Very pleasant stay good service and reasonable price.. just avoid room 303 it's right in the lobby and gets very noisy...

2nd time was disappointed. Room was loud due to pool cleaning machine beside the room. Pool wasn’t family friendly due to ignorant smokers. Restaurant was excellent. Food was better than 1st time.

Nice family hotel with pool, children playground and pool bar. Very friendly stuff and good food. Also quite to sleep at night, nice for family with small children.

Nikos is a nice owner and really friendly. Rooms are clean and the staff do their best to help the guest. Apollo apartment it is a walking distance from the beach and to the center of Argassi

Awesome hotel with awesome management. In the room everything was clean. There is an awesome pool in the middle of the property. Hotel has a restaurant in the front with a variety of different Greek foods

We have stayed at the Semes hotel twice now. The first time was October 2023, (end of the season). The 2nd was May 2024(beginning of the season). We had a fantastic time on both occasions

One tip I would say is book early if you want to stay at Semes , its very popular with return guests

Access to the sea is great , we would recommend getting some sea shoes as they help getting over the first couple of metres which is pebbly, we managed without, as is the case for most of argassi beach , but once over this part the sea floor is sand and quite shallow for a long way out , its a lovely way to cool down and when we were there the sea temperatures were so warm it was like being in a warm...

Fully recommend, staff was extremely nice, they took their time to make us feel welcome, explained the different tourist attractions and even woke up at 5 am on our last day to make sure our taxi came to take us to the airport! Place is very clean, the chambermaid comes every day, the towels are changed every second day and so are the sheets! you have direct access to the water and you can order food...

Besides that, room was modern, shower had high pressure, great temp (can get very hot, be careful), good view from balcony, very comfy bed, pillows etc, flat screen TV, tea coffee kettle included

Room: junior Suite - Only down side is air con is on a timer for all rooms, you can pay to upgrade but in my personal opinion, air con should be included as standard, even with a "fair usage" policy off needed

2 pools, both clean, plenty of sun loungers, had the sun all over for most of the day, close to bar (shout out to Stathis, top barman!) Overall: would recommend

Chefs/waiting staff polite, always greet you, quick to clear plates. Cleaning staff always smiley, and did a fantastic job cleaning the rooms daily

House drinks were a bit pants, but you can hardly expect brand name wines and spirits. Though you can buy them along with cocktails. Zante town is a short bus trip away. Walkable but not advised as roads not paved

The owners are incredibly nice, the localisation is good as it's close to the beach, the rooms themselves are very good-looking, there's a pool here, a garden, you can pay and have delicious breakfast and other meals here

It is very quiet, the environment is very good, and the facilities are great. It is relatively cheap to stay alone, and the price/performance ratio is very good👍

First we stayed a week and actually after that we were supposed to go in a another place in Laganas but we came back to the Aeolos

Everyday there are plenty of choices and menu changes, need to note that it is a small hotel, so buffet options are limited, since it is only 40 something rooms, so don’t expect a big resort buffet, but even with that - there was plenty of choices

Being a smaller boutique hotel I thought it would just be a few continental options, but the friendly staff offer you a choice of options cooked fresh, which was a nice touch

Note: I would recommend only taking carry on luggage if you stay here because of the economical amount of space available to put belongings. Our booking came with a breakfast

Lastly, the breakfast was delicious with plenty options as well as the staff which was very helpful

The sea view room you booked can see the sea. Across the road from the hotel is a long beach coastline. The tap water on this island is too salty to even rinse your mouth

To be honest we only used the bar that was connected to the hotel swimming pool. We saw people using the bar then the swimming pool so not sure if the hotel was selling pool day tickets

Absolutely lovely bar/restaurant they have! It’s spacious but yet feels really homely. Staff is super friendly, food is great, cocktails are as well, and everything’s reasonably priced

The bar itself was comfortable with Tv's dotted around the bar and the service was table service if you wanted it to be or you could go up to the bar to order

Every day there was more than 10 meals to pick from and it always was tasty. If something ended, they immediately added more to the dish. People who work at the bar were really kind too

By the pool is the same, there were signs to say not to reserve sun beds but this was not enforced and many beds had towels on them before breakfast and the pool didn't open until 10!

We had an amazing stay there with many attractions and breathtaking scenery but what really made us feel welcomed here was the people working there - especially my man named Chris

A clean room, well-maintained property, attentive and courteous staff, decent and well-chosen food, absolutely reasonable prices for extra services, and, finally, a wonderful pool for children

Bathroom is small and the toilet flush is a bit strange with water sound dripping after flushing. Not sure if it is good value for money, you can’t really relax

My family and I highly recommend the amazing Hotel Varres! All of the staff were extremely friendly and polite - they helped us with a couple of restaurant recommendations (which were excellent) and spots to visit along the coastline and in the city centre

All areas in the hotel were very clean - the rooms got cleaned daily and the pool area was very nice! Our room was super spacious and cool with an awesome view of the trees surrounding the hotel, which made it very romantic

All the staff were brilliant and their shuttle service spot on , can’t fault the hotel or staff, and when we are back in Zakynthos will head for the Varres rather then a beach all inclusive hotel

Came to the Varres as at the end of our holiday my wife was admitted to hospital on the day we should have flown home. Moved to Varres Hotel as it is close if not the closest to the hospital

We had 55 guests join us at our amazing week at the white olive elite hotel in Zakynthos for our wedding, and what a week it was! The hotel was so helpful with luggage, allergies with meals and just all round a friendly bunch

The only thing I would say was that when you were outside by the pool, there wasn't that many toilets close by, especially if you were less able but there were some about 2 mins walk away for most guests

The hotel even provided some nice wine and a fruit platter to the room for us on our wedding day! I think all our friends and family thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend this hotel to anyone

All inclusive drinks were fine, although they did do premium cocktails for a bit extra which were amazing! The hotel felt very safe as there was always security there at night

Walking distance to the closest mini market is 2 minutes, with 10 minutes to the start of the restaurant street and 20 minutes or so to the beach

No noise from surroundings (you can hear the aeroplanes a little bit, but not a problem at all). Drive from airport, so a little noise must be expected. We just loved the week we had at Ilios Hotel 🤩

Out of the way from crowded and touristy Laganas, ILIOS is a calm couples' retreat in walking distance to the beach and local restaurants

The pool bar offers simple food that is tasty and the cocktails and drinks are fabulous and not overpriced. Breakfast is simple buffet food, bread, sliced fruit ( not whole pieces) , cereal and hot food

There were 3 people in our group all with desperate rooms. 2 of us had twin rooms which we really liked as the showers were a double rather than a cubicle you get with a double room ( so ask for a twin over a double)

Our room was spacious and looked renovated or new. The pools were very good for relaxing time. You can walk to Tsilivi leisure area or drive a few minutes to Zakynthos town. We will visit Petros hotel again!
