I was there on family holidays with our 3 years old son. We enjoyed nice and clean room(cleaned every day) with aircondition, clean and warm swimming pools, tasty food and friendly staff. Bad wifi connection, good location between Chania and Heraklion and all things we wanted to see. Parking space on the quiet street behind the hotel.

Good value for money. Way to the beach is through the Maravel Hotel, about 200 meters from the reception. The food was varied and tasty. But there are small little things, that can be improved relatively easily and cheaply, for me I would put another trash in the room, hang curtains around the bed lounges and repair the machines in the gym - half is out of order. Lovely nice little boutique hotel with very friendly staff and the best chocolate brownies for breakfast! :) It's in the very centre of Rethymnon, so if you're on car expect some walking. The staff will help you, though, we chose the easiest way - the marina parking. Although in the centre, it was pretty quiet. There is also a lovely small swimming pool on site. Highly recommended!

This was a lovely old hotel but could have been a bit cleaner. Our room was also cold but we turned up the heating and got it sorted. The owner was very hospitable and allowed us to drink our own wine around the pool area. Breakfast provided a good variety of local foods. The restaurant also looked good but we didn’t eat there. A boutique hotel in a renovated Venetian building. It looks like we're living in history. Love the exposed beams on the roofs. The bed is very comfortable. The host is warm and welcoming. The place could be better insulated to sound, but with a historical building, I am sure there are limitations. The location is excellent. There are no elevators, so not ideal for people with mobility issues.

The hotel is lovely and quaint located in the Old Town and just round the corner from the Venetian Harbour. We arrived after midnight for check in and the staff member was very helpful, carrying our luggage up to the 2nd floor and letting us know where we could go to get food. Our room was very nice and clean with a nice balcony. It does need better lighting though, very dim in the bedroom and bathroom...

Nice, family owned, tranquil hotel located in the old town, walking distance to everywhere. Has a nice restaurant attached which serves a variety of taste dishes. Supermarket 5 min walk from hotel. No elevator and some of the stairs are steep - the higher you are the better the view but the steeper the staircase.

Charming small hotel on the edge of the "Old Town." Extremely friendly and kind staff. As a family of four we were well looked after. The breakfasts provide a good start to the day with fruit, pastries, local delicacies, bread, eggs, jam and honey and freshly squeezed orange juice and wonderful coffee.

Weird hotel... Awesome atmosphere but sometimes 'old' was a little to literally taken. The beds are supernoisy etcetera. Though it's a place i would recommend if you search a place to stay for a night or two

We spent a wonderful week at this hotel. Service was immaculate, staff so friendly and helpful. The best place to visit Rethymno. On the edge of the old town, everything within walking distance. This place is perfect in many ways. Voula is a very nice host and makes you feel at home. The rooms are very complete and have comfortabel beds. Very good breakfast! A gem in the mountain. You feel peaceful as soon as you arrive, although it is 15 min drive from the coast. Very nicely renovated, with plenty of places to sit and relax. A beautiful location by the sea, 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Rethymno. We booked 2 rooms for 4 people, but their system showed only 2 people. Sea front suite in Rethymno I booked a Jr. suite and it is very nicely appointed. The air conditioning works perfectly. This place looks the part and the rooms are nice. However, the food whilst it looks good is just kind of bland and the service in the bar very poor with waiters who clearly would rather be somewhere else. Incredibly loud entertainment and fitness events in the main pool were just awful if you want to relax.

Starting from food to entertainment and staff all and all were amazing during our stay. There are different pools which one can use base on his preference and the beaches are all tidy and well equipped. The room was also super clean and equipped with fridge and air conditioner.

Not the best Iberostar hotel, but definitely one of the best in Crete.
