Home Latin Mini-hotel

Very very nice little hotel located right next to Notre Dame cathedral. Perfect location for everything. The staff is very friendly! We booked 3 rooms. And everything was absolutely perfect. They gave us a cot for out baby, sheets were changed daily and when we left after a couple of hours decided that we want to stay another day in Paris, called them and they found space for us immediately. Thank you Home Latin for the lovely time!

The Home Latin apartments are located right in the middle of the Latin Quarter in Paris. All the cute boutique restaurants and cafes are 1-5 minutes walking. Several metro stations also available that can take you anywhere in Paris and beyond. The location couldn’t be any better. The area is very safe. The Notre Dame is less than 10 mins on foot from here. The rooms themselves are very small and do not have Air conditioning. That means during the hot days of summer it gets quite warm in the room. You do get fans that move air which is helpful. We happened to catch one of the hottest days of the season on our arrival. However, the views from the room balcony are pure Paris. The basic needs are all met so we were happy in the end.

We stayed at the hotel from Tuesday to Saturday and I have to say that some of the reviews here really surprise me. I would start with the receptionist, who was kind and wonderful and willingly explained everything to us and helped us with anything. The hotel was clean and smelled incredibly well right from the reception , we were staying with our daughter, so two adults and one child. The room was clean, and also smelled. Clean towels and made the beds every day. Is there someone monitoring the noise... yes, banging and talking could be heard in the corridors, but that was the same for us. It happened in a luxury ***** hotel. I put earplugs in my ears and it was solved - or I recommend a long walk in the evening and I'll fall asleep right away 😉. The only thing we girls were missing was a big closet, we argued about who would put what where - but that was really the only thing I would give a minus 😃. The breakfast was great, again our children ate better there than in the ***** hotel. Bread, ham, pastries, jams, fresh, coffee - everything was excellent!!!!

Welcoming and affordable place. It is worth what you pay

Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms look nice and are decent for the prize. The only negative thing is the bathroom that looks fairly old. One night we even had the ceilling in the bathroom leeking. What made the stay acceptable is the location. It is located 5-10 min walking from the Notre Dame on one side and 5-10 min walking from the Pantheon on the other side. Also just 15 min walking from Louvre. Metro stations are also really closed so it's well connected with all the famous Paris sights. Staff is friendly and polite and speaks decent english, but there was a few inconveniences that made them look a bit unprofessional, as they didn't ask for our ID at check in. We could go inside and outside of the luggage storage whenever we wanted as it isn't locked and they didn't check anything, if we even stay at the hotel. Breakfast is 8€ and is isn't quite rich, would recommend rather going to a bakery. Also at the check out they asked us if wr had breakfast which shows that they didn't even take note of it. But all in all, it was a pleasant stay.
