your surroundings

This hotel is reasonable for its price. The people working at reception are really good and helpful. The WiFi speed is good there's TV too

My room was facing Stade Velodrome and I could get its beautiful lightened view in the night from my window. It is well accessible by metro and bus, both during day and night

Right next to the palais des congrès, perfect placement. The bed was comfy and the sound isolation is really efficient. The rooms really need to be freshened up though.

Reasonably priced accommodations located close to to large shopping centers with plenty of eateries to choose from. Public transportation easily accessible with a tram stop directly in front of the hotel.

Very comfortable, spacious and very nice staff. This is ideal for a family of 4 and very good value for money. tram downstairs and metro within walking distance. Plus: Small view of the port from the balcony!

Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. The room has both a bath and a shower. TV, safe, refrigerator, kettle, coffee machine and even a microwave.

The staff were super I was concerned about the damp smell in the room but it aired out. Wonderful help over a forgotten passport.

The hotel location is perfect right in the city center at the old port and 15 minutes walk from the train station. It is ideal to visit Marseille highlights

The location is just perfect, on the old port and few steps far from the metro station

The hotel is beautifully decorated, the room was perfectly clean, the bed linen is very comfortable, the breakfast is very good. Very quiet even in the city center! A very pleasant stay.

They also provide parking for 10€ per night, but be careful - if you are not a best driver, you may have some difficulties entering to elevator. Overall, this hotel deserve better reviews than it has as it was renovated

Hotel is fully renovated! The rooms are a little bit small and with humble equipment, but everything was clean and new. Staff on the reception was very friendly

The rooms are clean and there are sensitive smoke detectors ensuring people cannot smoke in their rooms - no more smell of cigarettes anywhere

Very convenient hotel, walking distance from the station and the vieux port. If you’re here and don’t know where to eat. I would recommend Chez Fanny for affordable and delicious sandwiches for lunch/brunch

Only issue I had with the hotel was the remote for the tv didn’t really work, but we didn’t watch much tv anyway. The hotel is very clean and they gave us extra towels and the view wasn’t too bad

Akim at the restaurant was so helpful when I didn’t have a plug converter

This was after I requested to change rooms because the first one I was given was ran down with a bad view of a ran down back alley area. Getting to your room is a challenge. The hotel setup is like a maze

You get off the elevator and you're NEVER on your floor. you either have to go a bit up or a bit down with the stairs. The toilet (bowl) is in a separate room than the bath and sink - I guess it's a french thing

“Choose your room WISELY” If you're lucky you get a room that's decent. Some rooms are renovated, for example the room I was given in the front of the hotel

The location of the hotel is excellent since you avoid the traffic of the city centre, but it is not far away from it. There is a secure, open parking. There is no height limitation which was a concern for us

Thus, as I said, its location is perfect and the parking is excellent!! Room was clean and was cleaned every day. At least, our specific room could be a bit larger. Nothing fancy, but it had all the basics

Its price though was too high, for what was offered. Overall, we had a very nice experience and we will book again in our next visit to Marseille (hopefully we will get a larger room this time)

Good hotel for the price. Night manager was very kind and helped us for automatic check-in as we arrived almost at midnight. Parking available at this place, wifi is well conection.

There are also many and quality choices to go out for food, with a large range of prices, within a walking distance

I visited this hotel in July 2023. The location was perfect with the metro station and tram next to it

My room was clean, the bathroom spacious, and they respected my "do not disturb" sign the whole week I stayed. Best part was that it was super close to all of the tours I booked!! Definitely the best location

The breakfast was yummy and they had Nutella, hot chocolate, delicious yogurts, normal chocolate croissants, and they filled my water bottle for free. The workers are super kind and were always caring for me

The only bad part was the internet. But you have to log in constantly every few hours with your room number and password. So if I fell asleep I wouldn't have internet or messages reaching me in the morning

It also has many places to eat around! (My favorite one was Wok Udon) I was scared of staying here because of some scary reviews, but nothing bad at all! It was wonderful

They didn't speak Spanish though, only English (for me, who don't speak french). Also they kindly printed my concert ticket for free

If you enter the hostel, you might observe that the place was not meant to be an hostel but somehow they have converted it well into hostel. Location wise it's well connected just opposite to St

The staff are fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly and the facilities are great for a hostel too! I stayed in the large dorm room out the back, and there was plenty of toilets and bathrooms so I was never kept waiting - the beds were clean and comfortable enough 👍 It's also really easy to get to from the train station/bus terminus

All the staff we met were helpful, friendly and welcoming. The other guests were also friendly and good company, lovely courtyard and having a bar was a nice touch

You'll have a great time in Marseille if you stay here! Would definitely recommend!
