Excellent experience for the affordable price (it was on discount on their web). We got the revamped room. It was a but small but at least it was comfortable. It's clean, and the hall smells nice. Staffs were very kind and welcoming!

We booked Ibis Centre Histrorique just a week before our travel dates and its prime location was the primary reason for booking it. The rooms are a little too small but we were visiting in winter and the cozy setting was fine. Beds were very comfortable, food was satisfying (not perfect, at least for my taste), really fast and stable Wi-Fi connection. Bedroom and bathroom were absolutely clean and aesthetically looking. Whatsoever, I take 1 star away because rooms were very small and ceilings were too low. For me, an almost 2m tall guy, it wasn't very comforting, since I was afraid to bump my head somewhere. Good value for money. Acceptable for short stay: the rooms are small and the bathroom is minimal. The structure is old-ish. Breakfast is good as well as the bar. Not far from the city center, offers free parking outdoor and there is a public underground parking by the hotel at 12 €/day.

Very good value hotel. Breakfast was nice, but basic. No scrambled eggs for example. The room was small, but for a short trip very comfortable. Bathroom is clean, but a bit cramped. IMHO, the bed is totally acceptable, not bad as others said.

Good location... high occupancy as a result... however the average price shows average care... corners in rooms dirty... shower rooms have low ceilings and moisture accumulates too much... mold in corners of shower and window sill... twin share is not a mattress but a raton like pad on a twin box... worn carpet and common area cleanliness left much to be considered for presentation... From the review of others, I was quite worried that the shower of the bathroom would be separated from the rest part of the bathroom only by a curtain, not even reaching the floor, making the floods all over. Hotel is conveniently located near the train station! Everything was good! Thomas was very friendly too, and provided good service during our 2 nights stay! Only down side was there is no fridge and kettle! But overall still good!

Room and bed were all a little smaller than expected and the bathroom was freezing, but the vibe of the hotel was amazing. After we finished with the christmas markets we just sat in the hotels dinning area and enjoyed complementary hot cider and snacks/treats until we were ready to turn in for the night.

The hotel may not be spacious, but it’s comfortable and well-maintained. It’s conveniently located near the train station, but it’s a bit further from the main tourist spots. However, the highlight of my stay was the exceptional service provided by Thomas. He was very helpful and kind throughout my visit, making the stay even more better.

Excellent location right in front of the train station. Quiet, clean rooms. Very modern black , white and red decor. There is even a Pac-Man game machine and a foosball table in the reception area! The hotel is well located downtown. The room are basic and pretty small but it's OK if you want to spend most of the time out in Strasbourg. The receptionist in night time has been very nice and helpful!

Very friendly staff that was easy to communicate with via email before arrival. Great for kids with provided cribs and a play room in the breakfast area. Easy walk downtown and to restaurants.

Great location just outside of the island - nice and quiet and very walkable to the downtown area. We checked in, and the staff at the desk were very friendly and accommodating. We had booked two rooms, and upon entry, one of the rooms had a very heavy cigarette smoke smell to it. The hotel is very central and you can easily walk to the town centre. The rooms are quite spacious, clean and comfortable though the bed is pretty hard. Breakfast is ok if a little disappointing- no bacon and eggs which surprised us as it is a big hotel chain. We also have a dog with us and despite them saying dogs are welcome they made quite a fuss when we said we would be leaving our quiet and timid...

Electric Key inside the room should be a bit more visible and accessible with regular colour like plastic white slot for the key, Red or Green colour - easily found or the porter escort should be available to introduce various facilities...

An okay hotel. Breakfast was not bad but also not that great. Probably could find a better restaurant nearby. Could use some customer service training. The room were clean and spacious. About a 15min walk to the center so that was a plus.

Great location close to the central train station and public transit. Hotel staff was friendly and spoke good English. We enjoyed the on site fitness center. Rooms were a good size as well.

Amazing place. The rooms were verey clean and very neat. The service was good as well. We required an iron and it was immediately given to us. It is a bit far from the city but not a dealbreaker as the train station is only 2mins from the hotel and it takes around 3mins to arrive at the city center. Totally recommended 👍

I had a very nice stay at this hotel. Clem and the team were able to accommodate several special requests, sometimes at the last minute. This made a huge difference to our stay. There are several vegan options at breakfast which is very helpful when traveling in France. An addition of vegan butter, cream cheese or hummus would be really nice in addition to the nice selection that's already provided

Nice hotel, clean, modern and so easy to get to on the tram. Really convenient. I do wish the room came with a mini fridge though...this is the main reason why I book Airbnbs instead of hotels!

the hotel is situated in a quiet residential area a few mins from the station and a couple of metro stops from the centre of Strasbourg. Quiet clean nicely decorated rooms with very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again. My husband had a full breakfast and we had the express option (3 pastries and a drink each) and the only suggestion i would make is to allow a family to sit together to enjoy...

In the brochure laying in the room it said that everything is sound proof, but our door had a 5 centimeter gap between the bottom and the floor. If you feel lost when you are waiting for the madeleines in the shop in the left of the hotel then the cakes and tea in this hotel is the things you are deserved for. The tea room is warm and nice. The cakes are the best (apparently they are made by a famous patisserie in the town). The service is great too.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Strasbourg, delicious breakfast. Rooms small but cosy with good cathedral views. Hotel is very quiet although not far from cathedral square. Old building with steep stairs and a small elevator, not suitable for wheelchairs. Beautiful open-air patio for breakfast or a cake in the afternoon. Rooms are also in the building at the corner.

The hotel is nice and the breakfast is very good. Even though it's not allow to smoke in the hotel and we don't smoke, our room stank of cigarettes. The smell was so strong that the towels and our clothes ended up smelling.

The bathroom experience was terrible and the room was not awfully big. The building is near the main pedestrian road so we can hear people talking from the 3F. Bathroom door couldn't close properly without hitting the toilet, which is the main issue

Me and my wife had a great stay at Hotel le Grillon! The location is perfect with lots of great restaurants close by in addition to the great hotel bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful giving out local tips. The room was great since we had to work one day we could use the desk in the room and we slept very well. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Strasbourg!

I was surprised with the overall experience at this hotel. By far one of the best 3 stars hotels in France I have been staying at. Big room with big windows. Fully renovated bathroom. The best was the indoor patio where guests can have breakfast, also the breakfast itself was surprisingly good. I would fully recommend!

Great hotel at ideal location! So charming, with wood beams inside our room, a very friendly staff, and an excellent restaurant at street level - what more can you ask for? How yeah, do not miss the historic Caves just next to the hotel, countaining the oldest white wine in the world!

It is very close to the center. The hotel is small but you have everything you need. The service is a bit slow, but people are friendly and helpful. There is only one elevator and you have to wait a lot. The wifi was not functioning well. (they said because of the walls). They have a restaurant with very generous portions and Alsacien cuisine. The food is very delicious. Waiters are very helpful.

FIrst, let me say this hotel is in a great location, is in a quieter area, and the hotel staff were fantastic. Pretty much anything you want to go do is a short walk away. Now for the downsides...everything is extra. Spa, breakfast, and parking will all cost you more money. The hammam was honestly the only thing worth using in the entire spa. It cost twenty euro for an hour, btw. The infrared dry sauna...

For this hotel, you won't be paying for comfort. Room, bathroom, & shower is very small for the price. It's a good location that is not as expensive as hotels that are closer to tourist attractions. Still within walking distance from the city center and Christmas markets. The room was clean, and the hotel staff were great

Really peculiar place, every room is themed in a different way and the experience is ever changing. The room was a bit small but quite comfortable with a big bathroom and a comfortable bed. I was also very pleased with the staff who was kind and helpful. The parking is really close although a bit small for bigger cars.

Highest recommendation. Easy walking distance from the train station, 10 min to the Old City, 12 min to the Cathedrale. To die for croissants on the corner across the street. Everything is a little quirky, graffiti (art) along the walls, stairwells, and inside the room. I always walked to the 2nd floor (3rd floor US) just for the paintings. Family room was huge, cheap, modern, very clean and functional...

We we're warmly greeted and our room was upgraded. Our room had an outdoor patio with a lovely view of the cathedrals. Both room and bedroom are fairly large and immaculate. Relatively quiet and beautiful neighbourhood.
