It’s a great place to stay, calm and quiet. A 500 mètre, a supermarch and a hall with a station. It’s a great place to stay in Strasbourg. The transport is rechargeable, 1 trajet is simple = 1, 90 €. Le Forfeit 3 days = 10,40 €.
Parties commune and chambre sont très bien entretenues. Petit déjeuner best bon, varié et adapté à tous les gouts.
Je recommande cet hôtel.
This is a nice hotel, quiet, friendly staff The hotel is very nice and clean. 500m away is the Les Halles supermarket and the Ancienne Synagogue/Les Halles tram stop, which provides easy access to the Strasbourg train station. The transport card can be recharged, 1 trip = 1.90€. 3 days unlimited meals = 10.40€.
The public areas and rooms are well maintained. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety to suit all tastes.
I recommend this hotel.

Location is good, services and room not at all!
The hotel is generally very old and the room small of that oldness. I am not quite sure if the sheets were clean enough, specially the pillowcases that mine had loads of stains and did not smell clean! I dont think they are changed in between the guests!
I could not get my head around it and ended up with a towel on my pillow eventually! Cleanness is the only expectation at a 3 star hotel. I arrived at 11 PM for business trip and had not much options otherwise I would have changed immediately!
The carpets are so old, dusty and full of hair!
The lights in the room don't work except one and the bed-lights are fallen apart! The shower tab was fault and water was not getting cool at all! It needs a repair! Room 34!
The breakfast is good though. There is no food served or available except breakfast, but there is a small fridge and cabinet with chocolates to buy from. They call it a bar.
So I wont recommend the place unfortunately!

I had a fantastic stay at Hôtel Couvent du Franciscain Centre Ville! The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the local attractions. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing.
One of the standout features of this hotel is their excellent luggage storage service. They allowed us to securely store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which made our trip so much more convenient. It gave us the freedom to explore the city without worrying about carrying our bags around.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Another highlight was the delicious breakfast, which was fresh, varied, and reasonably priced—a great start to the day.
Overall, Hôtel Couvent du Franciscain Centre Ville offers great value for money, excellent service, and a prime location. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay here again!

The air conditioner was broken, and the room was very hot, so I couldn't sleep. There was no telephone in the room. There was no parking lot either.

The room was small. The receptionist was very welcoming and knew we were foreigners and spoke English very slowly.

The hotel is very well located. In a few minutes you will be inside the central city island, with the Cathedral and a lot of other attractions. A lot of restaurants and supermarkets close by.
The building itself is old, making the doors, walls, windows and everything look fragile. It also contribute to the noisy, and also the street can be pretty noisy. As an example, you can hear every time your neighbor open the bathroom tap. This is the major issue with this hotel.
The room is very small and don't have a fridge.
The breakfast is very good, plenty of options and the place where it is served is quite nice, we really enjoyed it!
