Thira's Dolphin Apart-hotel

Struttura a conduzione familiare (la proprietaria parla italiano), composta da 12 stanze, una piscina attrezzata con otto ombrelloni, ognuno con 2 lettini comodi. È situata ad Akrotiri, a sud dell'isola, vista affascinante su 2 mari (caldera e sud Egeo), lontano quindi dai centri più famosi e affollati di Oia e Fira. Consiglio di affittare un mezzo perché i bus sono molto affollati e spesso non puntuali. È però vicino alle spiagge più frequentate (pochi chilometri) e a piedi si può andare al paesino dove troverete dei bei ristorantini e anche un market. Noi abbiamo prenotato una superior con vista sulla caldera: la stanza è ampia e pulita, con frigo (vuoto), divanetto e TV e aria condizionata. Kit ospite (ciabatte, spazzolino e dentifricio, shampoo conditioner, doccia, saponettine, sapone liquido e disinfettante mani). Macchinetta caffè con possibilità di fare un espresso. Specchietto per trucco a muro con ingrandimento in bagno. Il terrazzino ha tavolo e 2 sedie e uno stendibiancheria a muro. Cambio biancheria ogni 2 giorni, ma a richiesta, la cambiano tutti i giorni. La struttura è stata recentemente ristrutturata e, molto importante, le pareti sono ben insonorizzate: era tutto pieno ma sembrava di essere soli. Si è totalmente autonomi, perché il cancello è sempre aperto ed il parcheggio è ampio e gratuito. Il mio giudizio è sostanzialmente positivo. Ora piccole pecche: Colazione da migliorare, poca scelta (soprattutto per la salata), pochi prodotti e non particolarmente di qualità. I lieviti erano freddi già all'apertura (Colazione 8.30/11), basterebbe dotarsi di un piccolo scaldavivande. Pane in cassetta, 2 soli tipi di cereali, macchina caffè/cappuccini non di grande qualità; è un po' distante dai principali centri dell'isola, non lo consiglio a chi non vuole affittare un mezzo di trasporto; è una residenza più che un albergo in senso stretto per cui non è adatta a chi desidera una assistenza alberghiera con servizi adeguati.

Albergo a conduzione familiare; Abbiamo soggiornato nella junior suite , ampia pulita e con una vista mozzafiato. L’albergo si trova in un posto tranquillo, fuori dal caos, nella parte dell’isola dove ci sono le spiagge più belle. Girando per Santorini abbiamo visto tanti alberghi lussuosi, ma Thira’s Dolphin rimane per noi il migliore per la sua posizione con vista da favola , tranquillità e cortesia dei proprietari

Quaint hotel with lovely hosts. We had a terrible experience from a hotel in the area so we had to rebook and found this little gem. The owners Adonis & Domenica were such lovely hosts. As soon as we arrived, they welcomed us with a chilled glass of juice and helped us to our rooms. The pool is nice to take a dip in after a long day. They also provided guidance on tour tickets to the Volcano & hot springs. Definitely worth the stay.

We stayed here for four nights and had a wonderful time. The hosts were lovely and the location was beautiful. Couldn’t ask for a better stay for our time in Santorini!!

Wonderful service, rooms are nice and clean, the owner will give you all the information you need. Also very close to a bus station. Enjoyed every moment!

Great view of the Caldera on both sides of the hotel. However the real magic in that place is the owner, Mr. Antonis and his family ❤️

The hotel has an incredible view, big swimming pool and so tasty breakfast!

Nice hotel in a great location, if you're lucky you will get a balcony view of Fira, Oia and the volcano. Pool is perfect with amazing views of the sea and church. Owners are very welcoming and provide a great Greek breaksfast.

Amazing place and the views are just amazing. The owners are the shining stars of this place! They are so incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is a nice continental spread, The pool is gorgeous and location is just a walk to the local bars and restaurants. Stay here. You won't regret it!
