Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. However, maids never cleaned the tops in our room and bathroom despite me leaving them empty. Sunbeds always taken early in the morning so unless you are an early riser you've no chance. Breakfast gets a bit boring but there are plenty of bakeries and restaurants to eat out. Overall not a bad hotel just needs a bit of a revamp and showers making bigger.

We had one of the best stays at the Melmar View Hotel. Dynos was very helpful and gave us some good tips on sightseeing. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the breakfast was also a good spread. The best part was the view of the Ionian Sea from the bar and pool area was just superb. Had an amazing stay in Balhambra. Location is superb, right in the heart of the beautiful harbor but still quiet and peaceful. All saff is very friendly and eager to help out. We ended up extending our stay. Very strongly recommend!

What a wonderful location to stay! The rooms are enormous and well appointed. We stayed in room #2 and have a beautiful view of the courtyard and partial view of the boats in the harbor. We have stayed in the hotel before so had no difficulty in choosing to go again. In fact we had the same room overlooking the cruise pier and harbour. Good, spotless room with lovely balcony. I stayed here last night. It’s a really beautiful place. Right on the harbour side with tavernas right on the doorstep. I stayed in studio 3 and it had a lovely spacious terrace over looking the harbour. Excellent communication with the owners. Was absolutely spotlessly clean. I couldn’t fault it. I've come to Greece many times over the years, but this is my favorite place to stay and my favorite island. Terra Mare Resort is "simple luxury" with an owner (Nicos) who cares. The large property has trees full of oranges, lemons and loquats, an amazing pool and overlooks beautiful Livadi Bay. The reception and breakfast areas of this hotel are extremely modern and well decorated. The rooms however are old and dated. I believe they are in the process of an update and once this is done the hotel will be perfect. Maid service is excellent with rooms cleaned an new towels provided everyday. A smaller hotel on a good location. Recently they refreshed it. The lobby/reception and dining room are beautifully. Personal in very kind. Rooms are smaller which is ok. Bathroom is to small for adults and old fashion. Toilet had broken kettle. Balcony is very narrow, you can only stand on it.

Our wedding was perfect!! It was the most magical location and the food was phenomenal!! We are so grateful for the support from the hotel. Special thanks to Theodorakis who helped everything run smoothly on the day.

Pros: Great location, free parking on the street, comfortable beds, advanced gym (one machine and only dumbbell so you better know what you’re doing), balcony for laundry, decent breakfast included, rooftop bar / restaurant, and friendly staff. I've stayed here 3 times now and it's always friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is really good. The rooms are very clean and would recommend booking a triple even if there's only two of you, the extra room is so nice. Location is spot on for restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend 😃

Just back from our second stay, having been very impressed on our first visit last year. Happy to say that standards are stiil high, very clean rooms, good breakfast and wonderful staff (Kostas always has a warm smile for guests and the dark haired lady on reception was lovely). I stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms are clean and shower has really good pressure. Beds are not very comfortable but good enough for a short amount of time. Great location, a 10 min into town where there are load sof restaurants and shops.

It was a very nice apartment with amenities 4 children and we were very comfortably clean with everything necessary. It had a beautiful view from the balcony and Mrs. Maria was very helpful, friendly, smiling and if I needed to she ran immediately. I highly recommend it !!!!

It's very near two small beaches that are only minutes from the hotel. We were greeted by a staff member and shown to our room. Nice touch.
