the rooms are not nearly that size that advertiset. Standard room is max 16 squarmeters with shower room. Food is eatable but not very tasty. Beach is not as good as expected, yes above waterline sand, but in water stony, rocky and partly bedrock. Staff is nice and helpfull.

Back to the Solimar for 3 weeks, usual room and many of the "old" staff. The weather was hotter than usual for the time of year usually between 30-34c, too hot for us. The room is appropriate, the hotel is nice, the staff is friendly, the food is very delicious. The bus stops are in front of the hotel, this way public transport is easy. The water in the swimming pool is crystal clear and not very cold. I absolutely recommend the place. :-)

Everything was perfect the room was clean and nice, our bed was also comfortable, the food was amazing but my favourite part was the bar with the bartender marinos he made good cocktails and he became our friend also! We recommend this hotel and we will go back!

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days. The hotel very friendly to families with children. Rooms very clean, cleaned daily every day. Change of towels with new ones every day. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Breakfast tasty and the products are fresh. Every now and then you can listen to live music in the bar, we had a great rock band. I highly recommend

Thank you Axos team! We had a fantastic 5 days right at the start of the summer season. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with open arms. Whilst it’s definitely the people who make the place so fantastic, the rooms were bright and clean with everything you could want for a self-catered holiday. Breakfast included was also a very welcome addition!

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. The pool area was awesome. The location was near to the beach and there were plenty of shops and eating places nearby. After checkout I was able to use the pool area and there was a complimentary change area to use before we went to the airport.

Fab location, the hotel is well managed by the lovely Mr Polyrios and his assistant Vozalia. Its constantly cleaned, towels changed everyday. Location is brill, 5 mins from the seafront. The restaurant food is tasty, the staff, Tako and Shako are stars. Thanks to you both.

Reception staff very helpful. Room immaculate. Cleaning staff came every day with fresh bedding and towels. Balcony to front of hotel. There was only one downside - Many of the guests were all inclusive so the bar did not open until 12 noon. So, as a paying guest, if you wanted to lie by the pool in the morning there was nowhere to get a drink.

This hotel was so cute and amazing to stay at. There is a small staff, but everyone is so friendly. I did not care for the beds as they are really firm. The owner Polyvios was so accommodating and made my stay pleasant and smooth. The food was always hot and fresh. And being steps away from the beach made the almost hour drive from Heraklion airport worth it!

Good value self catering apartments, with a good cleaning service. Grounds have a delightful variety of fruit trees and plants. Relaxed atmosphete and friendly helpful service. There are a number of cats that patrol the grounds. We have had a lovely holiday based here in Crete.

Just had a week at this hotel with all the family. The staff were lovely, George, Ella and Mrs Joanna. They could not have done more to help in the circumstances. Plenty of beers and cocktails at the bar served by Ella and a great time was had by all. Nice quiet location off the main road. my dear i recently spent holidays in crete. I stayed with my wife and two children at the Bueno Hotel. We were greeted by a nice old lady, probably the mother of the owner. The hotel itself is worth three stars. nice service by the poolside bar. in the evening nice Eli poured cold beer and treated peanuts and chips.
