voco Strasbourg Centre - The Garden, an IHG Hotel

Flawless, or at least as close to flawless that I have gotten with a hotel. Complimentary breakfast in the morning is excellent. Staff are responsive for both scheduled and unexpected matters. I truly felt supported in all matters during my time at Voco. Rooms are spacious and cleaned often. Extra services are great - fitness room, pool and spa, and laundry service. I hope to return. 10 minute walk from main train station.

Fantastic stay! Room was spotlessly clean, bed and linens were very comfortable and nice sized bathroom with rainfall shower. Air conditioning was easily up to American standards. The pool/spa area was wonderful and much needed after a week of travel. Be prepared to pay 9 euro per person and book in advance, but this was no problem. I would not say that the pool is child oriented, but great for couples or business travelers. Breakfast had good local bread, cheeses and jams. The dinner restaurant was alright, but you could find better in the city for the price point.

The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, despite being very busy. I felt very comfortable asking for anything we needed and I enjoyed speaking with them.

This location is a few blocks away from the city center and maybe a 10 minute walk to the historic district. A healthy adult would have no issue at all. If walking is an issue, there are trams that stop maybe a few blocks away to take you closer to Petit France/Notre Dame or anywhere else. Lots of nearby shopping and restaurants.

Great rooms and reception very nice. Food was ok although we had to wait for replenishment. Checkout time was fair, 12 pm, contrary of some others that asks 10.30 or 11. Had to reserve parking space in advance, strongly recommend this. I would recommend it

Really enjoyed our stay! One the of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff was really kind and helpful. I think it’s a high end hotel at a good price. All the finishings and furniture in the room were nice. Slept comfortable there. Lucie was an amazing help and Aya as well, all the front staff were but could not remember all their names. Went out of their way for recommendations and assistance.

My only comment is that you’re not allowed to sit down in the dining hall during breakfast hours to have a coffee, even as a guest. This is my only complaint but other than that, it’s a 5/5, no other complaints, and I would stay again!

Thank you for the mask tester from Staycation_fr. I was surprised.. and happy for the little surprise. The hotel is cute. But they do not provide any toothpaste on the bathroom, (probably available upon request).
Love everything, except the toilet (the water wasn’t strong enough compared to our toilet at home in Germany).

+ Good value for money
- We arrived at the hotel 13:30 pm and the receptionist lady with glasses simply told us that we should take the room at 3 without even trying to see if there was possibility to get our room earlier. When we arrived at 3 the room wasn't ready so we had to wait tired enough one more hour without any information at all from reception at least to come at 4! The most inconvenient welcome to hotel.

Good stay overall.
12 minutes easy walk from the Cathedral and shopping streets, 3 minutes walk from a very big mall.

Room was modern and clean, Breakfast was good with good variety.

Some of the ladies in the Reception are not really into service.
Cairo on the other hand always smiles and willing to help.

Very convenient public parking few steps from the hotel back entrance.

Late check out was given as well without and issues (Platinum member)

Got a welcome drink, Bartender is a super nice guy unfortunately we couldn’t finished it as we sat at the garden to drink it before seeing a group of huge rats few meters from us 😳, Wife and kids left their drinks and ran away to the room.

Hotel will need ti solve this somehow.

Rooms are the typical size for Europe, but very well designed. Excellent location with attentive staff and excellent breakfast. A variety of amenities are offered at additional charge. I would definitely stay here again when in Strasbourg.

Great room, good bed and bedding. Toilet and shower room excellent. Underground parking, but need to book in advance. Well decorated and laid out. The rear rooms overlook train line which can be noisy at time, but with a/c and closed window not too much of a problem. Recommended

The hotel is lovely in design and in how spacious the rooms are. Very comfy beds too. Location wise, it’s not the best as you’ll have to walk around 12 minutes to reach the centre of the city “many road crossings” the internet was not too fast and the breakfast was ALWAYS empty all the dishes were finished with no refills although more than 1:30 hours have left till the breakfast time ends. Cleanness was kind of an issue, rooms were not cleaned though the sign was put on the door and when they cleaned the other time it was not up to the expected cleaning level. For the breakfast and cleaning I took off one star.

Great customer service. Foosball and ping pong available, which our kid loved. Lovely architecture and design. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious! We even had a little balcony. Roughly an 8 min walk to the train station! Would definitely stay again!!
