Windmill Bay Hotel

The hotel is very good, the service is very thoughtful, the environment is good, and it is convenient to travel by car. It's perfect!

Second visit this summer and not disappointed. Booked a suite and requested the same one we had in June which we were so lucky to have again. Beautiful suite with two balconies one had great view of the sunrise and the other was pool/ sea view with sun mid to late afternoon. It was busier than beginning of June but we always managed to find beds around the pool although the reserving of sunbeds was a bigger issue this time with people putting towels down before 7.30 and not reappearing until lunchtime. Once again all staff really helpful and friendly, we had breakfast and lunch every day and another meal at Anadalis, the steak was amazing. Hope to visit again next June but will depend on price, thanks to Sofia for allocating us our favourite room, I enjoyed the little extras in the room on arrival which I assume is for repeat guests.

Communication from Effie before we arrived, and throughout our holiday was superb, thank you so much, lovely to meet you. Hotel is lovely, nice size, great rooms and great location. Access directly into the sea for swimming and a lovely poor / Bar area. Maid service every day, towels & linen all to a very high standard. Breakfast was excellent, buffet service but fresh eggs (various ways) and fresh coffee available also. All of the staff are a credit to the hotel, very friendly & nothing is too much trouble. Highly highly recommended.

This is a super special hotel. We’ve been 3 times in the past 12 months and the experience is consistently excellent. Having worked in hospitality I am pretty picky but the hotel is in beautiful condition, the rooms and facilities are fantastic and the staff are absolutely amazing. The refurbishment has been done to a really high standard and it is a luxe stay. From reception you can see the pool and the sea, it’s a really breathtaking location. It’s a super social space and worked great for when we went with a big group of friends and as a family. The bar is poolside so you can have a drink while watching the kids play. There is a little playground next to the very well regarded restaurant. The sea is unreal and brilliant for children as it stays shallow and calm for a long way out. You can snorkel around the rocks. Just take some sea shoes as a few metres of rock before you hit the golden sand. We have stayed in a ground floor room with jacuzzi which has worked great for us, especially with little kids who want to warm up from the pool. A massive thank you to all the staff for making every stay truly special, you are an amazing bunch. We hope to see you again soon.

Stayed here during a holiday with my wife and in-laws. The hotel is very well maintained, and located straight alongside the sea. It is a half crescent moon shape and this design ensures everyone has a view of the pool and sea. The employees are gernerally friendly and helpfull. The bloke doing the cocktails in the afternoon did them perfectly and with great enthusiasm! The pool is nice and clean. And there is something of a kids pool next to it. Theres plenty of sunbeds although even during the late season there were multiple people scared of not being directly near the pool and so there were still people having contests of being the first there to reserve a bed and then dissappearing for hours. This isn’t allowed according to the hotel rules but employees didnt do anything about it which is a shame. Its a sad practice so it should be blocked. The rooms get cleaned well and on time and the cleaning lady is very friendly and polite knocking before entering. There is however an issue with the plumbing of the toilets it seems. A few times a day the rooms smells of sewage originating from the toilets. Which was weird especially considering they were clean… My advice to the hotel is have someone check this out maybe its a simple issue. The AC is included and works very well. The rooms are insulated well so the cold remains in the room and its pretty soundproof (not completely ;) ) There is an fridge in the room that works very well. I like my drinks ice cold and this fridge can freeze everything inside when srt to the max (had to turn it back down haha) Overall its a very good hotel and is definitely worth consideration when booking a holiday. Would definitely return again in the future.

Gorgeous hotel right on beach, we had the most gorgeous view from our balcony, room lovely, service from all is brilliant so friendly, breakfast had a great choice, just problem with wasps which cannot be helped, keep all sweet items covered, food was lovely during the day, we didn't use the restaurant so can't comment, but would highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel, we will defo visit again.

Every room has a seaview. The room had a fridge with bottle of water when we arrived. A hair dryer and all toiletries were provided as was a small vanity set and a large box of tissues. There was a coffee machine and kettle, cups and glasses. Also an iron and ironing board. The double bed was a good size with something like a 2 foot space between pillows. All rooms had a balcony and there was an electric roller blind between the bedroon and balcony which made the room cooler at night. On half board the evening meals are provided in one of two family restaurants, where it is a 3 course meal. Sunbeds are quite sturdy. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. It is the best hotel abroad that we have stayed in. There are steps from the gardens straight into the sea. There is no beach which could be a drawback if you like to be on the beach but we prefer to be by the pool.

A very nice hotel, modern, great view at the sea and pool, booked bed & breakfast. Very friendly personel, always supportful, and good food. Special thanks to the 3 women that handled breakfast & drinks / food at the pool. In the morning they arranged a perfect breakfast, fruit, break, eggs / omelet, sweeties, thee, coffee, juices for all those 'hungry' Dutch & English guests. They also cleaned up everything and served with a smile the guests at the pool. A big thank you for the great care. Of course I miss others that were less visible (kitchen personnel, etc) but all made my stay at Windmill Bay very pleasant!.
