Mine and my partner’s stay at the Luxme white was absolutely fantastic from the location to the food and facilities were amazing. Everyday there was always something to do with amazing evening activities for everyone to get involved with the rooms were superb with amazing air conditioning. I truly recomand this hotel! The food is really tasty, especially the sweets. The rooms have AC and the towels are changed daily. The pool is near to the beach, also it includes a bar. Lovely hotel, let down by 2 silly things. Firstly, nobody was allowed to use the pool until 10.30am. Unclear why as breakfast was at 7.30 so most people were out by 9.30am. The entire staff of this hotel needs to be commended. Friendly, helpful, courteous and most of all went out of their way to assure we had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The stay in the hotel was amazing and I really enjoyed getting a massage in the hotel spa. Evdokia is very friendly and helpen us with the booking. Dina did the massage and made me feel relaxed. Excellent trip! We were 7 days in paradise! The SPA was unbelievable, with Evdokia- the friendly , beautiful face at the reception, Dina and Constantinos at the massages...We had very clean and tidy rooms, the mediterranean views are from another world and all the personnell was exceptionaly profesional and friendly! What an absolute gem. There is nothing bad about this place. Centrally located in the old town, an abundance of restaurants and shops at your fingertips. Overlooking the fortress. This is a fantastic hotel right on the edge of the old town and within spitting distance of the Fortezza. The pool has a fairly small area around it and I can imagine during the height of summer it gets a bit more difficult to find a sun lounger in the sun but it wasn't a problem mid July.

The food and drink was good, especially the included breakfast. We loved the location between Chania and Heraklion for sightseeing. The town of Rethymno was charming with good food and shopping. Pool was lovely but unheated. Friends got massages at the spa and were pleased with the results.

We had one miserable male night manager front desk person who seamed to be upset about us asking for more toilet paper and made me get it out of the lobby washroom. Not cool. A gem in the mountain. You feel peaceful as soon as you arrive, although it is 15 min drive from the coast. Very nicely renovated, with plenty of places to sit and relax. This is a little beauty of a hotel. Quirky architecture. Really friendly. Right on the beach. The road outside is a bit of a challenge for pedestrians as it is a major easy west link for Rethymnon but once inside you are in a very nice place. This place looks the part and the rooms are nice. However, the food whilst it looks good is just kind of bland and the service in the bar very poor with waiters who clearly would rather be somewhere else. Incredibly loud entertainment and fitness events in the main pool were just awful if you want to relax.

Starting from food to entertainment and staff all and all were amazing during our stay. There are different pools which one can use base on his preference and the beaches are all tidy and well equipped. The room was also super clean and equipped with fridge and air conditioner.

Not the best Iberostar hotel, but definitely one of the best in Crete.
