Our party of 12 were disappointed with this resort, mainly the unhelpfulness of admin. staff. I realize it was only a three star resort and you get what you pay for, but other than the poolside, it was not a pleasant stay. Even the hospitality across the road at their restaurant needed a jumpstart. The young waiter was nice, but the brother who runs it, needs to be in a different industry.

Our group of couples and friends stayed at Caldera View for five days, and we couldn't have found a better place for the price in Santorini. While renting a car is essential for getting around the island, it was well worth it for the stunning location. The property is clean, well-maintained, and efficiently managed. We highly recommend it and will definitely return!

Room was large enough for family with 2 kids and very tidy, cleaning was done daily. 15min walking location to Caldera beach, bus stop besides hotel to go to Red beach or Fira. Car was possible to be rented in the hotel - owner Kostas greets each traveler himself and offers needed help during stay. Very tasty breakfast.

We stayed 2 night at one of their villas. It was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed the pool. Our other 2 nights we stayed at their hotel. The room was nice and loved the pool with the restaurant and bar right there. All of the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We had wonderful service. I know when I come back to Santorini I will be staying here.

I have stayed at Mathios Village for a number of years and this is a wonderful place to stay. It is located in the quiet village of Akrotiri near to the Caldera Beach but there is a bus to Fira outside the door. Kostas, the owner and his staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. Best hotel in Santorini. Away from the touristy Fira and Oia. Easily driveable from Akotiri to Oi (35min). Beautiful and clean hotel. Excellent breakfast. Great views from the poolside restaurant. The hotel is in a very good location, facing the sea, and you can watch the sunset while sitting in the house. The front desk service is meticulous. Our boat arrived at 11:40 pm and checked in at 12:00 am, which was already early morning Beijing time. With the coordination of the Ctrip platform and the agent, we checked in smoothly. First impression was this cannot be a 2 star hotel. Nice little petite hotel very close to the beach. 1st morning here and we love this place already.

The hotel is beautiful and you're a short walk from Perivolos and Perissea beaches, which are both amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful and there is a good convenient store right down the road.

Nice beach with long walking trail. You can also ride around on an ATV here, or sit under an umbrella and take in the ocean with a nice beverage. Decent selection of restaurants as well as bars. Bus is very much not on schedule, so be prepared for long waits.

Love this beach. Out of season it is quiet and very chilled. Fallen asleep twice here after enjoying a few beers and food at places along the front.

Second time in Santorini for us and this time we avoided the hustle and bustle by staying in Mesaria for a night. The hotel was just perfect. Spotlessly clean. A large room and bed. Lovely breakfast. A great, sweet hotel, very friendly host and staff. It is cleaned daily and requests are responded to in a very friendly manner. It is a very quiet environment, I slept well here because the beds are very comfortable. I also recommend the bakery which is open 24/7 and is just 5 minutes away.

The hotel is great, the rooms aren't exactly modern, but they have everything you need, reception is extremely helpful and everything you could possibly need is a walkable distance away, the only downside is that the shower water (hot tap) is salt water.

Really a nice hotel in a good position, in front of a big parking place, two steps far from Perissa beach via a little (but dirty and dark) street. The hotel looks recently renovated, with one or two little faults due maybe of the really recent renovation, but nothing important. We loved our stay at Helios. The staff at the hotel treat you like family. The room is very comfortable, and it is a few minutes walk to the beach. The beach ha the black sand and is fun to walk on. From the moment we arrived to the Hotel the staff made us very welcome and no request was a problem. We were a group of 21 guest and each member felt as though they were treated as VIPs. Individuals required assistance with booking tours and the suggestions given were fabulous and affordable. Lovely hotel - staff really helpful. Bathroom is small but functional. We had a huge rooftop terrace which was wonderful. Handy having a fridge and air con when it's really hot. Lovely clean pool and bedding changed daily. Will return!

Lovely hotel in a very quiet area. Not far from the centre- like 15/20 of slow walk. The staff was so nice, polite and helpful. Everything was very clean, they were paying attention to every detail (talking about room service). I’d love to go there again would recommend to everyone.

I'm so glad I stayed here! Beautiful view, clean, easy, comfortable bed, super friendly hosts. They even had a easy and super affordable rental car option that was key to being able to enjoy and explore the island - and arranged for easy and affordable transport to the ferry port when we were leaving the island. The hotel is nice and near the main town of Santorini. All the employees are so kind and helpful. You can rent a car or ATV through the hotel and they worked it all out for us. It was wonderful!

Really nice accomodations right in the heart of Thira. Great location and rooms were quite nice. Just about 3 minutes walk to the cliff and amazing views and nice restaurants. They were really good with tips to save money on dinner and gave really good advice for things to see.

We were so thankful for this place! Even tho the view of the water was minimal and the shower drainage struggled a bit, we still loved our stay.
