Athens Mirabello Mini-hotel

Lovely boutique hotel. Small but very adequate rooms, with a balcony. Much better than average breakfast included. Great location, very helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Good location hotel with good room and very good breakfast. I was amazed to find some vegetarian/eggetarian stuff apart from bread, cake , croissant and yogurt. Being just around approx 200 m away from Omnia metro station it was very easy to reachout here. Room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was good, clean with a tub and shower. I wish there could be a curtain too, which was not there in my room atleast. Lobby are they have a bar for those who are interested. Being 2-3 buliding away from main road makes it non-noisy and surrounding area also didn't appeared to be unsafe. Rather there is a convenience store next to it. Overall it was great value accommodation and I would suggest it.

Common hotel with cheap price. Breakfast is simple by reasonable price.

No need to worry about location by the worst area in Athens, because the hotel is really close to the subway station and there was no abnormal people at the street.

Clean room and good air conditioning. Good bathroom.
We got 2 singles, rather than a double/queen which was odd.
Nearabouts Omonia square/metro. Dodgy part of town, lots of drug use. Taxi driver told me not to walk the streets alone.
But I found it fine in the daytime, it’s actually fine. It was so central - I walked to all the sites including Acropolis etc. Perfect location that way. Just be careful about pickpockets/etc and stick to main roads, and travel in the daytime.
Breakfast was continental buffet.
And we were able to have cereal/coffee/biscuits when we needed a really early checkout.
One odd thing - encountered a hostile receptionist when returning to the hotel who demanded to recheck my room number/that I was a hotel patron… a bit of a shame as otherwise I thought people were fine.

Great hotel and good sized rooms for solo travelers. The only thing I personally did not like was the view of the abandoned block of flats in the back of the hotel where my room was. But overall it was great.

They have a great breakfast variety with good coffee and juice selection. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Very good hotel in the city center, near the metro station of "omonia". Nice base to get the Acropolis and other city main attractions. At night there is a seff-service dinner for €18.

Hotel is ok for the money you pay. Since it was over 40° outside, the air conditioning was a bit of a problem because it can't cool the apartment overday or overnight ,inside on screen is 18° and on medium AC but to hot , they started solving problem third day when we left the hotel. Breakfast ok, rooms bathroom clean .

If your looking for a clean inexpensive hotel in Athens. This is the one!! Perfectly located, amazing staff and delicious breakfast included in the morning. Wifi works great in your room to!

First of all: apart from one lady, all staff members were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very central and there's a great breakfast buffet. There's a tiny elevator which helps you to get your luggage upstairs. The bed in my second room was very comfy (the first room looked nice but the bed was hard as a rock). Overall, good value for money. 👍

Now my issues: The first night I was in a room with a very hard bed. It was very uncomfortable and I could barely sleep. When I told the receptionist in the morning I'd like to change rooms, she first told me that all rooms had the same mattresses but eventually agreed to let me move. In the second room the bed was super comfy, so she definitely didn't say the truth about all mattresses being the same. Also, after moving (on my second night) someone opened my door around midnight even though I had locked it from the inside. It was someone who had a key card to my room, not sure whether another guest's key card accidentally worked on my door or if it was a staff member. Anyway, I screamed and the person left. Afterwards, I didn't feel safe in the hotel anymore. When I told the staff about it the next morning, she said that was not possible and didn't take my concern seriously. Instead , she implied I was making it up. Very disappointing reaction! I asked for the camera recordings of that night to prove that I was telling the truth and she told me there were no cameras upstairs. What the heck?! 🤨

Otherwise I really liked the hotel and all the other staff members were friendly, but this one lady clearly doesn't like people. 🤷

Clean Hotel and price is excellent. The receptionist are friendly and always helpful. I was happy to get an earlier check-in as I was so tiered. Wonderful room, clean and quite which is not normal for Athens.
