Hôtel le Grillon

Location was great. A 5-10 min walk to the Center of Strasbourg and walking distance to restaurants and bars. Service and reception were very friendly! Breakfast was tasty and fresh. Rooms were clean and orderly. A bit small but did not bother us since we only slept there.

This is a lovely hotel, perfectly situated near the train station. The photos are as they appear on the website and the rooms are small but perfectly clean and come with a kettle. You can also leave your luggage here for the day at checkout. The staff were very friendly and I'll be back here for sure.

Stayed at this hotel while visiting the Christmas markets of Strasbourg. It’s just outside the old town but is literally next to it with the bridge to old town pretty much at your doorstep. It’s also only about 10 mins walk from Strasbourg train station. Room was spacious for European standards and quiet despite the craziness of the Christmas crowds outside. Also great value for money costing considerably less than a hotel inside old town but only very slightly outside of it. Service was decent although my check-in was a little late despite arriving right on time for check-in. Also if you’re craving Thai or Asian, Koa Thai next door is excellent and if they are fully booked, just order takeaway and eat it in your room next door!

We had such a wonderful experience at Le Grillon. This hotel deserves a 5 star review; our room was big, the beds were fantastic, personeel was very friendly, the location was close to all attractions and the breakfast was delicious! We were here at the last day of the city’s christmas market which I recommend to everyone who’s planning a trip to Strasbourg. We will definetely come back another time!

Me and my wife had a great stay at Hotel le Grillon! The location is perfect with lots of great restaurants close by in addition to the great hotel bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful giving out local tips. The room was great since we had to work one day we could use the desk in the room and we slept very well. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Strasbourg!

I was surprised with the overall experience at this hotel. By far one of the best 3 stars hotels in France I have been staying at. Big room with big windows. Fully renovated bathroom. The best was the indoor patio where guests can have breakfast, also the breakfast itself was surprisingly good.
I would fully recommend!
