We stayed in a room with several design flaws that significantly impacted our comfort.
The bed was placed directly under a sloped ceiling, requiring us to bend down each time we got in or out. My husband bumped his head twice, and I did once.
The wardrobe was unusually small and housed a fridge, which generated heat and made the space impractical.
There was also a noticeable drainage odour, and the air conditioning was unstable.
The toilet and bathroom were separate, which was appreciated, but the toilet lacked a handwashing basin, raising hygiene concerns.
It’s likely that not all rooms have these issues, but unfortunately ours had them all, which made the stay quite uncomfortable.
That said, the hotel’s location is excellent, the staff were friendly and professional, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location in between train station and tram (to airport) along the main street with a large supermarket right across the street.
Although the official check-in time is 3:00 pm, I was given a key card at 2:40 pm and sent to the room, only to find it had not been cleaned. Even after waiting until 3:26 pm, the room was still not ready. When I asked again, the front desk staff told me in a dismissive way, “It will be ready whenever housekeeping finishes”, and even added that the male colleague who assisted me earlier “probably didn’t tell housekeeping to clean the room, so he didn’t do his job properly – I don’t know, it’s not my responsibility.”
At 3:40 pm, the room was still not available. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The lack of professionalism and the careless attitude at the front desk left me with a very negative impression.
Nice rooms, quiet (I was affraid beeing at the boulevard), mini bar for free, daily new water bottles and cookies.
Good breakfast for 3 days, probably if you stay more you will fell like repeat the same food.

Best place to start out from in Nice. Railwaystation and Beach is near, also the street has lot of good cafés, restaurants for breakfast/dinner options nearby.
