The location is good, but the hotel facilities are average, the room size and sanitary environment need to be improved.

Easy access and near the train station next to me Zara

The family room is average, the window is an interior view, looking out to an atrium. There is no sun, and the sofa bed is average in texture. The bottled water in the refrigerator seems to be charged, but I didn't drink it anyway. The advantage is that the breakfast is very rich. One meal is enough for half a day.

I arrived at the hotel around 9 am and room was not ready. We kept our luggage at the hotel and were back around 5pm. After getting back the luggage, we proactively approached the receptionist for check-in. He checked my passport and asked me to show the hotel voucher. I was wondering the computer system should have our record after checking the passport. I haven’t been asked to show voucher with booking through Trip.com. I showed an electronic version in the phone but he gave me a card and asked sending it by email. I was tired after a day out and the receptionist set huddle to me. I was surprised but did it accordingly. His attitude was unacceptable. After receiving the room cards, I requested his name because no name tag was on his uniform.
The next evening, I called from room requesting a bowl and plate. The same receptionist sent them in person and asked me why I needed his name. He said that he didn’t do anything wrong and why I recorded his name. I replied”if you didn’t do anything wrong, you don’t need to worry. You do not wear your name tag but others do and so I want to know who you are.”

It is my first time to encounter such experience in the hotel. This staff is not professional and childish. This is an individual case and staff in the hotel as other staff are helpful and polite.

I wish the hotel would give extra training and education to that young man. Thanks.

I do not believe this property reflects a 4 star hotel by definition. Let's start with location...It is located in a not so atheistically pleasing part of Athens so be careful walking around the neighborhood. The rooms are too small and very outdated. I stayed at this place for a total of 5 nights on 3 separate occasions because of a group tour. First 2 nights the room was as small with a window that opened to an alley which was on the 6th floor. The AC barely worked. The second time I was given a better yet still standard room on the 5th floor. This included a sofa but the bathroom had zero ventilation. Main window faced an alley but at least the AC worked. 3rd time I was on the 1st floor, room was tiny again and the AC was broken completely. In addition they advertise a GYM but the one and only weight machine has a sign in it that reads "Out of Order". The treadmill is old, the bike is older and the 4 kettle balls are all that's available. The absolute BEST thing going is the Rooftop Restaurant/Bar and Staff. Food is Great and the Staff is great as well. The Bar and drinks are fantastic and the Bartender is amazing with the crafting of cocktails. The view of the Acropolis is fair. Hotel is a 3 star as far as accommodations.

We as a family checked in this so called 4 star hotel but were shocked to see the very average facilities.
Especially the reception people had poor communication skills and were very rude .
The hotel room was the smallest size with the just minimal facilities and very little space available to move around.
The bath cubicle was just good enough for an average build person to stand and I hit the glass door more number of times than my heart rate while taking the bath . Water was leaking from the lower end to spoil the dry area.
We were shocked to know that even the first day water bottles were chargeable which we were not informed at the time of checking.
Even the additional coffee sachet was available @5£/ sachet ( such thing which we never experienced in the last 30 years).
We had rhe worst experience in this hotel & We strongly DON'T recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is in a great location, almost in the center of the Acropolis, with convenient transportation. The front desk staff is also very professional. There is a bar on the top floor with a view of the Acropolis, and there is also a suite with a view of the Acropolis.

Excellent option in Athens!!! Warm and kind staff. Clean room, outstanding view from the rooftop restaurant and plenty of options for breakfast! It's a 5/5 recommendation for your trip in Athens.
