Hotel is a certain walking distance from train station but it is not far from old town. Double room is small and air conditioning is poor. Buffet breakfast is good.

The room was clean, the staff at the reception was kind and breakfast was good.

It basically is a good experience and the breakfast was great. However it is really not convenient for Asian travelers that there is no kettle in the room. I suggest the hotel to get some kettles if the customer requests.

Great location close to the central train station and public transit. Hotel staff was friendly and spoke good English. We enjoyed the on site fitness center. Rooms were a good size as well.

Amazing place. The rooms were verey clean and very neat. The service was good as well. We required an iron and it was immediately given to us. It is a bit far from the city but not a dealbreaker as the train station is only 2mins from the hotel and it takes around 3mins to arrive at the city center. Totally recommended 👍

I had a very nice stay at this hotel. Clem and the team were able to accommodate several special requests, sometimes at the last minute. This made a huge difference to our stay. There are several vegan options at breakfast which is very helpful when traveling in France. An addition of vegan butter, cream cheese or hummus would be really nice in addition to the nice selection that's already provided

Nice hotel, clean, modern and so easy to get to on the tram. Really convenient. I do wish the room came with a mini fridge though...this is the main reason why I book Airbnbs instead of hotels!

the hotel is situated in a quiet residential area a few mins from the station and a couple of metro stops from the centre of Strasbourg. Quiet clean nicely decorated rooms with very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again. My husband had a full breakfast and we had the express option (3 pastries and a drink each) and the only suggestion i would make is to allow a family to sit together to enjoy...

It's not in the old town. It's about 20 minutes by taxi from the train station. It's very new. There's a police station next to it. It's very safe. The room is also very big. It's about 30 minutes' walk to the cathedral.

The room was so small for the price we paid! Bathroom was also tiny and water pressure was so low. When I asked if they gave us the right room they insisted but I felt it was not the room I booked . Location was good opp the central station.

Hotel is conveniently located near the train station! Everything was good! Thomas was very friendly too, and provided good service during our 2 nights stay! Only down side was there is no fridge and kettle! But overall still good!

Room and bed were all a little smaller than expected and the bathroom was freezing, but the vibe of the hotel was amazing. After we finished with the christmas markets we just sat in the hotels dinning area and enjoyed complementary hot cider and snacks/treats until we were ready to turn in for the night.

Only two observations: - too much vegetables on the wall (outside).... attract insects in the rooms.... - maybe it should be a little better promoted ... it*s a question... The services are very good and the staff are the 20+ note (high class)!

Very basic hotel. Small rooms and bathrooms, thin beds, minimal facilities. Lots of noise from the corridor and street. Also has a weird system where you need to hand in your keys every time you leave the building, which feels very weird for security.

In the brochure laying in the room it said that everything is sound proof, but our door had a 5 centimeter gap between the bottom and the floor. Great location and a lovely room. My only complaint is the poor internet.

We we're warmly greeted and our room was upgraded. Our room had an outdoor patio with a lovely view of the cathedrals. Both room and bedroom are fairly large and immaculate. Relatively quiet and beautiful neighbourhood.

The hotel is well located downtown. The room are basic and pretty small but it's OK if you want to spend most of the time out in Strasbourg. The receptionist in night time has been very nice and helpful!

If you feel lost when you are waiting for the madeleines in the shop in the left of the hotel then the cakes and tea in this hotel is the things you are deserved for. The tea room is warm and nice. The cakes are the best (apparently they are made by a famous patisserie in the town). The service is great too.

The location is very good, just opposite the train station, very convenient to go everywhere. It's an average-sized room, but the bed is quite comfortable. The location is excellent, just opposite the train station, and there is a McDonald's downstairs. We only stayed there for one night as a transit. The room was not big, with a small balcony. I often choose Le Grand Hotel near the train station, and this one did not disappoint me at all! The service is very warm and professional, the room is reasonably furnished and comfortable, and the bathroom is of high quality. The most noteworthy thing is that the hotel is equipped with a luggage storage locker with a password!

This is a lovely hotel, perfectly situated near the train station. The photos are as they appear on the website and the rooms are small but perfectly clean and come with a kettle. Stayed at this hotel while visiting the Christmas markets of Strasbourg. It’s just outside the old town but is literally next to it with the bridge to old town pretty much at your doorstep. We had such a wonderful experience at Le Grillon. This hotel deserves a 5 star review; our room was big, the beds were fantastic, personeel was very friendly, the location was close to all attractions and the breakfast was delicious! We were here at the last day of the city’s christmas market which I recommend to everyone who’s planning a trip to Strasbourg. We will definetely come back another time

The hotel is nice and the breakfast is very good. Even though it's not allow to smoke in the hotel and we don't smoke, our room stank of cigarettes. The smell was so strong that the towels and our clothes ended up smelling.

Great hotel at ideal location! So charming, with wood beams inside our room, a very friendly staff, and an excellent restaurant at street level - what more can you ask for? How yeah, do not miss the historic Caves just next to the hotel, countaining the oldest white wine in the world!

It is very close to the center. The hotel is small but you have everything you need. The service is a bit slow, but people are friendly and helpful. There is only one elevator and you have to wait a lot. The wifi was not functioning well. (they said because of the walls). They have a restaurant with very generous portions and Alsacien cuisine. The food is very delicious. Waiters are very helpful.

FIrst, let me say this hotel is in a great location, is in a quieter area, and the hotel staff were fantastic. Pretty much anything you want to go do is a short walk away. Now for the downsides...everything is extra. Spa, breakfast, and parking will all cost you more money. The hammam was honestly the only thing worth using in the entire spa. It cost twenty euro for an hour, btw. The infrared dry sauna...

For this hotel, you won't be paying for comfort. Room, bathroom, & shower is very small for the price. It's a good location that is not as expensive as hotels that are closer to tourist attractions. Still within walking distance from the city center and Christmas markets. The room was clean, and the hotel staff were great

Really peculiar place, every room is themed in a different way and the experience is ever changing. The room was a bit small but quite comfortable with a big bathroom and a comfortable bed. I was also very pleased with the staff who was kind and helpful. The parking is really close although a bit small for bigger cars.

Highest recommendation. Easy walking distance from the train station, 10 min to the Old City, 12 min to the Cathedrale. To die for croissants on the corner across the street. Everything is a little quirky, graffiti (art) along the walls, stairwells, and inside the room. I always walked to the 2nd floor (3rd floor US) just for the paintings.
