Couvent du Franciscain

C’est un bon établissement, calme, le personnel est accueillant. A 500 mètres, se trouve le supermarché les halles et la station de tram ancienne synagogue/les halles qui est pratique pour se rendre à la gare de Strasbourg. La carte de transport est rechargeable, 1 trajet simple = 1, 90 €. Le forfait illimité de 3 jours = 10,40 €.
Les parties communes et la chambre sont très bien entretenues. Le petit déjeuner est bon, varié et adapté à tous les gouts.
Je recommande cet hôtel.

I had a fantastic stay at Hôtel Couvent du Franciscain Centre Ville! The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the local attractions. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing.

One of the standout features of this hotel is their excellent luggage storage service. They allowed us to securely store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which made our trip so much more convenient. It gave us the freedom to explore the city without worrying about carrying our bags around.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Another highlight was the delicious breakfast, which was fresh, varied, and reasonably priced—a great start to the day.

Overall, Hôtel Couvent du Franciscain Centre Ville offers great value for money, excellent service, and a prime location. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay here again!

The room was small. The receptionist was very welcoming and knew we were foreigners and spoke English very slowly.

Good location, close to the center. Almost everything is within walking distance

The hotel is very well located. In a few minutes you will be inside the central city island, with the Cathedral and a lot of other attractions. A lot of restaurants and supermarkets close by.

The building itself is old, making the doors, walls, windows and everything look fragile. It also contribute to the noisy, and also the street can be pretty noisy. As an example, you can hear every time your neighbor open the bathroom tap. This is the major issue with this hotel.

The room is very small and don't have a fridge.

The breakfast is very good, plenty of options and the place where it is served is quite nice, we really enjoyed it!

Overall we found it a little expensive for what it delivers, however we had a pretty good stay, the breakfast and the location are the main strengths and every attendant were very friendly and spoke English.
