Disappointing Stay – Only Positive Was the Location

I stayed at this hotel during my recent trip to Paris, and unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. The room was extremely small – barely enough space to open a suitcase without having to pack it back up just to move around. The bathroom was equally cramped.

Upon entering, the room had a strong, unpleasant smell. I asked the receptionist if we could change rooms, but he informed us that everything was fully booked and the cleaning staff wouldn’t be available until the next morning. His only suggestion was to open the windows to air it out – which we had to do every time we came back, as the smell kept returning.

However, opening the windows wasn’t much of a solution either. While it did help the smell to clear out, the hotel is located right above some restaurants, so there were always people downstairs – making it noisy, especially in the evenings. We had to constantly choose between fresh air or some peace and quiet.

The wardrobe was not only too small to be of practical use, but it also had the same funky odor. Nothing really fit in there, and it clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. The walls, particularly under the TV, were stained and gave a very unclean impression overall.

On the positive side, the hotel is located very close to a metro station, which made getting around the city quite convenient.

Still, overall, the lack of cleanliness, comfort, and basic room quality made this a disappointing experience I would not stay here again.
