The Athens Mirabello in Athens

Finally a hotel I could rest and sleep properly after enjoying the lovely Athens. It is very well located, with a good selection of breakfast. The place is very clean and the room is very cosy: comfortable bed and pillows. It was lovely to enjoy the morning sun on my own balcony.

A hotel next to the metro station clean big room with a fridge,desk, mirrors, closets... Breakfast a good variety of delicious foods some kind of egg(scrambled, omlette...),fruits,pastries,bread,wraps cereals, coffee,juices,tea,desserts and some more. Friendly staff. The only thing a bit disturbing was the smell of wastewater in the bathroom.

I experienced every single emotion you could possibly imagine and more at this hotel. I came here with 50 Canadian youths who visited on a school trip. We started and ended our trip here totalling to three nights spent at this hotel.

The balcony’s were great - super accessible for toenail clipping and shirtless pushups. The balcony dividers end just high enough that someone can and will sneak under and break into your room without pants on. Don’t worry though! While your teacher is yelling at students who got caught out after curfew you have the perfect opportunity to have your guest quickly run across the hall without getting caught.

Although it’s pretty hard to figure out how to make calls using the phone there is no need to stress! Young children who are also staying at the hotel will call you so that you can be sure your phone works! This may happen at anytime so it’s good to always be vigilant and ready to accept calls.

If you lose your key because you’re an idiot and drop your wallet while petting cats don’t stress the hotel staff have you covered! Infact they are incredibly helpful whenever you get locked out of your room without any socks on - trust me I would know 😂

Be warned the wifi in the downstairs bathroom does not work snd they do not keep toilet paper stocked. If you are using the toilet down there you’ll have a hard time texting for support and may have to have a poppy bum until you get back up to your room.

At this hotel I experienced something quite horrific and although the event was far from ideal there is no place on earth I’d rather experience it than the Mirabello. My friends divorced at this hotel and I learnt that the balcony and the chairs in the hall are both excellent venues for crying and sulking over stolen hair products.

Overall great for school trips or large groups. Food was decent - good for large groups. Early in the morning you could be blessed with the sight of two strapping young men going for a run or even a robbery across the street!

My stay at this hotel was incredible. I was really skeptical about the placement of the hotel in the neighborhood Omonia. But the hotel is pretty nearby Omonia Square. Perfect to get the metro or the bus to a day trip you booked. The breakfast was also amazing! Good food and a clean dining room. The staff were also amazing ❤️ The receptionists asked how my day was and what I visited! I felt seen which is perfect. The receptionists, cleaning staff and the breakfast service was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had in a hotel. I’ll 100% book here again if I’m ever in Athens again. Lovely boutique hotel. Small but very adequate rooms, with a balcony. Much better than average breakfast included. Great location, very helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Good location hotel with good room and very good breakfast. I was amazed to find some vegetarian/eggetarian stuff apart from bread, cake , croissant and yogurt. Being just around approx 200 m away from Omnia metro station it was very easy to reachout here. Room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was good, clean with a tub and shower. I wish there could be a curtain too, which was not there in my room atleast. Lobby are they have a bar for those who are interested. Being 2-3 buliding away from main road makes it non-noisy and surrounding area also didn't appeared to be unsafe. Rather there is a convenience store next to it. Overall it was great value accommodation and I would suggest it.

Common hotel with cheap price. Breakfast is simple by reasonable price.

No need to worry about location by the worst area in Athens, because the hotel is really close to the subway station and there was no abnormal people at the street.

Clean room and good air conditioning. Good bathroom.
We got 2 singles, rather than a double/queen which was odd.
Nearabouts Omonia square/metro. Dodgy part of town, lots of drug use. Taxi driver told me not to walk the streets alone.
But I found it fine in the daytime, it’s actually fine. It was so central - I walked to all the sites including Acropolis etc. Perfect location that way. Just be careful about pickpockets/etc and stick to main roads, and travel in the daytime.
Breakfast was continental buffet.
And we were able to have cereal/coffee/biscuits when we needed a really early checkout.
One odd thing - encountered a hostile receptionist when returning to the hotel who demanded to recheck my room number/that I was a hotel patron… a bit of a shame as otherwise I thought people were fine.

Great hotel and good sized rooms for solo travelers. The only thing I personally did not like was the view of the abandoned block of flats in the back of the hotel where my room was. But overall it was great.

They have a great breakfast variety with good coffee and juice selection. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
