There are several bars the beach bar in particular is lovely when you can hear the sea crashing away in the background

The hotel is in beautiful, well cared for, grounds. The staff are courteous and helpful. They were mortified when they found that our luggage had been put on a coach for the airport by mistake

The facilities are very good and whether by one of the pools or on the beach front all your needs are catered for. The entertainment is varied, and there are always a couple of choices to choose from

As by now, you are probably aware I would have no doubts in recommending this resort

If you are sun worshipers, then this is the place. About 20 minutes by bus to town. Food very good and grounds lovely. The beach is stoney so need shoes to walk into the sea. A few activities but not much else to do

We were half board so this only applies if you’re staying half board but the main restaurant is free for breakfast and dinner and you can go to the Italian restaurant on site for 1 night when you feel like a change

We absolutely loved this place. The welcome was outstanding with just the right amount of information. The activities were discrete, really great and kid's club spot on

Family disco was well handled and the Saolin Acrobats out of this world. The staff were immaculately friendly, polite and engaged even though our stay was the very last week of the season

The room was simply fantastic—spacious, beautifully designed, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The extra room in the suite was a game-changer, giving us a comfortable space to relax while our baby was sleeping

From gluten-free pizza, bread, pasta, and pancakes to many more options, it was clear they cater thoughtfully to all guests' needs. This level of attention and variety made our stay not only enjoyable but also worry-free

We had a great stay at Amira. Everyday we enjoyed the beautiful beach. Food was always delicious. We especially enjoyed diving in the ocean since you can see a lot of small fishes in the very clear water

The Amira a la carte restaurant was soooo good. We loved everything about our stay here. We wished we had more time but Crete had so much to offer we didn’t stay at the resort as much as we should have

The hotel is good, staff is very friendly, food was very good (better than other all inclusive greek hotels), but for us it was not really a place we would return to, it was not "special"

For example the beer was so far the worst we've had in Greek all inclusive hotels. There are certainly some renovations needed. Toiletries were not replenished in the whole week

Food is very different, so everyone can get something to eat, but every day breakfast is the same, some different meals at lunch and some days supper was with fishes. At pool after 11 o clock you need to pay for a drinks

There is a restaurant called a'la carte but you need to pay for drinks. Even for water, but like in the restaurant supper took us around 2. So you need to think if you want

Based on the number of rooms they need to add more. It's my first day here, but if you're bored with the sea and pool, you can rent a car and drive around the island

Nice place it has 5 pools, good food but bad wifi connection. In the evening it is quite impossible to have internet connection. There is pool bar all day and in the evening also. Every evening there is a show

For a truly special dining experience, I highly recommend venturing into the charming old city center of Rethymnon. The Beach: The hotel boasts a lovely private beach with plenty of sunbeds for soaking up the sun

I stayed in this hotel for a week mid-August and it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had! Obviously, the rooms have everything you need and are very clean and modern

Location: While the hotel is situated a comfortable distance from Heraklion Airport (approximately a 60km drive), it's important to note that Rethymnon itself is a bit of a taxi ride away (around 15 minute ride for 10 euros)

But I strongly suggest booking a room with a pool view, where you can enjoy an evening or two on the balcony. We had different menus every day and the choice was just perfect, not too much and not too little

If you need anything special there is a small shop on the territory of the hotel or you can go into the town 10 mins, where there are plenty of restaurants and shops, including Lidl

The balconies were well-maintained, offered ample space to relax, and provided excellent sound insulation. Impeccable Hygiene: The hotel's dedication to cleanliness was truly impressive

Grand Leoniki Residence gave us the true Crete Experience, it felt very authentic from start to finish. Would put a higher rating if possible

wonderful hotel neat and clean apartments. the beds are comfortable and it's like you being in a small village. the staff are very friendly and helpful and work hard to please the guests

There are some pool tables and extra entertainment for children (which we didn't use, obviously) otherwise the hotel is fairly bare bones, but again for the price, I couldn't recommend this hotel enough!! Rethymno old town is a short bus ride away with a bus stop very close to the hotel and such an incredible place to explore

The pool is a little cold, but we are here in October so that is expected. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Very close to the beach and the area around the resort is pleasant

Pleasant experience with this hotel, me and my husband have just returned from 2 week stay. Food OK you could always find something. Plenty of shops bars and restaurants on the hotel door step

Absolutely unbeatable for the price!! I paid £26/night (staying in a room with my boyfriend), which is cheaper than some hostels I've stayed in

The food is fantastic, beer and wine are on tap and self serve however you can purchase cocktails and spirits at a reasonable price. Room was spotless when we arrived and is cleaned daily (except for Sundays)

Super comfy bed, delicious buffet breakfast, heavenly rooftop pool, direct access to the beach and more! The infinity pool is amazing, so refreshing and Relaxing. Cafe Ammo’s next door was fab for food by the beach

What a truly wonderful stay we had in Atermono. The staff were so kind and caring, true attention to detail. The room was very comfy, only thing to fault is not enough hanging space for towels in the bathroom

Specific experience during our stay which resulted in the 3 star rating: We arrived on October to an hotel which was supposed to have 3 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool as well as ping pong table, squash court and so on (this was also explained on arrival)

At our first arrival there, the hotel employee sitting in the gym lobby told us that the pools are closed for the season (after that the day before we were told that we came to late and the pools are closed for the day)

Also, the hotel is located next to the main road (90), so if your room is located at the far end (like ours), it may be quite noisy. On the other hand, it easy to travel with car from there

We then went to the reception to get the ping pong and squash rackets. When we got back, he only pointed to the stairs leading to many dark rooms (some were packed with towels, old tv's

In reality the indoor pool was closed, also one of the outdoor pools next to it. The ping pong table and squash court were more or less abandoned

I think that when the hotel is full during the high season, all of these may become a major issue

I wish the hotel management will take care and keep the hotel as nice as it is today. Simple design, but with some art decorations. Nice pool area and reasonable sea entrance. Close to restaurant, shops or car rentals

The sea beach is rocky, so you need sea shoes, and the waves were big, so it was not allowed to go into the water, but they got an own pool, where the kids can play. The daily room cleaning is really professional

The hotel is nice, new renovated and lies beside the sea, where the view is amazing. You can see the sunrise and the sunset from your balcony. The breakfast is good, the bar is fairly priced

Across the street there are several small shops, where you can buy anything what you need and also a taverna, where the dishes are really tasty and fairly priced

The room was newly renovated and very cute! The beach is only about a ten minute walk away with plenty of restaurants and shops along the way. My main complaint is the WiFi was very spotty and incredibly slow
