the rooms are not nearly that size that advertiset. Standard room is max 16 squarmeters with shower room. Food is eatable but not very tasty. Beach is not as good as expected, yes above waterline sand, but in water stony, rocky and partly bedrock. Staff is nice and helpfull.

Normal aprtment-hotel. Got lucky and got a room with a ocean view from the balcony which was very nice. Good service, very nice pool area, also for kids. Thank you Axos team! We had a fantastic 5 days right at the start of the summer season. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with open arms. Whilst it’s definitely the people who make the place so fantastic, the rooms were bright and clean with everything you could want for a self-catered holiday. Breakfast included was also a very welcome addition!

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. The pool area was awesome. The location was near to the beach and there were plenty of shops and eating places nearby. After checkout I was able to use the pool area and there was a complimentary change area to use before we went to the airport.

Got back two days ago. Excellent hotel, a bit far from the center (old town), but the staff is very polite, rooms are clean and everything is new. It has absolutely all you need plus very very nice service. Two girls and one guy from the reception are very helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you rent a car or don't mind paying for taxi to go to the center. ☺️

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. It was very clean, tidy, well equipped. The staff are lovely and friendly, very helpful too. Beds nice and comfy. plenty of towels and very nice touch, slippers... Excellant value.. It is close enough to Rethymno town, nice walk or short ride in taxi. Eva, Dimitri and the extended family made me very welcome from Day 1. Returning after a year’s break it felt like visiting family again. The hotel is always clean and tidy and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The Thalassi Taverna is always a great venue in the evening even when there is no entertainment. Will defo want to be going back next year.

Eva, Demitri and all the Staff make you feel like family. For a 3 star hotel this place is 1st class. Rooms are adequate and clean. Just back from a wonderful week at Thalassi Hotel. It's not posh or fancy and the sunbeds could do with an upgrade but that's more than made up by the friendliness of the owners, Dmitri and Eva and the staff. The hospitality is first class. The pool area and facilities are spotless, we felt very welcome and at home. Food is outstanding. I first came here 20 years ago and will definately be back

Was here 3 years ago and it was amazing unfortunately on return this year we have found the evening meal to have gone down hill rapidly , not much choice , doesn't taste of much. We are half board and seriously would not do this again as we've found it a waste of money. The place is clean and staff friendly and the facilities are good . We hosted our wedding party at Batis Beach Hotel for our wedding held at Agreco Farm. We had 37 friends and family stay with us and we all had a fabulous time at Batis Beach. The stay started with welcome drinks, our room decorated, and flowers for me. The staff at Batis have been so attentive, caring, and nothing has ever been too much. Amazing hotel. Stayed here as part of a larger wedding party, perfect location by the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. 20 minute walk to the old town /harbour. The staff were fantastic and no request was too much. Breakfast on the roof top was great.

Nice, modern place to spend our holiday. The rooms are clean, and the view from the sea side balcony is amazing. I happened to spend my birthday in Rethymno and they were kind enough to leave me a bottle of local wine as a gift. I highly recommend this place.

This is simply an excellent small hotel. Our room had a hot tub and good size patio area. The hotel is spotlessly clean, there was a good variety of food at breakfast, good bar area, ample sunbeds on beach and staff that couldn't be more polite and helpful. It's in a good location, with the Old Town within walking distance (20min). We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.
