Palmariva Beach Hotel

I opted (...and I made a big mistake) for a room in a bungalow with a view of the garden...and I ended up in the last row of bungalows located next to the road and the traffic noise exceeded any acceptable limit. The distance from the restaurant and the beach was approximately 250-300m. This last row of bungalows was the most unkempt on the outside, unwashed windows, the balcony was dirty, I found an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the balcony, etc. The room was large in size, in which they put a king-size cot but for dwarfs, the maximum size was 1.8 meters long and 1.6 m wide, probably the one who ordered it was a dwarf and didn't think that there were normal people taller than 1.2m. The bathroom was small, with a specific smell of sewage, a smell that persisted throughout the stay in terms of intensity and flavor. The towels were changed daily and the bed linen every 3 days. TV in the room the size of a tablet. Although we tried to change the room, we were met with a categorical refusal by the receptionist, a refusal based on the explanation that the hotel was "fully booked", a complete lie by the way, the hotel and the first two rows of bungalows being over 70-75% empty. I noticed that in this row of bungalows, the third, exclusively citizens from Eastern countries were accommodated such as: Romanians, Bulgarians, Serbians, North Macedonians, etc. and in the first two rows were accommodated French (priority), Finns, etc. The restaurant: in the first 4-5 days it was relatively empty (which proves that the hotel was empty) getting crowded in the last days of the stay. Clean, food ok, with a minimum number of employees who could not really cope with the flow of tourists on the days when it was crowded. Repetitive food, the same side dishes, about the same desserts, fruit and ice cream in the open. The beach was with fine sand, smooth entry into the sea and protected from waves by 2 side piers. As beautiful as it was, it was also dirty, full of cigarette butts, empty glasses, dirty and broken sunbeds. The pool relatively ok. Better maintained than the beach There were 3 bars, one on the beach, one by the pool and one inside the hotel. The ones outside opened at 10 and closed at 18. The one inside closed later but after 23 you had to pay for drinks. The hotel has a covered parking lot with a net and a few places in the yard. I do not recommend!

😫 Room is far below my expectations. The surrounding overall environment is great tho.

Big room but the air conditioning is installed with the air vent directly to beds, so you can't sleep with it on and in the room is warm.
The all inclusive drinks are poor. The beer is like a soda water with beer flavor. The juices are very swet.The dishes are not washed well.
