Reviews
One of the big plus of this hotel is that it’s located near the Orangerie park as we like starting our day from the morning walk through a park to catch the morning vibe of the nature. By the way, never seen so many storks on the nests in one place!
Another plus is a very romantic interior of the dining room where we had breakfast every morning.
Special thanks to the receptionists: very friendly and helpful. In general, I would advise not hesitating to ask the receptionists if you need something. For example, one morning there was no grey bread that was available a day before, we asked if possible to have it as we do not eat white bread, and it was provided. Another example, there is no fridge in the room, and we asked a receptionist to place our food into their fridge and it was done.
Would love to come back again, maybe at Christmas time.
Breakfast was another highlight 🍳🥐—a good variety of fresh and satisfying options. We also loved that the hotel is dog-friendly 🐾, which made traveling with our pet hassle-free. The location is ideal, just a few minutes’ walk from the city center 🚶♂️🏙️, making it easy to explore all that Strasbourg has to offer.
Overall, Hotel des XV combines comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality, making it a great choice for anyone visiting Strasbourg 🌟
One star goes away for me because I found the breakfast to be quite poor in choice. Not sure if what they provide is the standard practice in France, but it doesn't come even near what bigger establishments are offering. Porting sizes are also small, when you order omelet, you get a one-egg omelet; if you ask for a fried egg, you get one fried egg.
The location is indeed a bit out of the way but there is public transport 1 meter away from the hotel doorstep. That is very relevant. Also, because of the remoteness, the hotel and the streets are very quiet. The Orangerie park was a nice urpire

A little out of the way, but in a quiet area. Good parking facilities.
The city center can be easily reached on foot in 30 minutes.
Exceptionally tasty breakfast.
One highlight of our stay was the huge balcony that came with our room. It provided a perfect spot to relax and unwind with a glass of wine, taking in the surroundings. The added privacy and tranquility made it a truly memorable experience.
The girls at the reception we're super friendly and welcoming.
The room was very beautiful and there was !even a small welcome-note for our dog
The breakfast was extraordinary, we just loved it and could not stop eating.
We would be happy to have a small minibar in the room, for the wine and the cheese that we purchased, but eventually it was not a deal breaker
We will definitely come again :)
