Strasbourg, 7 rue de Molsheim 🧭 Map
Excellent experience for the affordable price (it was on discount on their web). We got the revamped room. It was a but small but at least it was comfortable. It's clean, and the hall smells nice. Staffs were very kind and welcoming!
We booked Ibis Centre Histrorique just a week before our travel dates and its prime location was the primary reason for booking it. The rooms are a little too small but we were visiting in winter and the cozy setting was fine. We faced some issues on the first day (the shower cabin was leaking water etc) but they were very kind and prompt to fix it all within a few hours. Ibis Centre Historique also...
Beds were very comfortable, food was satisfying (not perfect, at least for my taste), really fast and stable Wi-Fi connection. Bedroom and bathroom were absolutely clean and aesthetically looking. Whatsoever, I take 1 star away because rooms were very small and ceilings were too low. For me, an almost 2m tall guy, it wasn't very comforting, since I was afraid to bump my head somewhere. In conclusion...
Good value for money. Acceptable for short stay: the rooms are small and the bathroom is minimal. The structure is old-ish. Breakfast is good as well as the bar. Not far from the city center, offers free parking outdoor and there is a public underground parking by the hotel at 12 €/day.
Very good value hotel. Breakfast was nice, but basic. No scrambled eggs for example. The room was small, but for a short trip very comfortable. Bathroom is clean, but a bit cramped. IMHO, the bed is totally acceptable, not bad as others said.
Good location... high occupancy as a result... however the average price shows average care... corners in rooms dirty... shower rooms have low ceilings and moisture accumulates too much... mold in corners of shower and window sill... twin share is not a mattress but a raton like pad on a twin box... worn carpet and common area cleanliness left much to be considered for presentation... I must say staff...

I believe for the price this is an OK-ish hotel; however, would not recommend it for spring/summer; the rooms are very hot, and they don't even have ventilators to help cope the heat! Staff were very friendly and supportive! I will most likely not come back to the hotel though.
Had stayed in a renewed deluxe apartment room with a comfortable bed and clean, there is a kitchen, fridge and sink. The bathroom was refurbished and clean with free toiletries. The sound proof from the room towards the trains and traffic is acceptable. I strongly recommend to use their private parking facilities, cuz neighbouring is not looking safe. The breakfast was okay, but overpriced for its...
The room was very clean. It also had appliances for self cooking and a fridge for storing your food. The bed was very comfortable. It also had a good WiFi signal. The location of the hotel was 10 minutes from the town center on foot. The buffet breakfast had a variety of foods, like croissants, pancakes, cereals, boiled eggs and hot beverages.
The staff is very polite and avauable h24. The room was well kept and clean in all its parts. I stayed for one night being restored the next morning. The only regret I have is to not have found a bottle opener in the kitchen and in general there were very few instruments for cooking inside. Exellent position very close to the city center and to the station. Really really satisfied at all.
Good location with great value. The room is quite big. The hotel is really close to city centre and the train center. The price/performance rate is so high. The reception staff explains friendly if you ask something. I will highly recommend here if you look for a medium budget place

The hotel is very central and is very unique. The rooms are very spacious and we had a good view of the station. Staff are very friendly and their breakfast ia nice aswell
From the review of others, I was quite worried that the shower of the bathroom would be separated from the rest part of the bathroom only by a curtain, not even reaching the floor, making the floods all over. I was also worried about the water temperature of the shower. Luckily, non of my worries happened, since we were assigned a room facing the street. The water pressure of the shower was low as...
Hotel is conveniently located near the train station! Everything was good! Thomas was very friendly too, and provided good service during our 2 nights stay! Only down side was there is no fridge and kettle! But overall still good!
Room and bed were all a little smaller than expected and the bathroom was freezing, but the vibe of the hotel was amazing. After we finished with the christmas markets we just sat in the hotels dinning area and enjoyed complementary hot cider and snacks/treats until we were ready to turn in for the night.
The hotel may not be spacious, but it’s comfortable and well-maintained. It’s conveniently located near the train station, but it’s a bit further from the main tourist spots. However, the highlight of my stay was the exceptional service provided by Thomas. He was very helpful and kind throughout my visit, making the stay even more better.
Excellent location right in front of the train station. Quiet, clean rooms. Very modern black , white and red decor. There is even a Pac-Man game machine and a foosball table in the reception area! The young staff is professional and helpful. There is no electrical kettle in the room. We will return

Very basic hotel. Small rooms and bathrooms, thin beds, minimal facilities. Lots of noise from the corridor and street. Also has a weird system where you need to hand in your keys every time you leave the building, which feels very weird for security.

Inexpensive and near public transportation to get to the city center. Since it's cheap, the furniture is cheap and it's not the highest quality but you get what you pay for!
The hotel was a little more rundown the the pictures online. But the staff were nice and the room was cleaned well
The hotel was good, basic but matched the price. The rooms were spotless and beds are comfy. Only very small issues such as they provide coffee but no milk products in the rooms so come prepared unless you like black coffee or having breakfast and the shower was quite small which for me was fine but could be an issue for others. All in all a lovely stay and in a perfect location. Thanks!
Good value for money. Perhaps can be cleaner and newer, but for such low price it is really very good.

Very friendly staff that was easy to communicate with via email before arrival. Great for kids with provided cribs and a play room in the breakfast area. Easy walk downtown and to restaurants.
I enjoyed my time there. The hotel is very clean. Good breakfast. Staff gentle. The hotel is very good for family with kids. I recommend!!
Great location just outside of the island - nice and quiet and very walkable to the downtown area. We checked in, and the staff at the desk were very friendly and accommodating. We had booked two rooms, and upon entry, one of the rooms had a very heavy cigarette smoke smell to it. I went down to let the staff know and they were super friendly and gave us another room immediately. Nice and clean...
The hotel is very central and you can easily walk to the town centre. The rooms are quite spacious, clean and comfortable though the bed is pretty hard. Breakfast is ok if a little disappointing- no bacon and eggs which surprised us as it is a big hotel chain. We also have a dog with us and despite them saying dogs are welcome they made quite a fuss when we said we would be leaving our quiet and timid...
Greatly welcoming all the diverse people families and children of the world 🤗❣️ ☮️ Peaceful and easily accessible by road. Nice Rooms with great furniture and TV. Electric Key inside the room should be a bit more visible and accessible with regular colour like plastic white slot for the key, Red or Green colour - easily found or the porter escort should be available to introduce various facilities...
An okay hotel. Breakfast was not bad but also not that great. Probably could find a better restaurant nearby. Could use some customer service training. The room were clean and spacious. About a 15min walk to the center so that was a plus.

Free parking, nice breakfast, polite & helpful staff. Rooms are good size, clean, but seem to have 0 noise insulation - you can hear every single noise / word that is said / screamed in the rooms around you + the nearby street.
Honestly I had a great experience. All was perfect and aligned with the price. The room was simple but comfortable, the reception guy very nice and welcoming
We were very happy to stay in this hotel, once we found it. The room was clean with a good size bathroom and comfortable bed. We also like their little restaurant. The food was good and the service very good. It is very good value for money and we will definitely go back.
Airconditioning in the room, free parking. Clean and quiet room. Check in from 1400, check out til 1100. Breakfast from 0700 till 0900.

Our first time in Strasbourg and we wanted to share our wonderful experience with Elena at the Couvent du Franciscain. Elena was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We so appreciate her outstanding service. Thank you Elena!
The hotel is very well located. In a few minutes you will be inside the central city island, with the Cathedral and a lot of other attractions. A lot of restaurants and supermarkets close by. The building itself is old, making the doors, walls, windows and everything look fragile. It also contribute to the noisy, and also the street can be pretty noisy. As an example, you can hear every time your...
The hotel is very well located, close to the city center, all major attractions and good restaurants, with a 15 minute walk to the train station. We arrived early, but were able to leaver our luggage at the hotel until check-in time. Good hotel with excellent geographical location, very clean and convenient. Nothing for a romantic weekend but very, very recommendable for business stays in Strasbourg.
Modest hotel with a friendly, accommodating staff. Good prices and great location. Pleasant meeting room with sunlight in the lower level.

We were lucky enough to to have an upgrade, and we were given a quiet room as we requested. The staff are nice and friendly. The breakfast is adequate, and enough to choose from. A pleasant stay.
It was ok. Its very close to Stasbourg station. In most cities this would be bad, but its actually reasonably nice here. The rooms are clean but basic and the shower is too small. It was noisy outside at night if I forgot to close the double glazing window. With it shut I had a good nights sleep. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is fine if nothing special. I'd be happy staying again here.
Good location, noisy rooms at night. Very friendly personnel. Some power outlets in the room are not working. Shower only for smalle people. Rooms are clean. Good bed. Breakfast is not bad.

Great location close to the central train station and public transit. Hotel staff was friendly and spoke good English. We enjoyed the on site fitness center. Rooms were a good size as well.
Amazing place. The rooms were verey clean and very neat. The service was good as well. We required an iron and it was immediately given to us. It is a bit far from the city but not a dealbreaker as the train station is only 2mins from the hotel and it takes around 3mins to arrive at the city center. Totally recommended 👍
We stayed in the Origami Hotel during our family trip in Europe. The hotel was very clean, stylish, staff were very friendly and professional. The lady who checked us in was amazing and very helpful. The family room was great option for 5 people. Thank you.
I had a very nice stay at this hotel. Clem and the team were able to accommodate several special requests, sometimes at the last minute. This made a huge difference to our stay. There are several vegan options at breakfast which is very helpful when traveling in France. An addition of vegan butter, cream cheese or hummus would be really nice in addition to the nice selection that's already provided
Nice hotel, clean, modern and so easy to get to on the tram. Really convenient. I do wish the room came with a mini fridge though...this is the main reason why I book Airbnbs instead of hotels!
the hotel is situated in a quiet residential area a few mins from the station and a couple of metro stops from the centre of Strasbourg. Quiet clean nicely decorated rooms with very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again. My husband had a full breakfast and we had the express option (3 pastries and a drink each) and the only suggestion i would make is to allow a family to sit together to enjoy...

This was or first trip as a family of 4. And they converted a sofa to fit my 2 kids and provided a baby cot as an extra option. Still we had a little space left to navigate and be a family. Overall the staff made us feel comfortable, welcome and at home. They kept our milk in the fridge, gave is hot water, happy to serve coffee and tea at the bar. What can one expect more? :)

Clean, spacious rooms. Design, optimistic, zero waist. ibis Styles have interesting concepts! Not high end but also not high end prices. Nice breakfast. Absolutely recommend!
Room and bathroom was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly (you might have a hard time to get certain information if you don't speak French, but they are really helpful). The location was perfect: the tram station is right across the road. From there you can get to the old town centre within 10 minutes. The location is also quiet at night - no noisy clubs etc. Breakfast was really good! And the price...
The service is great and everyone is so friendly. Delicious breakfast with AMAZING homemade cakes (I loved the apple crumble and carrot cake). We met the guy who bakes them and he's awesome. Good coffee, there's multiple milk alternatives (I saw soy and almond) and fresh milk which tastes better than the milk from the machine. Good cheese. Would be nice if there was a salad, but there's fruit. The...
Friendly service, satisfactory breakfast. Hotel well located in front of the Tram that takes you straight to the downtown (line D). 20-30min walk from the bridge with the border France-Germany. 50min by car from Europapark. Very average. The building and furniture are very old. I was skeptical about the cleanliness of the room, there was a strange smell from the ventilation. The dishes were dubious too.
Comfortable and modern rooms. Helpful staff. The parking is not free but I like that they have a garage under the hotel. Decent location near the tourist spots.
Good location, friendly staff but not really clean. The whole place could use a professional cleaning service.
Cozy and clean. Friendly staff. We have a kitchen to cook our own food. Parking is available for a reasonable price. All in all we're happy :-)

Nice hotel for a short stay. My room wasn't very big, but it did have everything I needed. Very well located and staff is very friendly.
Alright hotel. We choose a small room so that's what we got. In the brochure laying in the room it said that everything is sound proof, but our door had a 5 centimeter gap between the bottom and the floor. Tiny bathroom with no side to move around in the shower. The room needs maintenance. The elevator is also tiny which makes it Awkward to use it with other people. Ok we were in need of a room for the new years eve, everything is overpriced on this day, especially on a touristic town like Strasbourg, but 130 € for that room? Come oooon, get serious...Big disappointment and I am a person that usually can see the bright side of everything, not the grumpy, whining type. I don't grade it with one star, because I was probably misled by Booking.com and also because...
Superior room was not worth the price. Breakfest was tasty. Big minus for parking situation. On saturday after 3.5 hours we couldn't park in whole zone anymore, no other possibility to park in area. Hotel don't give help by this problem. Location is good but going with car for a weekend is not good idea. Accept of coming with car, maybe we would visit again
This is a wonderful, cozy and very clean hotel quite near to the CoE buildings and at the same time to the city center (some 15-20 minutes walk on both directions). It is very comfortable in case of business trips. But the most amazing in this hotel, is its personnel, very attentive and friendly persons, who assisted me a lot during my stay. Very big thank you to them.
The hotel is located close to the city center, and is in easy walking distance of a bunch of cool sights, shops, and restaurants. The room was small but had everything you'd need. The sheets felt clean but had a few small stains, but overall I'm happy with the stay.
We had the handicapped room because of a last minute deal. Everything was good , the breakfast was fine. Location also good

The hotel is nice and the breakfast is very good. Even though it's not allow to smoke in the hotel and we don't smoke, our room stank of cigarettes. The smell was so strong that the towels and our clothes ended up smelling.
The bathroom experience was terrible and the room was not awfully big. The building is near the main pedestrian road so we can hear people talking from the 3F. Bathroom door couldn't close properly without hitting the toilet, which is the main issue
Best hotel I’ve ever been to. A really charm place with a perfect location. The receptionist was really kind and very helpful. I sincerely recommend this hotel.
Me and my wife had a great stay at Hotel le Grillon! The location is perfect with lots of great restaurants close by in addition to the great hotel bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful giving out local tips. The room was great since we had to work one day we could use the desk in the room and we slept very well. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Strasbourg!
I was surprised with the overall experience at this hotel. By far one of the best 3 stars hotels in France I have been staying at. Big room with big windows. Fully renovated bathroom. The best was the indoor patio where guests can have breakfast, also the breakfast itself was surprisingly good. I would fully recommend!
