The young lady at reception upgraded me to a first floor room to save me tackling too many stairs.
Clean, nicely decorated, well appointed room. Small modern en suite.
Breakfast is basic but value for money considering the location.
You can't fault the hotel's location. Sited between the river and the Cathedral surrounded by museums and restaurants.

We stayed in a double room (with twin beds) for 3 nights. Our experience was very good. The employees were very kind and helpful with all the needs that arose. The room was cleaned every day. The hotel is in a beautiful, central location, which is highly convenient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms have been renovated. However, breakfast was expensive, so we decided not to opt for it. Also, the hair dryer was burnt and it didn't work. I would definitely say that the hotel deserves a rating higher than 2 stars. Our stay was excellent, and I would definitely visit again.

This hotel was excellent. The hotel was so clean, the location was fabulous -only steps to the cathedral. We met 3 different staff members and they were so friendly and helpful with information and booking our taxi for us. The breakfast was decent and just enough to get us going for the day. Highly recommend. The room was cute and the shower was super. The window opened to the street below adding to the fantastic atmosphere.

You cannot ask for a more perfect location! In the middle of everything and just a block from the cathedral. The room was comfortable and charming with excellent a/c much appreciated during the unprecedented heat-wave.

For what is rated a 2 star hotel, this place was more than perfect!
The lady on reception was very pleasant throughout our stay, the room was clean, spacious enough for 2 people and air conditioning was great.
But the big plus factor to this hotel is the location is incredible, you will understand if you come here. Those who complain about no elevator should understand that is a sacrifice of staying in such a building.
Would stay again.

Lovely clean rooms in an amazing location, good value. No elevator be warned! The air conditioning was extremely good though.

Very well located, few steps from the Cathedral and other tourist attractions. A hidden gem in the middle of the busyness area. I would say that 2 stars are not enough to the service offered by this hotel ! I have parked my car at Austerlitz parking, which is about 4-5 minutes by foot from the hotel. Staff are really nice and friendly, there is always a staff at all time ! Highly recommended ! Bravo à toute l’équipe 👏

The location is amazing, heart of the old town surrounded by shops and restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and clean (with the exception of the clearly aging carpet, more on that in a second). So on to the main complaint, the rooms are in a serious need of renovation, while room was clean it didn't look great with the stained carpet and skirting. The bathroom again clean, but in serious need of renovation and even a slight size increase. Other than that for the price and location it's still a good choice.

The location is pretty good but since the city is not very big and there is a metro, just book something better maybe a bit more outside of the Centre - if money is a factor...

Smelly room; Empty bottle under the bed (I.e. cleaning cannot have been 100%); rooms quite old but location superb and receptionists really helpful. So choose what's important for you...
