Windmill Bay Hotel

Perfectly placed to explore Argassi and Zante town. From day 1 the staff at this hotel were fantastic. The breakfast is excellent and the hotel is kept clean. The pool is perfect and the pool bar food is great and well priced. We had a lovely 10 days here made more special by the staff and the nice people we met. Hire a car from Peter around the corner and explore the island. You will not regret booking this hotel.

Windmill Bay Hotel Amazing stay June 2025 You can expect an amazing stay at the Windmill Bay, we went early June and just wished we had booked for longer, everything from the accommodation, food quality, cleanliness and friendly staff was first class, the pool area was spotless and the water temperature just perfect no shivering on the side, just walk straight in, and just down a few steps and you are in the sea perfect. Another thing worth mentioning is the Al a carte restaurant in the evening a little expensive but well worth it the food was excellent, and the setting wonderful,outside with views of Zante Town by night across the bay. The hotels location was very good about a 10-15 minute stroll into Argassi center where there are restaurants and shops in abundance, and be sure to take a ride into Zante Town on the road fun train. We had only one problem in our suite (309) that was with the shower that flooded the bathroom on every use, we reported this on the first day, but it was not rectified. Read more

I had a very relaxing week in the hotel. I was there for a wedding and was able to fully relax during this time. Staff amazingly friendly and helpful and rooms clean and towels changed daily. It was a very enjoyable experience

This hotel has a 2star rating it should be much higher, 4star at least. Rooms clean and the right amount of storage, great shower. Great breakfasts, but the best of all was the great staff, always there to help with a smiling face, they couldn't do enough for us. Thankyou. Location was good, short walk in to the restaurants and bars.

Our second stay at this fabulous hotel & already booked again for later this year. Hotel is ideal for adults although families are welcome & pool amenities & also a play ground for children. The staff at the hotel are amazing & attentive and make you feel very welcome at all times. The pool area is kept clean & tidy and a place you can easily chill for 9hrs if you so wish. It’s quiet & peaceful too. There’s steps access to the sea & fresh water (cold) shower on the steps too. Provision of drinks & food at poolside too. On both of our stays we observed the ‘no reserving’ of sun beds before 9am being adhered too, which is refreshing. Albeit hotel at side of a main road the traffic is light & never heard or been disturbed by road noise. It’s a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of Argassi. As hotels go this is up there with the best and is highly recommended.

We usually book a hotel that is for adults only. We made an exception this time, and it was worth it. The summer season had just started, and the hotel was very quiet, there was mainly adult guests. Hard to say, is it that peacful anymore when tourist season really starts. Windmill bay is such a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel room was very nice and clean, we had a wonderful sea view from our balcony. The pool / beach area was really cozy, and there was room for everyone. The hotel is in good location, a short walk from amenities.

6 friends have just returned from this EXCELLENT stay of a week Small rooms however ! Bathroom pristine / gorgeous products/ huge soft towels/ brilliant power shower 5 star breakfast Sunbeds galore on grass or around the pool Dipped in the crystal clear sea and swam in the pool - take own towel or hire huge soft hotel versions €10 and €5 returned at the end No beach / not suited to families especially BUT perfect for couples and friends Staff could not be more helpful Everywhere spotless I AM returning with my husband!!

This was our first visit to the island of Zante and the Argassi resort. The Windmill Bay Hotel was just perfect. We stayed in Room 409 which was a junior suite, so we had a small living area next to the bedroom which made the room feel very spacious. The view from the room out to the sea was just lovely. I believe all rooms have a decent view with how the hotel is situated. There was an iron, small ironing board, hairdryer, fridge, safety deposit box provided in the room. There was also wine glasses and other glasses provided as well. The room was fresh, modern and clean. Plenty of choice at breakfast. We also did lunch which was nice too. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to return!

Peaceful and tranquil location 15 mins walk to all restaurants etc in Agassi. We loved the vibe in this place (May) and couldn’t fault the place with its cleanliness, courteous and charming staff and the restaurant was great. We will be back. Loved being by the sea. Obviously we came in May and quiet with couples….perfect !

The hotel is very good, the service is very thoughtful, the environment is good, and it is convenient to travel by car. It's perfect!
